Chapter 193 Ultimatum
Alessia's POV
Alex's phone vibrating on the side table wakes me up abruptly, turning to the side. I check the clock it's "10:00 am" already time to get up. Turning around I watch Alex as he sleeps peacefully, his long lashes framing his chiseled cheekbones. His features are so striking that if I had been an artist I would have made countless masterpieces of him already..
I reach for his brow, smoothening the creases there slowly as his phone starts to vibrate again.
I pause watching as he shifts and it seems like he is about to wake up but he turns around and adjust the covers. He must be tired after the workout he gave me last night.
My feel my cheeks tlwarming up ,
“Focus Alessia.”
Shaking my head, I reach over him and turn off his phone as I lean back his strong hands hold me in place .Warm tingles rush through my body as I turn to him,I find his dark eyes on me .
I feel a jolt in my chest
Gosh this man is so damn beautiful

I could stare at his face for hours

Alex squeezes my arms once and success in curtailing my wanton thoughts .He smirks. “Do you like what you see?” I blush turning crimson as I scramble back.
“I switched off your phone so you could get more sleep.”
He yawns, stretching his arms above his head as his muscles flex and I feel myself drooling .This Man will be the death of me!
He snaps his hands in front of me again ,"Earth to the princess."
I roll my eyes at him “You are not even that hot!”
“Uhuh I hear you.” he teases and I laugh suddenly remembering what I had planned to speak with him about last night before we got otherwise distracted . My smile disappears and turns into a frown as I lean away from him resting on the headboard.
He notices my mood change instantly and shift closer “Alessia what is the matter? Tell me.”
I turn to him eyes full of worry no more teasing in sight .I cover my face with my hands “Your family hates me Alex I can't have my kids go through what I went through . ..” I pause taking a delayed breath. "What I went through at the Sirrano mansion.”
He watches me his eyes flash dark with possessives and he pulls me closer to him “Alessia After the meeting they will have no choice but to accept you. His voice is low and deadly or they will be banished.”
I gasp “but Alex.”
He places a finger on my lips silencing me “I am not you father. I will learn from his mistakes not repeat it .”
My heart softens instantly “Alex-.”
“Alessia leave it to me please you are My bond Mate and I….”he cups my cheeks raising my eyes to his “I love you with every iota of my being!”
My eyes widen with shock as tears fills them, I blink them back furiously . Now is not the time even thiugh its happy tears . “Oh Alex ,I know you love me….” I sigh “but I need to feel safe and protected with your family too.”
I whisper hoping he will understand
He lifts his brow "Alessia .."
My chest constricts but I continue “Alex, your whole life has been spent protecting and shielding your family, especially your Mother . And of course Isabella.” I add derisively “I do not want to stand in between you and them making your work harder.”
Alex exhales deeply “Listen to me Cara Mia.” he says firmly lifting my face to watch him “You will never be a burden on me.” he says firmly “Alessia you are the reason why my whole existence finally makes sense . I know now what I am fighting for.”
My heart beats so loudly in my chest I can barely hear him .
“What if she ,they force you to choose?” I ask him the one thing that keeps bothering me.
He answers swiftly without a second thought ,his arms tightening around me .Eyes flashing with determination.
“Then they will finally find out what it means to be banished.”
“But-” I protest weekly
He holds on to me tighter, not letting me go . “Please Alessia let me finish .I can't hold it any longer I found out I loved you that very day in the coven”
My mind flashes to the day he was set up with two witches and I found them in a compromising position. Anger fills me as I move to get off him but he traps me in place ..
“Alessia, I thought we already established that I was innocent ?” His voice is rough with emotion now and I take a few calming breaths trying to quiet my racing heart moistening my lips.
I answer “Yes we have Alex.”
He kisses the side of my lips gently “Then give me a chance…”He pauses for a moment to catch his breath “Please ,let me handle my family and give me a chance to prove I am worthy of you Princess Alessia Molano.” He takes a deep breath “Besides I do not plan to go anywhere without you or die under mysterious circumstances” he chuckles dryly but I don't join him.
No one plans things like that but enemy forces are always on the move. Always.
Looking on the bright side,For the first time ever I was called by my full title and my heart races . No better feeling than your man acknowledging that you are a princess .
I stare into his eyes seeing nothing but love and determination. Resigned I give him a nod
“You have until after the meeting” I tell him gently. Joy courses through his mind .He let me in unknowingly and it soothes some of my doubt.

He kisses me again and again all over my face. “Thank you Cara Mia.”
I nod not wanting to take away his joy as my heart is split in two. I love him too with every fiber of my being but If after then they haven't changed this Princess has a plan B in mind ..
