Chapter 3: We are Family!
Kit was excited. The wind rushing past him and the tiny lights on the streets cheered him on as he sped his motorbike toward Danny’s place. His amnesiac, runaway, pregnant wife. At times he wondered how they’d gone from a dance at the bar, to hook ups, to a love triangle with his twin brother, to a married couple that didn’t live like husband and wife.
They were starting over again.
But differently: it wasn’t going to be a fated run-in at a club followed by a night together at the beach. It would be a choice they both made. They were both different people. Danny was starting fresh. Her mind had been wiped clean by the accident. However, it had been filled with accusations, and guilt of a love that never was. So, it really wasn’t a fresh start, it was a do-over. He didn’t know what to call it, either. The whole situation left him in a confused daze. Kit didn’t know which Danny was harder to deal with, the confident one held back by her insecurities brought from her addiction, or the confident one held back by her remorse for a man she didn’t remember.
He also did feel a little guilty, not because he’d come back from the dead to reclaim his love, but because he and his brother’s fates had been switched. It wasn’t death in his mind or heart. He didn’t feel it. He and Chris were twins, so he convinced himself that if his other half had left this world, he would feel the void left behind. Romancing the one-woman Chris had ever wanted to marry was a thorn in his side, but again, Chris did do the same.
“What I’m I, a kid?” he muttered under his breath when the tit-for-tat thought crossed his mind.
Chris had always taken it to a different level. While Kit tried to draw Danny back into his arms by showing care, Chris drowned her in booze and controlled her with it. That was unforgivable.
“We don’t have to feel guilty,” Kit decided.
He and Danny had been friends, then lovers, before they’d become a married couple—and all of that had happened before Chris’ infatuation. Kit refused to believe that Chris was ever in love with Danny. It was all about possession, and beating Kit at something, and what would be a bigger score than taking Kit’s woman away? Even when Chris thought him dead, Chris still wanted to prove he was better.
“This is different,” Kit told himself. He wasn’t scheming the same way Chris did. He was just proving his love for his wife and being a good father to the children who were yet to enter this world.
Kit pulled his bike into Danny’s gravel driveway. He turned it off, took off his helmet, and dismounted. Kit stared at the front door for a while before finally mustering up his courage to knock on the door.
The sounds of a little boy giggling, a man’s chuckle, and two female voices talking above each other escaped through the windows. One of the days Kit had been watching Danny, he had seen the man, the pregnant woman, and who he assumed was that couple’s son, together in the store. He hadn’t seen them clearly but the aura they gave off had not escaped him. They were the picture of a perfect family. He envied that and hoped this night would eventually give him that perfect family with his own wife. He wasn’t going to rush it but take his time with the family and emotions he was building with Danny.
Kit finally knocked on the door. When it opened, he had to look down at the little boy who opened it. The shock chilled his body and that was quickly followed by different voices in his head saying, “I’m wrong, he only looks like him,” and “Oh my God, it really is him.”
For a year his family had mistakenly believed that Kit was dead. So, coming back to life was not a new concept for the Henry family, but staring at his nephew, the one they had silently mourned for but hoped was still alive, was a shock he never thought he would be able to recover from.
“Uncle Chris!” The little boy launched himself into Kit’s arms and he willingly embraced him. However, while RD’s hug was that of affection, Kit’s held the boy tight, protectively, against his body. He stepped into the home, his gaze fixed on the man who stared back at him, slack jawed.
Familiarity came over him. He knew he had seen the man somewhere, but outside of this fake family environment. Kit just couldn’t put his finger on it.
“What? Why?”
Kit turned his gaze at Ray, who had just walked into the room. She was alive, all right. In fact, one could say she had two lives in her. So, Duke’s nanny was alive, and so was Duke’s son. Kit couldn’t help but laugh at how absurd his whole family was.
“The Henrys are just too good at this coming-back-to-life thing.” Kit shifted RD in his arms so that he could get a clearer view of both Ray and the man. “So, what’s this trick called? Let’s use a movie reference. I would go with Die Another Day. How about the two of you go with Taken. I’m about to call Liam Neeson in a second.”
“I can explain,” Ray said, in one feeble breath. She stepped forward, her arms reaching for RD.
Kit took a step back and shook his head. She didn’t need to be any closer for him to hear her. He wasn’t sure that there could be any explanation she could give that could save her in this situation.
“I just…I didn’t do anything wrong,” she said.
RD wiggled out of his arms and jumped down to the ground. Ray immediately grabbed her son and held him in her arms, her eyes wide in fright.
“What’s going on here?” Danny asked.
