Chapter 844: Silvia, let me take you away
Dudley had a birthday present for her.
Silvia got up quickly, "Okay, I'll come out now."
Silvia got out of bed and walked out.
She didn't know what this birthday present was, but she was grateful for all that Dudley had done for her during this time, and although she considered Dudley a true friend, she didn't want to get Dudley involved, so she had to go soon.
Silvia walked out of the cottage and onto the lawn, where she soon came to a sudden stop in her tracks.
For ahead of her she saw a tall, handsome figure, so familiar.
Familiar to the bone.
Silvia's clear pupils shrank abruptly and she was shaken straight to the spot, Aldred!
No, to be precise, it was now Aldred, who had returned to the royal family.
Silvia had not expected to see him here, an unbridgeable gulf between him and her, and he had suddenly appeared before her eyes.
Only a short time ago, she had wished that her 24th birthday wish would be to meet him.
Now that birthday wish had come true.
Aldred stood tall and leggy by the door of the limousine, the bright light gilding him from behind.
With one hand plunged into his trouser pocket, he was smoking a cigarette in the two fingers of one slender hand, swallowing a cloud of smoke.
All at once, the four eyes met.
Aldred drew himself up on long legs and stopped in front of her.
Silvia's delicate white fingers curled slightly at her side, "Mr Aldred, it's been a long time."
She gave a dry greeting.
Aldred took a drag from his cigarette and then curved his thin lips into a doting curve as he responded, "Mmm."
Silvia didn't know what else to say.
That's when Aldred eased a puff of smoke from his mouth onto her small face.
It avoided her mouth and nose, but the strong smell of tobacco made Silvia's small, palm-sized face burn quickly.
He was doing it on purpose, wasn't he?
Silvia bit her red lips with her fine white teeth, "I'll leave you to it then."
Aldred looked at her, her lower lip losing its delicate colour as soon as she bit it, his eyes deepened before he nodded, "Eh."
Silvia turned and left.
She was gone.
And doesn't know where to go.
Her heart is sad, like an empty piece, Silvia's white eyes inexplicably slowly turn red, suddenly thinking that she has turned 24 years old this year.
Silvia remembered that she had come to H City from the countryside at the age of 19, when she had met him from the imperial capital.
Time had passed in a flash.
At that moment she heard a steady footstep behind her and he followed her.
Aldred followed her all the way.
He had followed her when she had left.
Only she had her little head down the whole way, wondering what she was thinking.
He stopped behind her, the cigarette burning out at his fingertips, and he stubbed out the butt in the bin.
Now Silvia was in front and he was behind.
He looked at her figure with his hands in his trouser pockets. Today she was wearing a nude pink dress, her long, innocent hair resting casually on her small, glistening shoulders, a pair of small white shoes on her feet, her whole figure intertwined in innocence with a touch of softness.
Over the years, time had slowly sunk into her body and made her more and more attractive.
Silvia knew he was looking at her.
The two of them did not say a word, but their empty hearts slowly filled up again, warmed.
...
After leaving the villa, Silvia stood in the street and called a taxi.
The taxi stopped and she reached for the back door, but a large, well-defined palm came forward and pulled it open before she did.
She got in, followed by a sinking of the seat beside her, and he got in too.
The driver in front of her asked, "Sir, miss, where are you going?"
She did not speak.
His low, magnetic voice rang in her ears, "A casual detour."
"Okay."
The taxi started up and the cool, soothing evening breeze blew in, ruffling Silvia's long hair.
She looked out of the window at the bright neon lights of the city, and for the first time in years, he had travelled in a limited edition luxury car.
Aldred felt a slight tickle on his handsome cheeks as the cool breeze ruffled her hair, a few strands of her hair tangled in his face and the fresh scent of her hair could be faintly detected in his nostrils.
"Sit tight."
At this point the driver in front of him warned, hitting the steering wheel as the taxi made a quick turn.
Silvia didn't sit still, and as a result of her inertia, she fell backwards into the man beside her.
At that moment a strong arm came up and wrapped itself around her waist, naturally pulling her into his arms.
She raised her bright, clear eyes to look at him as his palm cupped her soft cheek and he kissed her down.
Her mouth, her senses, were instantly filled with the taste of his body.
Red lips pouted deeply as he slowly but firmly pried her teeth open and hooked her in a dance.
She felt it.
Felt his thoughts like a tidal wave.
Silvia reached out and wrapped her two small arms around his lean waist, the dense comb of feathered jets gently converging as she closed her eyes.
This night, her 24th birthday, in the taxi, she nestled in his warm, wide arms and kissed him wantonly and lovingly.
...
The taxi stopped and Silvia pulled open the back door, "Mr Aldred, don't you come down, I'm going to watch you go."
Aldred reached out and cupped her little face with his palm, softly saying, "Okay."
Silvia stood outside and waved her little hand.
Aldred glanced at the driver, "Drive."
"Yes, sir."
The driver stepped on the accelerator and the taxi sped off.
The car drove away and Aldred looked through the rear view mirror, she was still standing there, eyeing him.
Little by little her slender figure moved away, scattered, and disappeared from his sight.
Two large, well-defined palms tugged into fists, and it took all his strength not to turn back.
In fact he wanted to say to her - Silvia, come with me, let me take you away.
Never mind the ancient kingdom of Loulan, never mind Spain, none of that had anything to do with them, they could go and settle in a place free of strife, and he could protect her and give her a lifetime of favour and never be parted again.
But, in the end, he said nothing.
For, he could not.
He knew she had too many responsibilities and missions, and he knew what she wanted to do, and he could only let her go and let her do what she was supposed to do.
At that moment a series of mellifluous mobile phone rings, a call from... Dudley.
Aldred frowned slightly as he watched the name 'Dudley' jump on the screen, knowing that his brother, who had no idea what he was in love with, was in love with him.
