CHAPTER 78 - YOU’RE UNDER ME

Siel could not help but frown at Elias’ words. Out of all places and circumstances, why on earth did they meet again in a place like this?

“Hey, how did you enter this place?” Elias asked in a low voice, totally blocking Luis from hearing anything.

“Elia-”

Elias raised his hand, motioning Luis to stop speaking.

“Hmm. You’re taller now, eh? Show me your ID.” Elias commanded with his palm on Siel’s head. “Unless you’re illegal? Which is very possible.” He added with a soft laugh.

“No. I’m not.” Siel answered with a hateful tone and fetched for her ID but then looked at him. “How sure are you I’m not going to fish for my gun and-”

“Do it.”

Siel stopped. “Huh?”

“Do it. Kill me if you want.” Elias challenged. “But bear this in your mind, sharp tongue.”

Elias stepped closer as his figure totally covered Siel from Luis’ sight. “Killing me will profit you nothing. But letting me live will help you with your mission.” He whispered wittily, and Siel flinched when Elias’s finger swept inside her pocket, fishing for her ID.

Siel bit her lower lip, silently praying she’ll be assigned under Luis to make her mission easy.

But as soon as Elias saw where she was assigned, his face shone and Siel’s face gloomed. She had a hunch her wish was not answered.

“So your name is Siel? Cute.”

“What the heck is your relationship with that girl- ''

“She will be one of my men, brother.” Again, Luis was cut off by Elias who answered breezily.

“What?!” Luis and Siel exclaimed in chorus. Luis frowned and exchanged a glance with Siel who had the same expression as him.

“Maybe you mislooked the code?” Siel asked, more hostile than she intended. “S-Sir,” She added in an attempt to sound deferential. She was really not used to respecting other people rather than Her Highness and Valor.

“Are you sure you looked at it carefully?” Luis asked and sauntered towards them.

“Yes, and she is under you, brother. But I’ll take her.”

Luis was taken aback. Elias was never the type who would ask for additional men under him for he preferred fewer dogs. Yup. Fewer dogs, fewer problems. Luis grinned and walked closer to them.

“That’s a surprise. Did you eat something off, brother?” He asked with a mocking tone. “Or you’re simply interested in her?” Luis added and stopped in front of Siel, making Elias alert.

“Hmm…” Luis lifted her chin with his finger, studying her face carefully. Siel silently yet sharply looked at Luis’ eyes. Seeing her fiery eyes, Luis smirked and leaned closely but Elias quickly grabbed his shoulder.

“I see why now, brother. She had sharp eyes eh? Like someone we know.” Luis mumbled. “What if I don’t want her to be under you?”

“Whether you like it or not, she will be under me. That’s not a favor, brother.” Elias answered swiftly and grabbed Siel’s arm, pulling her to him. “You have countless men and you hate clumsy ones, right? Then that means you'll not going to waste your godforsaken time to train her.”

Agast, Luis glanced at Elias, sharper than the broken glasses beneath them. Siel took it as an opportunity to secretly throw something at her driver who was still kneeling on the floor. It's bad not to pay despite any circumstance, right?

“I told you to be careful in terms of speaking to me, Elias. Have you forgotten? I hold more power than you.” Luis warned, forcing down his urge to shout out. Elias sniggered. Completely aware of how pissed Luis became.

Hearing his snigger, Luis’ guards became alert and so were the people around them.

“I already knew that, Luis. Then I don’t have to be careful, do I?”

“What did you say?!”

“Compose yourself, brother. We’re not in the right place for you to be angry.” Elias replied cheekily.

Luis was a man who couldn’t control his emotions. Well, it’s not that he can’t do it; it’s just he doesn’t want to do it and that’s where Elias became Loki-ly superior. He knew whenever Luis completely lost his temper, everything he will do failed.

“It’s getting late. You.” The guard Elias pointed flinched. “Make sure to clean everything here unless you want this incident to reach Sir Edom’s ears.” He added and started to walk away, grabbing Siel with him.

The guards swallowed their dry saliva and looked at Luis, waiting for his words. But Luis only nodded his head with a deadly expression. He hates it when Elias does things that will pull him down. He must be the superior one.

“Damn you.” Luis cursed angrily, silently killing Elias in his mind. But then grinned. “If that’s what you want, then let’s play.”

“Wait,” Siel huffed and tried to pull her arm from Elias but he ignored her. “I said ‘wait’!” She shouted and forcefully grabbed her arm.

“It’s getting late and we still need to travel back to-”

“My driver was not from here. I need to make sure she’s safe.”

Elias stopped and scratched his nape.

“You sure are kind, eh? Can’t you be that kind to me as well?” He mumbled and opened the back seat door.

Siel’s eyes widened when Elias pulled her arm and pinned her on the back seat with his body, totally blocking her from moving.

“Hmm. How about some face introduction after I finally knew your name?”

Siel’s eyes widened. No. No one is allowed to see her face. Seeing her reaction, Elias grinned and slowly reached for her mask with his free hand.

“Let me see your-” He stopped.

“Touch that and you're roasted.” Siel warned coldly. Elias froze. Her eyes were intimidating. It was as if some spell was cast and he was unable to free himself from it. He knew only one person that can give such a reaction from a mere glance.

“Get off me,” Siel commanded, totally forgetting superiority. Well, in the first place, she was not Elias’ dog.

“Have you forgotten? You're under me. You cannot just order me around, sharp tongue.”

“One.”

That mere word caused Elias to slowly back out, throwing his hand in the air. His eyes trembled the moment it caught Siel's gun.

“W-What? How did you get that?”

Siel stopped then realized she took the wrong gun and cursed under her tongue.

“That’s not something a woman like you can possess.”

It was the silver Royal Key Gun of Theupholis that only the heir must possess.

“Are you-”

“Young Master gave it to me before. You don’t have to know why.” Siel answered swiftly and pushed Elias out of the car, then pulled herself out as well.

“Make sure to hide that. If my twin sees that, I won't be able to help you, even if I wanted to.”

“Why do you even want to help me?” Siel asked with an irritated tone, putting the Key Gun back to her inside pocket. “I’m not on your side.”

“But I am.”

Siel frowned. “What?”

“I side with what's right. That’s what Her Highness commanded me to do before.”

Siel looked at Elias’ eyes directly, waiting for him to say he was kidding but no. Siel can feel he was not. She sniggers.

“I didn’t know you’re loyal to her.” She blurted out and turned away.

"You know nothing about me."

“Wrong. Oh well, keep it that way.” She laughed.

“Where are you going?”

“Lavatory. I’ll wait for you outside.” She spat and walked swiftly. Good thing one lavatory was located at the back of the hotel, giving Elias a chance to finally drive away from the scene.
