Chapter 16
"What the hell!" She blurted out in shock, forgetting that as far as everyone knew her, she was a decent girl who didn't use such words.
"Lucas, what just happened? What did I see?" Lucia, added in complete shock.
Tanya's eyes then widened in fear, as she panicked wondering what she had just done.
Lucas took a step closer, his eyes blazing with intensity. She tried to back away, but her feet seemed rooted to the spot.
Lucas's hand shot out, his fingers wrapping around Tanya's neck. For a moment, Tanya thought she was doomed.
But then, something strange happened. As soon as Lucas's skin made contact with Tanya's, his entire demeanor changed. His eyes lost their fierce glint, and his grip on Tanya's neck relaxed.
He looked...calm. Almost serene.
He then let go of Tanya's neck, before casually walking to a couch and sitting on it.
Tanya let out a deep breath she didn't know she was holding.
"Lucas what are you doing? What's wrong? Why did she slap you. Say something!" Lucia who was still standing by the door, kept throwing questions.
Lucas then faced her, ignoring all her questions by saying, "Why did you use curse words? Since when did you start using such language?"
Lucia gulped, "Lucas that isn't important right now, what's important is the reason why a common thief would sl..."
"Answer me!" Lucas said, cutting her short and she flinched.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean it, it just slipped out of my tongue." She said, her gaze still on Tanya.
Lucas gave her a stern gaze, "You better don't use such words again. Else I won't take it lightly with you. Now leave."
Lucia turned her gaze swiftly to him, "Huh? I came here to talk, and I also need answers as to why she sl..."
"Lucia! I don't want to repeat myself!" Lucas said,
Lucia's eyes widened, and she took a step back, clearly intimidated by Lucas's tone. "O-okay, I'm sorry," she stuttered, before turning and hurrying out of the room, but not without glaring at Tanya.
As the door closed behind Lucia, Lucas turned his attention to Tanya, who was still standing frozen in place. "You," he said, his voice low and husky. "Come here."
Tanya's eyes darted nervously to the door, as if hoping to make a quick escape. But then, she seemed to think better of it, and slowly began to walk towards Lucas.
As she approached, Lucas's eyes never left hers, his gaze burning with an intensity that made Tanya's heart skip a beat. When she finally reached him, he reached out and grasped her wrist, his fingers wrapping around it like a vice, as he stood up.
Lucas's eyes burned with an intense gaze as he pulled Tanya closer. "You're not going anywhere from now henceforth," he whispered, his voice low and husky. "You're going to stay with me forever. You're stuck with me."
Tanya's eyes widened in alarm as she tried to struggle free, but Lucas's grip only tightened. "W-why?" she stammered.
Lucas's gaze seemed to bore into her soul. "Because you're the only one who can calm the storm inside my head," he said, his voice a bit possessive. "You're the only one who can make the pain go away, Ladrocinta (Little thief)."
Tanya's stood speechless and confused, what was he talking about? What pain, could she make go away?
At that moment, they stood in that position, Lucas grasp still on her wrist as she looked away, just then tears began forming at her eyes.
She looked at Lucas for a few second, who looked so calm before quickly looking away, not wanting to make eye contact as per the rules.
"At least even if I'm stuck with you, I wanna make one request." Tanya said, and at that moment he suddenly frowned, as if Tanya's words brought him back to reality.
He let go of her, and moved away, smoothening his clothes, and replacing the calm expression on his face with a scowl.
He sneered at her, "What could a thief like you, possibly want?" He asked, her and she sighed before speaking.

NEXT DAY*
Lily took a mirror making herself up in class. The reason was because Tyler had asked her to meet him at the cafeteria.
"Common Lily don't tell me it's because you're meeting up with Tyler, that you're applying make up." Lila rolled her eyes, and Lily chuckled.
"You wouldn't understand cause you don't have a heart. By the time you do, and get someone, who you love, you're gonna try your possible best to look good for him." Lily said, with a wink, while applying pink lip gloss.
Lila shot her a playful glare, "Who are you calling heartless?" She asked.
"You, sweetie pie, of course." Lily said, as she took her phone and ran out of the class before Lila could react.
Lila chuckled, before bringing out her phone.
She had on a huge grin, as she made her way to the cafeteria, feeling like a queen with eachstep.
Imagining your long time crush, finally noticing you?
How awesome could that be!
Taking the last turn, she got into the cafeteria and saw Tyler waving at her.
She smiled, and hurriedly made her way towards him.
As Lila approached Tyler, she couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nervousness. She had been crushing on him for what felt like an eternity, and the fact that he had finally noticed her was almost too much to handle.
