Chapter 154 Plan
Alessia's POV
“Yes it's the map Padre’s wife created.” Alex replies “He also sent the soft copy to my phone “
Angelica not able to resist gets up and walks around the room, her fingers trailing on the beige wallpaper. “The ward is strong” she murmurs “Very steady it makes the house feel alive.”
“Orzo is the best at creating protective wards.” Mc Gregor says confidently “Please do not try and test the wards it will hurt you.”
“We have no reason Sir.” Luca assures him
Feeling a slight chils I stand up and drag my chair closer to the fireplace wanting the warmth to chase the cold I feel in my bones. The journey wasn't that long but the air conditioning was on throughout.
Alex soon pulls his chair closer to mine
“Do you want to rest for a while?” he says “then we can hatch our plan?”
I shake my head as I stare into the embers “No Alex” I correct him “it's better of we plan now” I murmur
He lets out a deep breath before whispering just one word “Cara mia.”
“Alex we do not have that much time.”
“Before we start Alex” I turn to him “Are we waiting for Padre’s information here or we will be heading to La Concorde?”
He looks at his watch before answering “We can spend a few hours here and the rest in Concorde.” I nod not saying a word he continues “If you wish to discuss it then -”
He does not get to finish before Lucy cuts in looking up from the map she was studying. “Alex she has a point, time is running out.”
Angelica slowly walks back to the sofa setting in between Luca ansld Lucy “We can plan while we wait for a few hours to get all the intel required.”
Luca leans back folding his arms on his chest
“Since we are all in agreement, let us begin.”
Alex’s gaze falls on me once more before he gives in “If you all insist he says lets discuss best entry point first.”
He picks up an oval transparent glass paperweight from a side table and places it on the map. The Red circle glare back at us like a beacon.
La Geneva
Even on parchment it looks scary
“Padre’s wife has marked the eastern border as the best entry way.” Alex points with a finger “the eastern ridge is best because it avoids all major checkpoints” Alex explains “it leads to a secondary council entrance.”
“That sounds perfect” I murmur as my pulse skips a few beats. I can't believe it's finally happening!
Mcgregor clears his throat, I forgot the old man was in the room to be honest. “Do not use brute force in La Geneva” he says matter of fact “Because they will be quick to retaliate and you will not survive.”
My heart sinks like a stone
What does he mean by we won't survive
We will definitely survive and live to tell the tale!
I have too many things riding on this
“We do not intend to use Brute force.” I answer
His eyes narrow one me for a moment “What is your plan then Princess?”
I huff in frustration
Trying so hard not to flip a bird at him
What is his business with our plans
He is just a Cottage owner for Dios sake! But because I was raised properly I swallow my impatience and answer calmly as I meet his gaze
“We plan to Infiltrate.”
A slow smile splits his face “Aha!”
As Alex faces me “This is the time to explain your plan to the rest of our team Members.”
My heart is beating loudly, I hope they dont think my idea is bad and we have to know think up another plan. All eyes zero in on me and I take a few deep breaths.
“I do not plan to walk in as Alessia”
Lucy sits up immediately
“I intend to glamour myself and enter as one of their high council members.”
The room is quiet for a few minutes as they all weigh my plan. Luca leans forward slowly “Alessia that will be quite risky”
Angelica leans into him her head on his shoulder
“Alessia I am with Luca on this ,it's going to be dangerous.”
“Any way we enter is going to be dangerous” Angelica “but this seems like the safest plan” I respond calmly.
Alex watches everything unfold quietly without saying anything.
Rolling my yes at him I carry on “What I need is a full dossier which we have asked Padre for” I continue “I will study his habits, speech patters, movements, ticks, Enemies, Allies and so on.”
I let out a deep breath I didn't realize I was holding
“Padre is thorough he will come though” Angelica says firmly
“What happens when you enter inside?” Luca asks
The most ingenious part, I give Luca a smile “I plan to summon you all as witnesses to Thomas madness as he recruited more hunters in your very prescense” I calmly say
“Leading you right to where La Rosa is been kept”
Lucy adds

“Yes...”

“Princess,you think your plan will fly?” Hugh asks carefully I didn't know he had been standing in the doorway
“Yes Hugh I think we have a good shot” I say
Mcgregor taps his cane “What if you are found?
Turning to him my eyes flash gold as my gaze hardens “I plan to be in and out quick before they do.” pausing I add “but if they do, then I will gladly burn a path out of there for us.”
No one says a word after my fiery declaration, Alex’s eyes are still on mine.The fire continues to cackle softly and outside time passes as we wait for Padre to provide the information we need.
Here in the the warded cottage we are planning Revenge and maybe war... We don't plan a loud or reckless move rather we move with Stealth.. And that is why I am very confident about this plan because they will never consider it.
