CH.92:"BEGINNING"
HARRY'S POV
It has been two months since the On The Road Again: Backstage Access World Premiere in UK and in America. We were all glad that the people accepted the movie with such overwhelming positive feedbacks. It was amazing how we were getting really wonderful critics.
Lindy has been busy adjusting herself to college and how things are also going well for her. Our communication is stronger now than before despite the hectic schedule that we both have and the distance. I was pretty much doing a lot of promotions too especially for our upcoming tour in January 2016 which is called THE A. M TOUR shorter term for The After Math Tour.
I have been making trips back and forth from London to New Haven Connecticut to visit Lindy as much as I can because I want to spend more time with her. Gemma visits with me too since she wanted to get to know Lindy more and she has been very supportive of my relationship with her. I have been planning to introduce Lindy to our mum and I will do that once we get a freer time from her classes and my work when we go to Cheshire to visit my mom.
It has been a five weeks since I have seen Lindy and I have been very much excited to see her again. She's been letting her hair grow these past few days and I have been looking forward the entire time to be with her again. I can't wait to spend more time with her and just enjoy a few days off with her while I get busy again with my schedule.
Lindy has no idea that I am back in Connecticut and I havent really informed her about this since I wanted to surrprise her. She has been wanting to see me again and I told her I wouldn't be able to spend with her on her birthday because I will be deadly busy though I have already cleared my schedule for her.
Yes, I'm back in America for her.
I drove my way to Yale University to surprise her on her 18th birthday. She told me that she didn't have any plans and wanted to stay in her dorm the rest of the night. I would not want my own girlfriend to celebrate her 18th birthday alone in her dorm watching movies. Moreover, this is her first birthday that she will celebrate with me and it needs to be special. I need to make it more special and memorable.
I parked my car right around Yale University and saw some really good-looking guys around who could potentially take Lindy away from me. I dismissed the thought in my head to avoid unneccessary thoughts which could ruin our day. I put on my shades and looked around careful not to be seen, but the paps still managed to see me and the students who were around started snapping photos of me. They began to rush to my side and politely asked for some photos.
I grabbed my phone and called Lindy while I was being swarmed with girls who wants to take photos so I nicely smiled for them.
"Harry you're looking so good today." A fan tells me.
"Thank you so much. You're looking fine too." I replied.
"I love your top!"
"Thanks!"
"Is that Gucci?"
I laughed under my breath, "Yeah. It is."
"Hey baby." Lindy greeted over the phone while I was smiling for the camera from the fan.
"Thank you Harry!"
"You're welcome." I responded to the fan before I focused my attenion on Lindy. "Hey birthday girl."
I heard her giggle softly and it still gets me. "Did you receive the flowers?" I asked.
"The pink and yellow tulips are beautiful babe. Thank you." She responded.
I smiled. "I am glad it came on the perfect day."
"Harry! Let's take a picture please." One girl yelled from my side.
"Who was that?" Lindy asked.
"A fan who wants to take a photo. Just a second babe. This will be quick, I promise." I tell Lindy before I smiled for the camera. I signed some autographs and smiled for more cameras as I started walking around, looking for Lindy.
"I'm jealous how these women can spend time with you on my birthday." I hear Lindy.
I smile, "Awe, don't be sad baby. And, don't be jealous too. You know it would make you feel bad that I was not able to come to Connecticut to see you."
"It's fine, Harry. I know you're really busy." She sounded understanding but I know she's sad and I can't wait until I see her. "We can always celebrate late."
"I know baby, I'm sorry." I kept walking around the school ground which was enormous. "Where are you by the way?" I asked as I kept looking around for her.
"In school." She answers innocently. "I just got off my class. Why?"
"No." I disagreed as I kept looking for her and mistaking every brunette I see around here. A few women were waving at me and seemed a little flirting but I politely smiled as I kept searching for Lindy. "I mean like where are you exact--" I trailed as my lips forms into a smile.
"Never mind." I added.
"Babe, I don't know what you are talking about." She answers.
I watch her from a distance as she was talking to two of her new friends with the bouquet of tulips on her arm and that necklace I gave her which reflected from the sunlight. She was smiling and looked very happy and looked tremendously beautiful. The wind was blowing through her brown hair and her smile that I have terribly missed so damn much.
"Are you going somewhere today with your friends?" I ask as I tried to cross path with her.
"Actually, my friends wanted to me to go out and have fun but I don't think I will. I mean, you promised me we will watch a movie together tonight over Skype, remember?" She sounded happy and excited for it.
