"Remember Mark well; he was a brave judge in the eyes of all. Everyone is mourning their judge’s death, my brother, but it's all because of your greed. Look at what kind of life Jason will live by himself. We don’t even know where he is or what has happened to him. What you did is unforgivable, even for me. At first, I thought they were falsely accusing you, and that you were innocent. But after seeing that video of you shooting the honourable president and the evidence that followed, I deeply regret having you as my brother. I’ve seen the video myself, and even the president has seen it and ordered your immediate arrest and severe punishment."
"Maybe you are wondering why the army has come to arrest you instead of the police. The simple question for you is, would your men, who obey you more than they obey the president, agree to arrest you? The answer is no, they wouldn’t. That is why we have brought a special unit for this task." CDF didn't give his brother any chance to speak.
He signalled the men to handcuff the IGP, but they were stopped.
The IGP's wife stepped forward and blocked them, completely denying that her husband was involved in any of the things being discussed. She was shocked that a family member could accuse her husband of such crimes.
"Sister-in-law, I didn't make these decisions. This is the reality of the actions your husband has committed. He has to pay for all the bad things he has done. We are here on the president's orders to take your husband," said the CDF.
The IGP's wife wanted to continue causing a commotion, but her husband signalled her to stop. He agreed to be handcuffed as a criminal and a major terrorist of the nation, with his rank already stripped.
The men put him in the car and left the area. The IGP's family was left in deep sorrow and confusion, not knowing what would happen next. His youngest child was crying a lot. The journalists managed to take pictures, but no one got a chance to ask a single question.
Everywhere in the country, people were shocked to hear that the IGP was involved in the murders of the Chief Justice and the President. People couldn’t believe that such a respected official could do such a thing. Some criticized and spoke ill of the relatives and friends, saying that in this world, you shouldn't trust anyone.
The cars took him straight to prison. There, the IGP received a lot of shouting that night from prisoners who were crying out in anger. It wasn’t because they loved him, but many criminals wanted him because they had been imprisoned due to his police policies, so they had a lot of anger towards him.
He was taken to a cell that was quite nice, with everything he needed, making it feel like living outside prison. He was uncuffed and given prison clothes. He was then shown to his cell, where he entered without any trouble and settled in. Within a minute, the CDF entered with his guards. He looked at his brother, who didn’t respond
They just stared at each other.
"What you have started, prepare to face it again very soon. You bypassed me by taking my woman from where I had hidden her, thinking I wouldn’t find out. You even went further to create a video to tarnish my reputation, but I warn you, I will only be here for a few days before I'm released because the evidence will be revealed very soon. If you didn’t know, that lawyer is now free and has the videos of the incident, so people will know the truth about what happened," the IGP said as he went to his bed to sleep.
The CDF’s initial smugness vanished from his face. He had come to taunt his brother but didn’t get the chance. He left the cell, clearly disturbed. The lawyer, Yasinta, held all the evidence of the events. What would happen if she released it to the public? Sweat was pouring down his body as he walked quickly away.
While this was happening, Jason was watching the events unfold on his large phone. His face contorted with anger, and he crushed the phone in his hand, his face showing intense fury.
"I will do something terrible to this old man that he will never forget for the rest of his life. Now, let me start with his child," he said with strong emphasis.

GOING BACK OVER TWENTY (20) YEARS AGO
We go to a small town where Constable Japhary, the father of Markvelous and Jason Japhary, brought his family for their safety after realizing that his own safety was increasingly at risk. Before the arrival of the Japhary family, the village had gained significant notoriety following the arrival of a homeless man. This man, who appeared dishevelled from his clothes to his overall appearance, caused great anxiety among the villagers, who feared he might bring harm. They initially decided to expel him through their chairman but later reconsidered upon discovering he was mentally ill.
If the government learned they had expelled a mentally ill person, it would have been a significant issue, so they resolved to let him stay as long as he didn't harm anyone.
The villagers resumed their lives after a week of monitoring the man, finding him quiet and non-violent, which endeared him to many who started helping him with food. Despite this, one could easily tell he was mentally ill by his eating habits, his choice of clothes, and the areas he frequented. He became known as the village madman, very popular in the community.
His hair was long and tangled, and his face was covered with sores that made it hard to see his features clearly. His appearance was rugged, with ample hair and beard. He was often seen wandering the streets during the day, but at night he disappeared, causing no concern among the villagers who assumed he roamed elsewhere for food, given the village's low living standards.
The arrival of the Japhary family slightly changed the madman's life, though no one suspected him of anything. He spent most of his time near their residence. He had encountered Mark several times and helped him whenever they met, believing him to be genuinely mad. Something drew him to this family, possibly after learning about them and why Japhary chose to bring his family to such an area.
On the day the Japhary family was attacked, he wasn't far from the scene, sleeping under a tree about seven hundred meters from their home. He didn't witness the attack because of the distance, but the loud cry of Mark's mother, urging her son to flee, reached him clearly. He was startled and quickly descended from the tree, looked around, saw no one, and began cautiously approaching the area, wary of being spotted by the villagers who might start yelling at him, so he moved very slowly, pretending he was just passing by.
As he made his way at a slow pace, picking up some items along the way, the delay caused by his decision-making led him to arrive later than expected. As he approached, he was surprised to see heavy smoke and, suddenly, a large fire breaking out. He increased his speed to reach the scene. Upon arriving, he heard a child crying loudly, rushed in, and found the child inside a basket, choking from the smoke.
He carried the child to a safer location and gently blew into the child's eyes for a short while, calming the child who then stopped crying and began to smile. Soon after, he saw a young man entering the area with another child, crying and calling for his mother. Recognizing the young man as someone who had helped him before, he understood that the young man had returned to check on his family’s safety.
The young man searched everywhere, found nothing, and decided to leave with the remaining child, certain that his mother and one of his siblings had been killed. His responsibility was now to care for the surviving child.
Amid the fire, he picked up an item from the scene, placing it in his bag before leaving. This was the moment when Mark picked up an ID card belonging to one of the men involved in the attack on his family. He left the scene, grieving and feeling immense pain, vowing to seek vengeance for the suffering inflicted on him while he was still young. His twin brother, whom he took with him, is known today as Jason, the biological brother of the late Chief Judge.
