Alphonce walked swiftly after spotting the woman seated near the counter. He smiled, sensing this was his moment. He moved gracefully toward the seat where Monalisa sat, her phone in hand and an expensive drink in front of her. She was deeply engrossed in her phone, and what she was looking at caused Alphonce to freeze, as if struck by a sudden shock.
On the screen, he saw the woman looking at a photo that unmistakably featured both herself and Jason, with tears streaming down her face. Though the tears were not easily noticeable to the average person, Alphonce realized that she was crying. Her tears didn’t particularly surprise him, as he assumed she had been hurt, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity for him to approach her. However, seeing someone who resembled Jason on her phone was what truly caught him off guard.
He thought he might be mistaken, but he knew Jason well, as they were close friends. Alphonce moved to a nearby area where a waiter was stationed, ordered his drink, and tried calling Jason to ask about what he had just seen. However, Jason’s phone was completely unreachable, and Alphonce received only polite responses from the staff who answered the call.
Feeling unsettled, Alphonce decided to put his plans on hold. He resolved to follow the woman to understand her connection to Jason. He positioned himself in a corner, watching her until nightfall, but saw nothing out of the ordinary, just the woman stepping outside briefly and then returning.
One incident that startled Alphonce occurred later that night as the club became more crowded. A young man approached the woman and started touching her inappropriately, prompting Alphonce to stand up, ready to intervene before the situation escalated. To his surprise, the young man’s arm, which had been touching Monalisa, was suddenly twisted and bent backwards as if it were a piece of sugarcane, while she remained calmly seated.
The young man’s cries drew the attention of his friends, who approached Monalisa with bottles in hand, ready to teach her a lesson for daring to assault their boss. Alphonce hesitated when he heard the woman speak.
"I don’t need to kill anyone, so leave me alone. If anyone touches even a strand of my hair, I will cut off the hand that does it," she said with unwavering confidence.
This made Alphonce take out his pen, which wasn’t just a regular pen but one of his weapons, a tool that could end someone’s life with a single stroke across the neck. He witnessed something that left him in awe and fear of this woman.
As Alphonce stood in shock, eager to see what the woman would do next, one of the men holding a bottle in his hand swung it down forcefully, aiming for Monalisa’s head. Without even looking, Monalisa instinctively sensed the incoming bottle, executing a flawless flip from her seat just in time, causing the bottle to crash into the table instead.
The young man who had thrown the bottle, now holding only a small shard of glass, tried to turn around. But before he could, Monalisa swiftly drew a knife, disguised as an accessory, from her pocket and slashed the young man's arm from the palm to the shoulder, leaving it mangled like sliced roast meat, terrifying his companions.
"Dear God, if these two are really together, this could be disastrous. If Jason is like that and this woman is like this, I can't imagine what kind of creature would be born from them. I pray to God it’s not true," Alphonce thought to himself, horrified by what he had just witnessed. He desperately hoped that this woman wasn’t Jason’s fiancée.
Monalisa, filled with rage, responded fiercely to the men who had assumed she was a prostitute, a grave mistake on their part. The young man, whom they likely thought would be spared, was swiftly dealt with as Monalisa’s knife sliced through his throat, killing him instantly. Panic spread throughout the club, and the few patrons inside began to flee in terror, shouting as they ran, including the waitstaff who tried to escape. However, Alphonce quickly blocked the door. He didn’t want the woman to get into trouble before he figured out who she really was.
"Shhh..." Alphonce silenced the crowd, signalling that no one should scream or do anything that might cause panic outside, alerting others to the danger inside.
He closed the door and instructed the waiter to call the security room and have the cameras turned off. The waiter, seeing the gun in Alphonce's hand, nervously confessed that there were no cameras in that area, as it was a place where people engaged in private activities.
In the time it took for this conversation to occur, Monalisa had already killed all six men who had come to defend the young man. Alphonce ordered the waitstaff to clean up everything and warned that no one was to leave until given permission, or they would face the consequences.
Monalisa seemed almost deranged; after killing all those men, she returned to her seat, calmly cleaned her knife with the alcohol she had been drinking, and resumed sipping it as if nothing had happened.
"It’s extremely dangerous for a country to have a beautiful woman like you who is also so ruthless. You’ve really scared me. You should be at home, raising children and waiting for your husband to come home from work, being his source of comfort. But instead, you’re out here slicing people up like meat, even more brutally than I imagined when I saw you walk in this morning. I’m deeply disappointed," Alphonce spoke, holding a pistol in one hand and his pen in the other.
He sat across from Monalisa, placing these items on the table along with a key that likely belonged to the door he had locked.
"And who are you to take it upon yourself to follow me around all day?" Monalisa responded, her voice soft as she continued looking down at her phone without even raising her head.
"A woman suffering from love doesn't need to explain herself twice. That’s what made me leave my business to come near you. I've seen you suffering since this morning, but I decided to give you some time. I realized I might be one of the people who could bring new happiness into your life, which is why I've been here watching you since morning," Alphonce replied confidently, pulling the bottle of alcohol closer without waiting for an invitation.
The people in the room were filled with fear, each silently praying to God that they would make it out safely.
"Aren't you afraid of what I did to your friends here?"
"Hahaha... you mean those kids you killed?" Alphonce’s answer made Monalisa look up at him for the first time, realizing he treated the deaths of the young men as casually as if they were mere chickens.
"You should have found yourself a woman to live peacefully with for the rest of your days instead of standing here before me. Not every woman you see has to be yours. You’ll lose your dignity as a man in no time. You can leave," Monalisa warned him, not wanting to become too familiar with him and giving him a chance to walk away.
