Chapter 854: Three Thousand Weak Waters and Only One Lady's Drink
Dudley clasped her slender white wrist and pressed it against the wall, his low voice over her ear with a touch of youthful urgency, "Silvia, don't move."
When he told her not to move, Silvia moved even more, "Dudley, you are despicable, let go of me now! Don't touch me with your hands!"
Dudley's cold black eyes were tinged with the scarlet of lust, nothing in this world could make him lose his mind, except this girl in his arms, she could easily make him lose control.
He adjusted his breathing, but he couldn't, his blood was boiling, every cell was screaming - take her! Might as well have her!
Dudley wrapped his arms around her slender waist and pressed her tightly into his embrace, his thin lips moving up to kiss her little cheeks.
Soon, he tasted wetness, tears.
Dudley's cold, burning body stiffened and he looked up to see a few teardrops on Silvia's delicate, dusty face, her bright, bent pupils already blurred with tears.
She was crying.
Dudley's disorientated mind snapped awake, and his whole body felt like it had been pelted with cold water; he didn't know what he was doing now.
He had just let his greed and lust go, and had bullied her into tears.
Such a self made him all deeply unashamed.
Silvia, her eyes red and her little nose red, pushed both hands against him and kept pushing out, "Dudley, you go away, I don't want to see you again, I hate you!"
She said - I hate you!
Dudley panicked a little, this was the girl he loved most, he lifted his clean fingers and tried to wipe her tears, "Silvia, I'm sorry, I... I..."
The two bodies were still leaning together when Silvia felt something hot and hard touch her, her pupils fluttered and she lifted her watery eyes to look at him in shock and anger.
She was no longer a young girl who knew nothing, she had had three children and she knew what it was.
How dare he!
Dudley was quick to realise this too, and a lighter shade of red instantly appeared on the banks of his fair and handsome face, his whole body quickly releasing her as if he had been electrocuted, pulling away from each other.
Slipping his right hand into his trouser pocket, he turned around and walked away.
Silvia looked at his back. At 27, Dudley had lost his flamboyant appearance and now looked a little more youthful.
It was very much like... running away.
"Dudley, I promise you, I'll marry you tomorrow, but you have to give me back Mr Aldred." Silvia exclaimed.
Dudley took a step, and after a few seconds, "Okay."
He left.
...
Dudley walked out of the room, the cold breeze from outside brushing against his handsome face and blowing away the heat from his body.
At that moment someone walked up ahead of him, it was Codling.
Codling looked at Dudley and gave a greeting, "Dr Hadwin."
Dudley had little ripple of emotion, he gave a faint nod and walked away.
The maid whispered, "Miss, this Dr Hadwin actually walked out of the Loulan Ancient Kingdom Princess' room, big brother just died and Dr Hadwin can't wait to take over his own big brother's woman, I think he is a beast in clothes, Miss, you'd better stay away from such people!"
Codling looked in the direction where Dudley had disappeared, "What are you afraid of?"
"Miss, of course I'm afraid that Dr Hadwin will bully you!"
Codling curved her red lips into a faint and sarcastic arc, "Don't worry, Dr Hadwin has no interest in me, there are three thousand weak waters in this world, he only takes one scoop in this life."
...
The wedding day arrived and Silvia was at the mercy of the crowd, dressed in her custom-made cape with a red cover over her head.
The bride walked in happily, "Bride, the auspicious time has arrived, we are going to pay our respects."
Silvia did not resist as the bridesmaid pulled the red rope and led her out.
"Wait a minute, the bride's dress needs to be straightened." At this point a little maid ran over and straightened Silvia's skirt.
Soon a note was surreptitiously slipped into Silvia's hand.
This little maid...
Silvia shuddered, she knew that her people were coming.
The ancient kingdom of Loulan had come to take her back.
Silvia had held her ground for the past few days, for she was now in the castle, her freedom restricted, and if she acted rashly, innocent people would surely be sacrificed.
She had agreed to the big wedding under false pretenses because the wedding was so loud that it would surely reach the ears of the people of Loulango, and with the wedding guests gathered, she could take advantage of the chaos to leave, and tonight was the perfect opportunity to do so.
She was going to take Mr Aldred and go back to Loulan!
So Silvia had waited, and now, she had waited.
Silvia tucked the note away in her sleeve and followed the bride out.
Outside, the sound of the gong was loud, and all was formal red, and Dudley stood there in all his glory.
At that moment Amos, his beloved, came over and whispered in his ear, "My lord, the Loulan kingdom is here and has just handed a note to Miss Silvia, who will be leaving tonight."
Dudley heard it, but his handsome face was unruffled and clearly not surprised that he had guessed it.
How intelligent could she be, how could she be at his mercy?
She didn't want to stay by his side and would surely leave.
This big wedding, for her, was a sham.
"Groomsmen, the bride is here!"
Dudley looked up and saw at once Silvia, led out by the bride.
She was dressed in a phoenix crown and cape, standing in the swaying beads of light with a gorgeous breeze.
Dudley's cold black eyes slowly overflowed with warm tenderness, this wedding was fake for her, but for him, it was real.
"The auspicious time has come to worship!"
Dudley and Silvia stood together as someone shouted, "Once more to heaven and earth!"
Dudley and Silvia worshipped together.
"Two worship!"
Wilfrid sipped his coffee with joy.
"Husband and wife worship!"
Dudley and Silvia faced each other and worshipped.
"The ceremony is complete, send them into the bridal chamber!"
Silvia was led down again by the bride and escorted into the wedding room.
...
In the bridal chamber, Silvia sat on the edge of the bed as the bridesmaid said, "Bride, the groom's husband will be outside entertaining distinguished guests, so wait for a while and uncover your red head when the groom arrives."
Silvia didn't hear what the bride was saying as she quietly opened the note, which read - "By the banks of the Luo Shui River, welcome home the Queen.
Her people were on the banks of the Rocky River.
At that moment there was a "creak" and the door to the wedding room was pushed open and the bride laughed, "How come the groomsmen are here so soon, this is definitely the fastest groomsmen I've ever seen come, I'm afraid the groomsmen can't wait to unveil the bride's red head."
Here comes Dudley.
Amidst the teasing of the bridesmaids, Dudley stepped forward and came to Silvia's face.
