The next day, I woke up early to go to work and try to look for some intelligent business owner to propose marriage to. I think it's kind of hard that someone wants to marry me in less than a month without knowing me, but as this world today is very crazy, men and women only think about money, I think it won't be difficult.

I grab my keys and walk to my car.

After arriving at the company, my secretary calls me, her office is next to mine.

Mariana is beautiful, no doubt, and thank God I got a very efficient secretary in her job; she is the hardest working secretary I have ever met.

She is a great woman, no doubt, but it is forbidden for an employee to get romantically involved with her boss, so nothing has ever happened between us, a pity.

She comes into my office with her formal clothes very tight to the body, what a delightful woman. I try to quiet my thoughts with the woman in front of me and just fake a forced smile.

She sits down in front of me and says, nice as always.

“ Sir, we have an opening for a designer in the company, as you requested. We have one person interested in that position, may I read her resume?”

I nod to her and Mariana continues.

“ Well! Her name is Carla, she's 25 years old, she has a degree in advanced design. She has a 3-year-old daughter, lives alone with the girl, is responsible, determined and a fast learner. The candidate has attached several projects done by her and, so that we can know her work, I will send them to your e-mail. If you like, I'll set up an interview with her, OK?”

“ Very well, Mariana, thank you very much for now. I'll wait for your e-mail. Get me a strong coffee and some toast, and clear my schedule. Then check with the stylist André if everything is OK for tomorrow, OK? That's all for now, thank you.”

She nods to me, smiling, and leaves my room.

I hear a beep from my laptop and I get Miss Carla's resume and her designs, and literally she is fantastic, she is very talented. She will simply enhance the company with a beautiful and feminine design, everything our company needs. I must interview this girl right now.

I call Mariana, who answers on the second ring.

“ Sir?”

“ Mariana, call Carla and ask her to come to the company in one hour, I will interview her myself, OK? Get back to me as soon as you talk to her, that's all. Oh, and don't forget my coffee.”

I hope this girl comes today, she can improve the company even more.

I recently dropped my daughter off at school, it's half past eight in the morning and I'm dying of sleep; looking after a house, a daughter and also looking for a job has exhausted me, but being a mother is just like that, you never stop. Now I understand my mother.

I laugh at this thought and get up, go to the table and have a latte, it's delicious.

I look at the screen and it's an unknown number, I decide to answer and a female voice says.

“ Good morning, Miss Carla, I saw that you sent a curriculum to Emporio Glamour. I'm Mariana, Juan's secretary. Do you have a minute, miss?”

I move restlessly on the sofa, I can't believe they are going to interview me, this is too much. I answer her all happy, but keeping my posture.

“ Yes, of course, Mariana.”

” So Mr. Juan, the owner of the company, wants to interview you in an hour, could you come?”

An interview today? How wonderful! I have been blessed, that's what it must be.

“ Sure, I'll be there.”

“ Do you know the address?”

“ Yes, I do.”

” Okay, I'll be waiting for you on the second floor in the lobby, okay?”

“ Okay, thank you very much.”

“ See you in a bit, miss, for nothing.”

I hang up the phone and I'm so happy. God, this is great, perfect. I'm so happy.

I start to get ready quickly.
