My heart raced uncontrollably while I was trapped in that cold, damp cell. The loneliness that surrounded me was oppressive, the darkness seemed to swallow my thoughts, and only I was there at that time. A feeling of apprehension came over me as I tried to imagine what could happen to me, what Samuel could do.
I find myself in a state of indescribable despair and sadness. Every breath I take is an agonizing reminder of the terrible mistake I made. Regret consumes my heart and soul, casting a dark shadow over every aspect of my existence.
Looking back, I remember the relationship I had with my ex-girlfriend and professional colleague with a mixture of love, joy and pain. There were moments of happiness and complicity between us, we shared dreams and aspirations, and we worked side by side to achieve our goals. However, as time passed, our relationship began to deteriorate. Frequent arguments and bitter disagreements undermined the trust we had in each other.
At the height of my anger and frustration, I committed a thoughtless and heinous act that should never have happened. My mind was in a whirlwind of negative emotions, and my vision became distorted by accumulated resentment. In a moment of rage and uncontrollable impulse, I committed a cruel murder, taking the life of someone who was once my love and friend.
Now, as I face the terrible consequences of my actions, I am consumed by a deep, unfathomable pain. I feel overwhelmed with guilt because I know there is no justification for what I did. My ex-girlfriend deserved a future full of opportunity, joy, and the chance to come to terms with our differences. I took all of that from her irrevocably.
The reality of my crime unfolds before my eyes every night in tortuous nightmares. The image of the person I once loved and cared for is now clouded by the memory of what I became. I feel a relentless emptiness inside me, having lost not only the person I loved, but also myself.
If I could go back, if I could reverse time and make a different decision, I would do it in a heartbeat. But unfortunately, there is no undoing the past. All I can do is face the consequences of my actions, accept the punishment that awaits me and seek, within myself, the hope of a future in which I can, in some way, find redemption.
I feel completely devastated knowing that my son will be raised by strange people, especially after everything I dreamed and planned for him alongside Ravi. The idea of being separated from him is like a punch in the stomach, a deep pain that seems to have no end.
Every minute that passed seemed like an eternity, and I couldn't contain the fear that took over me. My thoughts wandered between trying to find a way out, finding the strength to fight or simply resigning myself to my sad fate. But there was something strange, an unsettling tranquility mixed with my apprehension.
The thirst became unbearable, and when I found some water in a corner of the cell, I didn't hesitate to drink it. However, little did I know that that water contained some kind of tranquilizer. Little by little, I felt my body weaken, my vision became blurred. The strength left me and the fight within me dissipated.
Samuel crept into the cell, moving like a shadow in the dark. I could have screamed, resisted, but the tranquilizer had stolen my ability to react. Desperation mixed with helplessness, while I was overcome by a feeling of complete vulnerability.
The abuse that followed was unspeakable torment. My mind screamed for help, my body begged for it all to end. His every movement, every touch, was a violation that left deep scars in my soul.
I felt betrayed by the world, by destiny, by myself. The feeling of helplessness and shame consumed me, and hope seemed like a thin, fragile thread that threatened to break at any moment.
As those terrifying moments unfolded, I desperately wished for someone to save me, for reality to turn into a nightmare from which I could wake up. But in that cold, damp cell, I was alone, trapped both physically and emotionally.
When I remember the first time Samuel touched me, I feel a mix of intense emotions that haunt me to this day. At that moment, I was an innocent child and I didn't understand why he touched me like that. I just wanted him to treat me like the loving parents I saw at school, with affection and care. But instead, he made me feel vulnerable and in pain.
The memory of this trauma is like a weight on my chest, a strange emptiness that never seems to completely disappear. The mere thought of his scent is enough to make my stomach turn. It's as if the odor is ingrained in my memories , bringing me back to those moments of anguish and agony.
Furthermore, one of the hardest things to deal with is Rô's look of disgust and anger, who witnessed it all. I felt so lost at that moment, not knowing how to react or how to seek help. And the fact that someone who should have protected and supported me looked at me this way only intensified my feeling of helplessness.
These memories are too painful to put into words, but they have shown me how strong I am for surviving this trauma. Now, I am determined to heal my wounds and find the love and respect I deserve.
- Samuel, please stop! - I beg, with a trembling voice full of distress. But he just shook his head and continued to tear off my clothes, as if my pleas meant nothing. Sweat was running down my face, my breathing was short and my heart was beating wildly.
I knew something was wrong. The pain was unbearable, beyond anything I had ever felt before. It felt like a mix of stabs and burns, leaving me on the verge of collapse. My mind was clouded, and I couldn't even articulate coherent words to express the torment I felt.
- Please, Samuel - I murmur, pushing his chest as hard as I could - Stop...!
- I know I missed that - he says between teeth, his hands feeling my entire body.
I found myself in a state of semi-consciousness, my mind clouded and my body heavy. The effect of the sedatives was still running through my veins, but even so, I could feel Samuel's presence over me. My heart raced in panic, realizing the imminent danger that surrounded me.
Although my consciousness was clouded, a fierce determination emerged from somewhere deep within me. A mixture of fear, anger and survival instinct ignited my being. I knew I needed to fight, not only for myself, but also for the little being that lived in my womb.
With superhuman effort, my partially numb muscles began to move. I pushed against Samuel, struggling to free myself from his suffocating grip. With each thrust, my body felt like it weighed tons, but I refused to give up. My hands reached for any object within reach, looking for something that could give me an advantage.
My mind was filled with frightening images, echoing the horrors Samuel had subjected me to. The violence, abuse, and imminent threat to my son's life created an inner strength that pushed me beyond my physical limitations. I knew I needed to end this hideous circle, break the chains it had placed on me.
With each movement, I felt exhaustion seep into my exhausted muscles. My vision wavered between clarity and fog, and every breath was a challenge. However, the idea that my son could be in danger gave me renewed energy. I was determined to protect him, to protect both of us, whatever the cost.
With one last effort, I released a primal scream of fury and pain. My body pulsed with adrenaline as I pushed, punched, and clawed, desperate for my freedom. Every fiber of my being rebelled against the violence that was being inflicted upon me.
I don't know how long this desperate struggle lasted. It felt like an eternity, a whirlwind of pain, fear and courage. But finally, my perseverance was rewarded. In a moment of Samuel's weakness, I managed to free myself from his prison. I fell to the floor, panting but free.
The pain and trauma would remain, like invisible scars on my soul. However, I knew I had won an important victory. I had broken the cycle of abuse, finding strength I didn't even know I possessed. And most of all, I was determined to protect my son and create a safe future for both of us.
- Get your filthy hands off her! - Samuel freezes on top of me, at the moment that voice echoes through the space between the cells.
