The night was dark and stormy, and the wind howled the trees. A lone figure stumbled down the road, holding a battered suitcase, walking hastily to Zedd, the shadow hunter's house.

Zedd is known for catching dangerous criminals that have super abilities and uses them for evil.

Zedd happens to have a happy and lovely family, his wife, Mrs Zedd, to two girls, Sasha and Nicole.

"Sasha! Stop scaring your sister at this hour of the night," Sasha's mother, Mrs Zedd, shouted while sitting in the parlor sipping her black coffee, trying to rest after the family dinner.

"Alright, Mum, I am just trying to have fun". Sasha replied after he stopped scaring his sister. Then he turned to his sister, "You coward, you are always scared of everything".

"Leave my room!" Nicole shouted, Nicole, who was already scared of the scary prank Sasha usually plays on her.

After some minutes of silence in the mansion, the mansion's alarm bell rang so loud disrupting everyone from their sleep.

"Who could that be at this late hour of the night?" Mrs Zedd was deep in thought and decided to see who was at the door.

"Who is disturbing the peace of the mansion?" She shouted.

Madam, it is me, Jeremy; I want to see Zedd.

"Oh," Mrs. Zedd said surprisingly before opening the door. Jeremy steps in looking all worked out and tired holding on to his battered suitcase.

"I need to speak to Zedd urgently" he spoke holding tightly to his briefcase 

"In this odd hour of the night?".Mrs Zedd cuts in, looking confused as she can't wait until the day break.

"Cut the bull shit and go get me, Zedd, Right now '' Jeremy shouted in anger as if something bad was about to happen.

"Okay, fine" Mrs Zedd said disgustingly as she walked out to call her husband. 

"The fire crackled and popped in the hearth, casting dancing shadows on the walls. A lone figure sat over a desk, staring furiously at a leather journal."

It was Zedd in his study room as usual."What are you missing?","How dare you disturb me while I am in my study room?" Zedd said angrily.

Everyone in the family knows not to disturb Zedd when he is in his study room.

"Forgive me, my love; I came to tell you that Jeremy is in the living room waiting for you."Mrs Zedd said while standing close to the door.

"Jeremy? What could he want at this strange hour of the night" Zedd was lost in taught

"Tell him I will be with him shortly" Zedd replied as he watched his wife leave his study.

"Could he have figured it out?" the teacher came, and he let out an evil smile.

The house was silent again for some minutes before Zedd came to the living room. He saw Jeremy sitting down holding his suitcase tightly

"Here I was resting until you showed up at my abode to disturb my peace; you better have a good explanation for this," Zedd said, walking straight to Jeremy.

"Forgive me, sir, for the disturbance, but you need to come with me to the club,” Jeremy said, looking right into Zedd's eyes.

Zedd knew Jeremy was a worker for Mr Sam, who owns the club, where all superhumans meet.

Zedd was looking confused when he was asked to come to the industry immediately.

"Why, if I may ask, is it so urgent that it can't wait until daybreak?" Zedd asked.

Jeremy walked close to Zedd and said  in whispers, "We no The shadow's secret Identity."

Zedd gasps in surprise and lets out a smile.

He went in quickly and grabbed his coat, hurrying to leave the house; his wife, Mrs. Zed,d, who listened to all their conversation, came out trying to stop her husband from leaving the house at this hour.

"Zedd, you can't leave the house right now. It's too late; whatever it is, it can wait until tomorrow". She said

"I'll be back before you know it," Zedd said as he left the house with Jeremy out in the cold, dark hour of the night.

It was a long, quiet ride; none of them said anything to each other. The street was quiet and peaceful as the car rode the silent streets of Everton.

After the long ride, they finally arrived at the Zedd

"Tell Mr Sam to meet me at the bar; I'm waiting to hear what he has to say," Zedd said.

After Zedd left one of Jeremy's guys, John rushed towards Jeremy looking angry."You fool, how could you lie to Zedd that Murphy is "THE SHADOW" John said in anger.

"Am your boss, so I'll tell you what to do".Jeremy said not looking concerned

"It is not good to betray; we can't betray Murphy, "Jake said.

"For 3 years now, Zedd has been working to catch "THE SHADOW" but hasn't been able to, he has no clue or lead about the shadow so Mr. Sam and I came up with an idea to set Murphy up to make Zedd think Murphy is the shadow," Jeremy said with a dark tone.

"So what is this setup all about to you? do you think it is a game?" John said

"Game?Oh no, no, no. Murphy's set is not a game" Jeremy said.

"The set is part of destiny! Jeremy said with a smile on his face

John looked at Jeremy with disgust. "You’re playing with fire, Jeremy. Zedd is relentless. If he finds out we set him up, it won’t just be Murphy who gets caught in the crossfire