Kit’s gaze rose to Danny as she walked in. This wasn’t the night he had planned for them. It wasn’t going how he’d imagined at all. However, there was no way he could just pretend that he didn’t see two presumed-dead people in the middle of Danny’s living room.
“What are you doing here?” Kit barked. “I thought you were dead.”
“Wait, what?” Danny stepped in between Kit and Ray. “What’s going on here?”
“That’s my nephew and that woman is his nanny. Did you kidnap him?” Kit tried to walk around Danny, but she wouldn’t let him. “My brother thinks his son is dead. Yvonne—his wife.”
“She’s not his mother. I am his mother,” Ray said.
“I’m calling the police!” Kit shouted.
“No, wait. What are you doing?” Danny grabbed for the phone from Kit’s hand, but he held it away. “Kit, get out.”
“What?” He was just as shocked as she was.
“Leave my house!” Danny yelled.
“You are going to pick her over me?”
“Just this once,” she said. “Please.”
Kit banged the door shut on his way out. Anger and embarrassment weighed heavy on his shoulders. He couldn’t believe Danny had just done that.

Duke stared at the picture of Rhyne and her son that he kept hidden in his wallet. He had found it in her things the day she’d disappeared. He had found two pictures: one of her pregnant with a child he suspected was RD and the other was of RD’s first day of school. Duke hadn’t had the chance to say goodbye. They had been planning RD’s school activity for that afternoon, but when he got home, she and RD were both gone. It didn’t seem like she had tried to take anything at all. Her room was untouched and so was RD’s. The only foreign element was Nola. She had come back from wherever she had gone to and was raving in the house.
Duke had confronted her with his theories and assumptions. Nola confessed in under a minute. It was shocking and unexpected. Her story of Ray and RD running away was soon followed by the news of the subway accident, the same one that his brother Chris had been in. Rescuers had found survivors, but Ray, RD, and Chris were not among them.
For a while, Duke wallowed in a darkness he never thought he would be able to dig himself out of. But once it was confirmed they weren’t on the train, he had hoped. Everyone around them thought they had been in the train accident, because that was what he told them, and no one had thought to question him. He didn’t want to risk losing sight of RD and Ray again. Rhyne was her first name, but she would always be Ray to Duke.
Even so, Duke didn’t know why he was waiting for so long. It wasn’t time to bring them back yet. For his anger to be fully satisfied and his vengeance to be effective, he needed time. But that didn’t keep him from moving to Maui to be close to them.
Duke’s phone buzzed on his office desk. He glanced at the screen, and he saw it was Kit. He picked it up on the third ring.
“Duke, I found them. Ray and your son. They are not dead.”
Shit, now what?
***
Duke left his hotel room and rushed down to the lobby, where his car waited for him. He sat in the back seat and stared out the window as the car sped off. Duke had decided to come to Hawaii the moment Kit arrived on the island from New York. He was going after his wife Danny, and that was where Ray was. He was sure that something would happen, and wanted to be close by, just in case Kit discovered Ray. He didn’t want to give Ray a chance to take off with his son if she felt cornered. It had worked out, in a way: Duke had been hesitant to show himself to Ray just yet, but now that his hand was forced, he was glad to.
He had so much on his mind already: the company, Chris, and Ray and his son…and his daughter. He smiled to himself just at the thought of having a daughter. A little girl. Duke vaguely remembered the day Katherine was first brought home from the hospital. Mine. That was what he’d felt the instant he saw her pink, scrunched-up little face in her crib. He had been lonely for so long. His real mother had died when he was two and he could barely remember her face, but he had this weird feeling of knowing what her touch was like, tender and comforting. Somehow, he could sense her warm heart and the feeling of her cheek against his tiny palm. The sound of her voice, almost musical, and her smell: sweets, roses, and the sun combined. It was weird for him to remember all that but not her face. It tormented him, and yet he still didn’t dare look for one of her pictures. He thought it would make him weak. Duke had built his strength from the loss he’d felt as a child, and from the way his father treated him differently from his siblings.
He’d been four when his father remarried and the blond-haired, blue-grey-eyed trio were born. He was grateful for them, for a while. They took away his loneliness. However, he soon realized that he was the centre of his father’s focus. The first son, his father’s prize possession, and his stepmother’s reminder that there was another Mrs. Harry Henry before her.
