“Most of the drugs brought in were for vaccinations that every citizen was supposed to receive to protect against future infectious diseases, making it a national issue. Through meticulous investigation over those years, I discovered that the drugs contained elements that attacked the liver and kidneys, with severe effects emerging after ten years of usage. The worst part was that they could affect up to seven generations of humans, impacting their intelligence, health, and psychological state. For pregnant women, just receiving the drug could lead to immediate fetal death, and it would be extremely difficult to conceive quickly again. If they did conceive, the pregnancy would likely end in miscarriage. If not, the child would be born with severe mental issues, creating generations of individuals with significantly reduced cognitive abilities."
"Honestly, that matter terrified me a lot because I could clearly see the country heading toward total destruction, and the next generation would have terrible lives, forced to buy medicine under strict conditions just to survive. I sat down and pondered, what was the main goal of these people to the extent of endangering the lives of millions of people? I also asked myself who allowed these types of drugs to enter the country and start being distributed? I got the following answers, although I didn't find the complete answer about who allowed these drugs to enter, so I had to report the matter to the office to find out where to start addressing the problem.
"The answers I got from the importers were as follows: First, they needed to reduce the population to continue dominating the continent politically, economically, technologically, and socially without facing opposition, as they would have no choice but to kneel before them. They would achieve this because they seemed to have already introduced these drugs in some countries except ours, where they were starting to establish their roots. The second reason was that they were highly interested in the resources that this country is blessed with. They wanted to enrich themselves using these resources, and that’s why they created this problem, only to later pretend to solve it under strict conditions of taking gold.
"I didn’t waste time. I quickly reported the matter to the office because I had completed my work diligently. I can't lie; I was paid a lot of money, which I always transferred to my personal account every time it was deposited. You may not understand now, but you will understand later. The national security director at that time was greatly shocked by this information because it was a very dangerous issue that we couldn’t allow to continue at all, even though we knew that by that time, the drugs had reached many people. The director allowed me to complete the task by going to the chief chemist of the country to get further confirmation on whether he had approved the use of these drugs in the country and on what grounds.
"I managed to meet the old man, but he gave me very simplistic answers, claiming that he had tested the drugs himself and confirmed that they were safe and had no issues. Now, who was I to start questioning and contradicting his tests? I think he didn’t know me well. I decided to go against the rules, which was the first mistake that has kept me here until today. I tortured that old man a lot after he gave me a casual answer, while people’s lives were being destroyed. What I did, was I had one sample of the drug, I drew it into a syringe, and I was about to inject him to see if the drug was really safe. He cried a lot and begged me not to do it, and that’s when he told me the truth that exhausted me a lot. According to his explanation, he had tested the drug and found it to have significant problems, but he was told to stand aside and if asked, to say that he had confirmed it to be safe, and that’s what he did. So he didn’t have any fault.
"I had to ask him who gave him that order. He answered that it was the honourable president of the country. That was a huge shock for me; the president had allowed such a drug to enter his country and harm his people's lives and cause deaths. I wanted to believe it was a made-up story, but he insisted strongly that if I didn’t believe him, I should find the president and ask him."
"I injected that chief chemist with the syringe containing the virus because he failed to be patriotic. I wanted to see how he would deal with it if he allowed others to die. But that was the start of my downfall because the next day, the chief chemist was found dead, and I was charged with his murder. It was alleged that I had gone to bribe the expert to plant the deadly virus in the medicine, and after he refused, I killed him. That’s why I said I have a heavy grudge against this country, and they must pay for this," he declared emphatically before continuing his story, holding his new son while they sat by the fire in the village.
“That was the day I realized that this country has no love for me. It was the day I vowed to seek heavy revenge in my lifetime, and it was the day I began to hate my own country. That’s when my grudge against the country I had sworn to protect with my life was born, and it won’t end until the day I accomplish that,” Denilo Felix continued his story, holding Jabir, who was born from the same womb as Jason.
Now, he breathed heavily to reveal the chapter that made him harbour such a deep grudge against his country and explain how he ended up here.
“That night, after leaving the chief chemist’s place, it was very late. But I didn’t want to rest with that information, so my first aim was to go to the National Security Director, who was my boss at the time. I knew I couldn’t find him at his office, so the way to reach him was to go directly to his house. Due to the great trust he had in me, I was allowed to go anytime, but I had to make sure no one noticed my arrival at his place.”
“And that’s where my journey was heading in the late hours of the night, almost morning. I arrived there and knocked on the luxurious gate, but it was very quiet. After ten minutes, I heard footsteps approaching from outside where I was standing, very anxious. One thing that confused me about the director was that, despite having visited his house several times, I never knew if he had a wife or family because he never talked about it, and I never found any family presence there.”
“A very well-built man opened the gate with a frown on his face. I was surprised because I had never seen him there before. Since his presence had nothing to do with me, I didn’t have time to question it. Instead, I focused on my task. I walked a bit further as he was locking the gate, and that’s when I was alarmed.”
“‘Hey, why are you locking the gate when I just arrived and will leave soon?’ I asked after turning around, but he didn’t answer.
Instead, he whistled, which was followed by the sound of more footsteps coming from the side where we were. That confirmed that my safety was now zero. I tried hard to consider if I had mistaken the house, but no, I wasn’t drunk. So how could I be lost at a place I had been to several times, even in the dead of night? The answer was no; I was now very worried about the director’s safety.”
“I turned around and was shocked to see that there were now four very well-built men. I was very worried, but not for myself. I knew I could handle these guys easily, even if I didn’t know how dangerous and feared they were in this world. So why should I fear them? Absolutely not! I wouldn’t do that. But my greatest concern was for the old man, and that’s when my heart skipped a beat.”