"Yeah, I remember." I answered as I was mezmerized by her staring at her from a distance.
She paused and frowned, "You forgot did you?"
I paused and realized that I was not catching up with what we were talking about since I was mezmerized by her beauty. "I'm sorry what were we talking about babe?"
"Our movie date? Tonight?"
I stare at her from afar at how adorable she looks when she frowns like that. She stares at her feet with sad eyes and looked insanely cute that I feel bad for even not listening. Of course, I didn't forget that I promised her we would watch a movie together via Skype.
"You forgot, didn't you?" She asks.
"No, I didn't. How could I forget?"
She smiles instantly." You swear to God you didn't?"
"I swear to God I didn't."
She smiles happily as she chases her two friends. "Good because I have decided what to watch tonight." She sounded excited and it makes me smile just staring at her and how I affect her so quickly. "And it's something that you have not seen before."
"It's all up on you birthday girl." I teased.
"I have bought a wine tonight." She tells me.
I begin to walk sneakily. "You're beautiful with that floral top baby."
She stared at herself then started looking around her, trying to look for me. Her eyes had so much anticipation building as soon as she realized that I was around. I smile as I continued to hide.
"How'd you know?" She asked.
"And I'm glad you've met new friends aside from Martha." I added.
She kept looking and moving her head around. "Harry." Her voice sounded stern. "Where are you?" She asks curiously while she looks from behind her then to her sides.
"Are you here?" She asked.
I smile as I finally stand a little bit far from her, "I'm just right across you."
She stopped and faced instantly at my direction. She was quite far from me but I could see her smile growing bigger as she stares at me. Lindy begins to rush towards me ending our call and I walked towards her to meet her halfway. She jumps onto my chest as soon as I got close to her and was all smiles when she saw me. It made me laugh how I see her so happy and I hugged my arms around her as I kiss her cheek.
We peeled ourselves away from each other and her eyes was glimmering. "You're here."
"Hi babe." I greeted.
"You're here. You're really here. I don't believe this." She cups my faes and she always does that every time she sees me again and I am really getting used to it..
She wrapped her arms around me again and we hug again as her friends finally approached us. I pulled myself away from her and gave her a peck on the cheek. "Happy birthday." I said softly.
"Thank you." She says. "You said you can't come today."
"I lied, I had to surprise you."
She smiles at me so beautifully. "You cheeky bastard."
I lean in to kiss her lips and it felt igniting.
She pulled herself away from my lips even if I wanted more of her kiss, "By the way, this is Lauren and this is Fiona. Girls, meet Harry. My boyfriend." Lindy introduced.
"Oh my goodness. Hi Harry!" Lauren waved.
"I can't believe it! Hi Harry! I'm a huge fan!" Fiona exclaimed.
"Oh my goodness! You're so handsome Harry!!" Lauren added while fanning herself.
Lindy giggles, "They're huge fans of you and the lads."
I smiled and exchanged handshake, "Thank you so much. It's nice to meet you. Will it be alright if I get to take my girlfriend with me?"
"Oh sure! Have fun Lindy!" Lauren and Fiona waves goodbye as they began to leave us.
I scoop her closer to me and she smiles, "Now that I've got you all to myself, where do you wanna eat my beautiful?"
"Anywhere with you is fine." She answered me while flashing her beautiful smile.
I reached for her hand and started walking towards my car. There were a few students who waved at me and I was being kind as I waved back. Lindy and I were holding hands until we reached the car and as soon as we settled in, I started the engine and began to drive away.
"What do you think about Paris?" I asked.
She paused. "I think it's a very lovely place."
I nod. "Well I hope you bags are packed."
Lindy turns to me instantly, "Don't tell me we're--"
I nodded at her before she could continue what she was about to say and she happily shrieks inside the car which made me laugh. "You're serious?" she asked, with bewildered eyes.
"I am. We have our flight tonight. You don't got a class tomorrow right?" I assured.
"I don't have a class tomorrow."
"Good." I commented as I moved closer to her ear and whispered, "Because I have so many things to do to you on Paris."
I grinned while pulling myself away from her and she is already smiling at me.
I didn't want to be in a committed to anyone before and it has always been nice to get out of something which does not really have any label. I didn't like labels but she came into my life in the most unexpected way it would happen and she changed my perspective about love.
Right now, as of this very moment I'm crazy and madly in love with her.