As the first-born, Duke belonged to his father, so he didn’t answer to anyone but the old man. He didn’t own his life, so he turned that affection to Katherine and for the first two years of her life, Katherine was his to care for. Once Kit and Chris had been born, somehow, he got Chris. It was obvious, by the cold-hearted way he behaved, that Chris had followed Duke around trying very much to be just like his big brother. It was Duke’s fault. His desire to make Chris just as formidable as their father had made him had backfired when Chris turned into a selfish punk. Duke didn’t have as much time to keep an eye on Chris, just as Katherine had with Kit. He felt sad and a little guilty, but he was making up for it now. He kept a closer eye on Chris, now that he was far from the family. Duke didn’t understand why Chris had decided to let the family think that he was lost to them. Chris was self-serving and attention-seeking. He no doubt wanted to force the family into letting him have his twin brother’s wife. So, Duke let him sit in Cold Spring until he got his head on straight. Duke was worried that RD would turn out like that, too. Maybe that was why he didn’t immediately go get him once he’d discovered Ray and Nola’s game.
Duke still hadn’t decided about whether he would press charges against Nola and Ray. He was about to, until he heard Ray was pregnant again. He wasn’t that much of an asshole to send a pregnant woman to jail.
Duke rarely got nervous, not for anyone or anything, but knowing that he was on his was to see his son and the only woman to make a fool out of him made his insides tremble. His hand on his chest, he tried to still his racing heart as he took a couple of deep breaths. A few more minutes and he would be staring at her, face to face.
***
“I need to get out of here.” Rhyne rubbed the top of her belly. Her baby kicked harder as each nerve-racking second ticked by. She stepped close to the window and looked out. Christian was still there. He guarded the front door like it held a P.O.W. on the other side of it. He was waiting for something, most likely someone. Rhyne hoped that Duke was not on his way. It had taken everything within her to run away from him the first time. She didn’t think she could do it again. She was desperate not to see him, not because she was afraid of him, but because of how he made her feel. She would be an idiot to leave a man who’d showed her nothing but love twice in one lifetime.
She also had an agreement with Nola: she would give up Duke and keep her son. Legally, it was Nola’s name on RD’s birth certificate, the certificate Duke had, anyway. Rhyne had applied for a new one once they had arrived in Hawaii. The only thing she needed to prove was maternity, and there was no doubt about who RD’s biological mother was. But she still didn’t want to risk it.
Rhyne had watched her son get taken from her arms once before. She wasn’t about to let Nola do that again.
It was inevitable, meeting Duke. Rhyne was surprised it had taken him this long to find them. Duke had power and connections: these put the world at his feet. Rhyne always suspected that he already knew where they were and he was just lying-in wait, like the predator he was. Every night when she went home from the shop, every morning when she woke up to start her day, there was this fear than she would find him in her living room, one knee crossed over the other, and a stern look on his face as his fingers drummed the arm of the chair.
She also harboured a little hope that she would one day find him in her home. He would obviously get mad, but he would forgive her in the end. The storybook ending. But Rhyne wasn’t a fool enough to believe in a happy-ever-after ending.
As she stood there contemplating her next move, she realized something. Rhyne had no desire to run. She looked toward the glass doors that led out of cottage and on to the sandy beach. If she really wanted to run from Duke, she should have already taken that exit. So instead, she rested her swollen feet by carefully easing her large body down into an armchair. She let out the tension that was knotting her insides, and relaxed.
“He’s on his way,” she said out loud. Not so much for everyone else to hear, but for herself. So that she could believe the moment was here.
“Who is on his way?” RD’s little voice piped up, “Daddy is coming,” Rhyne said.
“Why did you tell him that?” Jake asked, an angry expression on his face.
Rhyne realized that ever since Christian had walked into the cottage, Jake had a controlled look on his face. His fingers balled into fists at his sides, his shoulders stiff, he stood rigid in one spot and hadn’t even moved.
For the past few months, Jake had been the support she’d needed but never wanted. What was a chance encounter at the market turned into a neighbour who apparently had lost-puppy syndrome. He had always tailed Rhyne everywhere she went. For a moment, she’d thought he could be a stalker. But after she got to know him, she could see that he was just caring and a little overbearing. They quickly became friends, with Jake filling in Duke’s shoes. It was just recently that Rhyne noticed that this friendship as becoming something a little more for Jake. She ignored it. Rhyne didn’t know what to say. For almost six years, she had been enamoured with one man. Even when Duke didn’t know she existed, Rhyne was there watching over him and taking care of him.
Her one-sided love story turned into a fairy-tale that night Duke first noticed her in their kitchen. Rhyne didn’t think there was anything wrong with being his lover. There was no infidelity there. Nola never paid attention to Duke, ever since she got the ring, the house, and the credit card. Duke was lonely, and Rhyne owed it to her son to make sure his father was happy. That was how she convinced herself to stay in his bed after their first night together.
