Epilogue

Serena’s POV.

Three months later.

Three months had passed since our escape from the darkness that had threatened to consume us, and as I sat in the warmth of the afternoon sun, a sense of peace settled over me like a comforting blanket. The lush greenery of my lawn stretched out before me, a tranquil oasis amidst the chaos of the world.

Raymond never went back to see Eliana, but somewhere he regretted his decision. He took the reign as the Mooncrest’s Alpha and took what rightfully was his. Alpha River was never exposed and I believed it was for better, and Raymond’s mother went rogue after Alpha River’s death. With one single move, his whole family was destroyed.

Step by step, Raymond was building up the pack and as the case of the disappearance of the wolves resolved there was an unspoken harmony between the pack. Max was arrested and Sharks were attacked now they were nothing haunting this town.

As I watched, a familiar figure emerged from the distance, a smile tugging at the corners of my lips as Graham made his way towards me. He looked as handsome as ever, the lines of worry that had once furrowed his brow now softened by the passage of time.

"You're looking good, Sheriff" I called out to him, unable to suppress the warmth that bubbled up within me at the sight of him.

Graham chuckled, his eyes twinkling with amusement as he reached my side. "Why, thank you, my dear," he replied, his voice laced with playful teasing. "I must say, you're not looking too bad yourself."

I rolled my eyes at his antics, but couldn't help but laugh at his irreverent charm. Leaning in, I pressed a soft kiss to his lips, savoring the familiar warmth and sweetness of his embrace.

As we shared a quiet moment together amidst the tranquility of our surroundings, I felt a sense of gratitude wash over me. Despite the trials and tribulations we had faced, we had emerged stronger and more resilient than ever before.

As we basked in the glow of our love, I knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, as long as we faced them together, hand in hand, we could overcome anything. For in each other's arms, we had found not just solace and comfort, but a love that transcended the darkness and illuminated the path towards a brighter tomorrow.

As Graham and I stepped inside the familiar warmth of our home, a sense of excitement danced in the air. I couldn't help but feel a flutter of nerves as I glanced at Graham, a mischievous smile playing at the corners of his lips.

"I have something for you," I announced, unable to contain the anticipation that bubbled up within me.

Graham's eyebrows shot up in surprise, a playful twinkle in his eyes. "Oh? Is it a naughty surprise?" he teased, his voice filled with anticipation.

I couldn't help but giggle at his suggestion, feeling a rush of affection for his playful spirit. "Well, it's somehow connected with that," I replied coyly, my cheeks flushing with warmth.

Curiosity sparked in Graham's eyes as he leaned in closer, his gaze searching mine. "Well, don't keep me in suspense," he urged. "What is it?"

Taking a deep breath, I met his gaze with a mixture of excitement and nervousness. "You're going to be a father," I blurted out, the words tumbling from my lips in a rush.

For a moment, there was silence as Graham processed my announcement, his eyes widening in shock before a joyful grin spread across his face. With a whoop of delight, he swept me up into his arms, spinning me around in a dizzying whirl of elation.

Tears pricked at the corners of my eyes as I felt his arms around me, his joy echoing my own. As we celebrated the news of our impending arrival, I felt a sense of happiness wash over me like a warm embrace.

After so many trials and hardships, it felt like a new beginning, a chance to embrace the joy and excitement that awaited us on this next chapter of our journey together. Graham held me close and I knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, as long as we faced them together, our love would be an unbreakable bond that would carry us through any storm.

The End.