Every time she smiles at me and laugh at my corniest knock knock jokes, I fall in love with her over and over again. Every time she tries to make a better knock knock than me, she makes me feel like she's the missing half of me and it's just crazy to be saying all these. Every time those gray eyes stare back at me, it always feels like the first I met her, that same feeling when I first laid my eyes on her at the meet and greet. She makes me feel like home.
Now, this feels like a happily ever after. At least for now,
Later that night, she enjoyed our private dinner at the rooftop of a restaurant that I closed exclusively for us. It was not much since we usually get these crazy VIP treatments and I kind of used it so we can have some alone time with each other. I wanted the place all to ourselves because it was her birthday and I didn't want anyone else there to disturb us. No fans that will come to our table for an autograph or a picture together. No paps and reporters.
There was a prompter in front of us and showed her the recorded video of the lads greeting her a happy birthday. Louis' was the noisiest and felt more sweetest since he's always been so brotherly with Lindy ever since and I kind of find it really nice of him.
"I have something for you." I pulled out a small red paper bag near my feet.
I handed it in front of her and she stares at me eagerly. Confused.
"Happy birthday babe." I greeted her again.
"Harry you didn't really have to. I mean a trip to Paris is more than enough and--"
"I just want what's best for you. Go on. Open it." I smiled.
She started opening the red paper bag and pulled out a silver box. She gazed at me before she starts opening it. Her eyes flared and her lips forms into a smile, "Harry it's so beautiful!" She chimed happily.
I stood from my seat and went behind her as I bend over to lean closer to her ear, "I haven't seen you wearing any earrings so I bought that for you. It's actually customized so you're the only one wearing that."
"Customized?" She asks.
I nodded. "I designed it to your liking. I hope you like it."
She pulls her head away and kissed my cheek. "I love it. Thank you."
After having dinner we went to the airport and finally settled inside my private airplane, I noticed that Lindy had been really quiet after dinner and I know something must be bugging her. I walked to her after fixing our bags and sat down close to her to study her face. She slightly smiles at me as I hear the pilot talking over the intercom.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
She moves her head sideways and looked outside the window. "There's nothing wrong."
"Hey." I held her chin and made her look at me again. "Something is bugging you, I know it."
She laughs, trying to laugh. "You're being paranoid."
I squint my eyes as I hold her cheek gently with my hands and stare into her eyes. She laughs at me, "What are you doing?" She questions.
"Your eyes are lying."
She holds my cheek with her hand too and squeezes it making my lips protrude, "I am fine."
"Are you sure?"
She nods.
I let go of her face as she kiss my cheek while I pushed her hair behind her ear and she just stares at me blankly. I know there is something wrong and she is not wanting to tell me. We took off and the entire time we rode the plane, Lindy was jsut awfully quiet and stares at the distant.
"Harry?"
I turn to her, "Yes babe?"
"I really need to tell this to you." She tells me, finally getting to her senses to tell me about what's going on. "
"So you are finaly going to tell me what's going on in your head?"
She sighs heavily and looked like it could be something serious. I worried, "Why? What's wrong?"
"I've promised myself to tell this to you once I'll see you again and now that you're here, I...." She got really quiet and my heart was beating in my chest. She looks so serious and I know she wasn't fooling around. I was starting to feel tensed, for no reason at all.
"You?" I asked.
"I need to tell you this because you have the right to know."
My brows creasing, "Did you cheat on me?"
Her eyes squinting, "What? NO. Never."
"Well, you're getting me really pretty intense."
"I just don't know how to say it but...." She trailed and looked confused with what she was gonna say. Her eyes staring at the ground and then moves back at me. "But hundred percent I didn't cheat on you. I could never do that."
I take her hand and kiss it, "Baby I know."
She blinks at me.
"But what?" I asked.
She went extremely quiet for a few seconds and just stared back at me impassively with no words. I can feel my palms sweating because she has ever had this serious look before.
"That looks some really serious shit going on in there." I tell her to make her laugh but she didn't.
She took a deep breath and exhaled deeply.
"I'm pregnant Harry."
My eyes widened out and I wanted her to say it again to me just to make sure because I was utterly surprised for a second. She said it so quickly maybe in panic and nervousness. I know what I heard but I just couldn't believe it if it's what she really said. I was just staring at her impassively and she didn't seem to speak too. We were just staring at each other.
"You're pregnant?" I asked softly as I leaned to her close.
She nods, confirming it. "Five weeks."