Rhyne felt bad for Jake. She knew exactly how it felt to watch over the person you had feelings for, and for them to not to look at you the same way you regarded them. When Rhyne had discovered his feelings for her, she had tried to cut off their friendship but that seemed to make him even more determined to be by her side. Rhyne hadn’t had constant people in her life, so she selfishly let Jake’s attention go on. Leaving with Duke would ease a weight off her chest and give Jake a chance to move on without having her and RD around.
So, Rhyne knew exactly what she’d done by telling RD that his father was coming: she had taken them to a point of no return. Rhyne pulled her gaze from Jake’s betrayed look to her son’s happy face. That was what she was going to focus on from now on, how happy her son was when he heard his father was coming for them.
“Are you excited?”
“Yes!” RD squealed as he jumped up and down.
“That makes one of us,” Danny said, breaking her silence. “I’m not sure what is going on, but I can’t help but feel weary.”
“What relationship do you have with Christian?” Jake asked.
“I woke up from a deep sleep and found out I was his wife and the mother of…of his children, I guess.”
The hesitation in Danny’s voice was obvious. Rhyne noticed how she’d said, “his children” and how she’d added “I guess” to her statement. “You are his wife?” she asked instead of addressing the proverbial elephant that had landed squarely in between them. Rhyne would rather talk about Danny’s drama over her own.
“Yes.”
“You are Daniela Kent?”
“Yes, Rhyne, my full name is Daniela Kent. I guess it’s Daniela Kent Henry, now.”
“Do you realize what you are saying right now?” Rhyne couldn’t help but be happy. It was rare when you would find a friend who was like family. But in this instance, Danny was actually her family. “You are RD’s aunt. And your babies are my babies’ cousins.”
“So, we are family?” Danny asked.
“Yes, we are.”
“And the man who is coming—”
“That is Christian’s big brother, your brother-in-law.”
“I wouldn’t even know if I met him before. So, it’s going to be a Henry family reunion. Our husbands have come to get their pregnant wives.”
Rhyne swallowed hard as her cheeks burned with embarrassment. She wasn’t exactly his wife, more like his mistress. However, she wasn’t going to say it out loud. The last thing she wanted was for Danny to think less of her.
A memory flashed in her head, of a young woman intoxicated and wailing in the Henry family home. “I remember you, when Christian died you were inconsolable.”
“I was,” Danny asked surprised. “I don’t remember any of that.”
“I understand,” Rhyne nodded remembering Danny’s amnesia. “I could tell how much you loved him then.”
“You and Duke, do you love your husband?”
“Duke and I are in a relationship, but we aren’t married.” Rhyne frowned at Jake when he snickered. What the hell did he know that gave him the right?
“So why did Kit accuse you of kidnapping?”
“It’s just a misunderstanding.”
***
A misunderstanding?
Danny had been watching both Jake and Rhyne ever since Kit had stormed out of the cottage. Honestly, she had known Kit longer but had interacted with Rhyne more. She didn’t know what, exactly, to believe. Kit didn’t seem like the type of person who would threaten people without reason. That was why she stood by the front door, aware Kit was on the other side of it, just in case. Her gaze was fixed on RD, watching out for his safety. However as soon as she heard that the cute little boy was her nephew, her attachment and protective instinct tripled.
She hated this, the distrust that came with having no memories. She didn’t trust Kit and neither did she trust Rhyne at this moment. However, she felt like she could believe what they were both saying at this moment. Kit clearly believed that his nephew had been kidnapped, and Rhyne seemed a little frightened, not in an illegal kind of way, but emotionally. It made sense and didn’t make sense at the same time. But right now, she felt like the bridge between these two people who had turned out to be her family.
Danny heard a car pull into her tiny driveway.
“What’s the meaning of this?” she heard Kit ask.
“What do you mean?” a deeper voice responded.
“I called you ten minutes ago and here you are. Weren’t you in New York?”
“I obviously was not.”
“Duke, you need to give me an explanation.”
“How about we worry about our own problems?” Duke had this low rumble, an authoritative tone that dared Kit to say something else.
Danny stepped back from the door, staring at it, half expecting the hinges to blow and the barrier land at her feet in a thousand pieces. It was a weird visual, but it suited the voice of the man on the other side of the door.
Danny looked back at Jake. He was back to being a statue and Rhyne’s fingers dug into the armchair. They both seemed resolved to face whatever would come at them. It was like they knew exactly what would happen, which was normal for Rhyne, but Jake…where had he met Duke?
