Chapter 13

l immediately went back to my room after the drama at the cafeteria. l could hardly believe what l had done. My dad is probably super proud of me wherever he is. l had taught those boys a lesson and they deserved it. l was so tired of people walking all over me and l was not going to stand for it any longer.

"You look much worse than l do" Ali said as soon as l entered but l ignored her. "What happened to you"she asked just as l was about to walk away. "So now you want to talk to me" l asked raising my eyebrows at her. "l was just trying to talk to you but if you don't want to talk to me you can just say so" she snapped and l rolled my eyes. "So we only talk on your terms" l asked.

"Whatever "she said going to her room and l did the same. Today wasn't my day, nothing went my way and l was annoyed at everything and everyone.

l woke up to the sound of crying and moaning and l groaned. "Great now she's having sex just to annoy me". l tried to ignore the disgusting sounds but it sounded like someone was crying in pain while the other person was groaning. Due to my curiosity and my stupidity l sneakingly left my room and approached Ali's room to see what was going on.

My heart dropped when l saw a man holding a naked Ali down ,forcing her to blow him while she was crying, l didn't take time to think it over l barged in and tried to pull her away from him but l was weak towards him. He held my arm and his fingers tightened around it.

"Wow you're even more beautiful "he said pulling my whole body towards him and l churned with disgust. His hands roamed through my whole body, he touched my breast, stomach ,core and l shivered in disgust when he started licking my ear. Ali was crying slumped up in a feral position.

l wanted to scream when he started undress me but the fear had rendered me speechless and it spread through my whole body to a point that l couldn't even move.

l shut my eyes when l felt a finger start penetrating me. This couldn't be happening to me. The pain was unbearable and it wasn't only physical but emotional as well. "l didn't think l would get to fuck a virgin today, my luck "he smiled through my skin and my mind went blank until l heard him scream in pain.

Ali was standing there looking down at him with blood on her hands and when l looked down. The man was bleeding with a knife stuck in his legs. "Bitch" he crooked out trying to pull the knife out but Ali drove it deeper into his leg.

First a tear of sorrow fell from my eyes and then anger took over. l started kicking him and he tried to hold my legs but the pain he was feeling on his leg probably made him weak and l took advantage of it. Ali joined me as well ,we kicked him until he stopped moving.

"What have we done" Ali asked looking at his unmoving body. "H-he's n-not dead right?" l asked her.

"He c-can't be" she cried moving to check his pulse but the look she gave me when she did told me everything.

"No no no" l cried slumping towards the wall.

"l didn't mean, we didn't mean to" she said looking just as frazzled as l did.

"We have to call the police "l said standing up to look for a phone and l found Ali's phone under her bed but when l started dialing she ripped it from my hands.

"l don't want to go to jail" she said pacing around.

"It was self defense Ali" l held her by her shoulders but she kept mumbling to herself. l get that Ali is scared but so was l. We were clearly doomed and there was nothing we could do to escape this reality.

"You don't understand "she said looking at me with terror written all over her face.

"Help me understand then" l said

"He is Killian's cousin and you know now powerful Kill's father is, he won't rest until we rot in jail" Just my luck l guess, l killed the cousin of the man l was falling for.

"No" l whimpered.

"Listen to me, l'll call my dad and he'll tell us what to do" she said and l just nodded.

As l sat on top of Ali's bed l could only think about we had done.

We killed a man. We are murderers