A knock on the door had Danny letting out a startled yelp. Her hand on her chest, she cursed as she willed her racing heart to calm down. Taking in a deep breath, she exhaled the same moment she opened the door. Kit made his entrance with an angry march while Duke took a step inside, the cool breeze following him into the cottage. Duke stopped where she stood, took one look at her, and nodded his greeting. Danny couldn’t help but nod back—actually, you could call it a bow. There was a mysterious and very attractive aura about Duke that willed you to be humbled before him.
Danny could see the attraction Rhyne had for Duke, and it was obvious why Jake could never get Rhyne to look at him romantically. Duke had Rhyne under a spell, one that couldn’t be broken. It was strong, and the longer Danny stayed in his presence, the stronger the pull was.
“I have a husband,” she muttered under her breath.
“Excuse me?” Kit asked.
When had he gotten so close? “Nothing.”
“Daddy!” RD squealed as he leaped into his father’s arms.
Immediately the cold, hard block of ice that was Duke melted as he embraced his son. The scene was heart-warming. The slight smile pulling at the corners of Kit’s mouth told Danny that she wasn’t the only one who found the scene touching. She wondered if Kit would be that kind of father, authoritative on the outside but a bowl of melting marshmallow on the inside. She couldn’t wait to see that.
“Let’s go.” Duke held out his hand to Rhyne and she immediately took it. She didn’t hesitate, try to turn away, or talk her way out of it. This was a man she had run from, for whatever reason. Rhyne had never told Danny why she had left her children’s father. Danny was obviously curious for the ten minutes she had learned the truth. Before, she’d just assumed that Rhyne’s husband had died, and Jake was this filial best friend who was watching out for her.
Boy, did she have it wrong.
Duke helped Rhyne to her feet. “Are you okay?”
Rhyne nodded, apparently unable to speak. Danny thought she would feel the same way, especially since the cold front seemed to be back. No one was oblivious to the glare that Duke levelled on Jake. There was a familiarity between the two men.
“Who is he?” Kit asked.
“Let’s go,” Duke said, not just to Rhyne but to Kit as well.
Danny’s instinct told her to pull back just as Kit grabbed her arm. She stared at where his fingers had cuffed her arm and frowned. He doesn’t mean to take me with him, does he?
“Where is your purse?” Kit asked.
“I’m not going with you.”
“Yes, you are.”
Kit let go of her hand, walked into the bedroom, and returned seconds later with both her purse, and Rhyne’s. “You don’t need any clothes. We’ll get you new ones.”
***
Duke was proud of Kit. Ever since he had come back from the dead, he seemed to have lost his backbone. That boy had turned into a man at the Henry dinner table by announcing he was leaving the family business and joining the navy. When he came back, he just seemed like he didn’t know his place anymore, and he was letting Chris win over him, all over again. Duke had been disappointed—well, that was until he heard that Kit had been having secret rendezvous with his own wife.
Duke still had his hands tight around RD and Ray as they walked onto the tarmac toward the aircraft waiting for them. While Ray followed quietly, Duke could hear Danny protest with each step she took.
“I have rights, you know?” she shouted, once they’d all boarded.
“I know,” Kit said passively as he adjusted and closed her seat belt for her. He reclined the chair a little. “Are you comfortable?”
“No, not at all.”
“Okay,” Kit said as he took a seat.
Duke watched, very amused, as he settled next to Ray.
“Welcome to Air Henry.” Jessica stepped out of the cockpit, making Duke choke back a breath.
“Shit!” Kit cursed.
“What are you doing here?” Duke asked, his hand immediately covering Ray’s. “Who did you leave at the office?”
“I came in this morning to surprise you, but it seems like you got a surprise of your own.” Jessica’s glare didn’t leave Ray for a moment. Ray shifted in her seat, obviously uncomfortable. “Plus, I brought you some paperwork to sign.”
“Give it to Kit to take a look,” Duke instructed.
“Why, I don’t work at…yes, of course I’ll take a look.” Kit gave in when Jessica tossed the files on his lap.
“What’s her problem?” Danny asked.
“Nothing much. I’ve just been by this man’s side for over twenty years, and he seems to always marry and knock up women who are not me. He still chases after this one girl who almost cost him the company presidency,” Jessica rattled on. “It’s a good thing both Kit and Chris disappeared, and Kat has no interest in the family business and Ethan has enough on his plate to care. Otherwise, he would be unemployed. It was a good thing I was by his side, otherwise who would have told him what Yvonne—who turns out to be Nola—was doing. And Ray…actually, we should be calling you Rhyne-with-no-last-name, because she was thrown away. Her parents didn’t want her, so imagine my shock when Duke keeps chasing after her.”
“STOP!” Duke’s fists clenched as his temper made a temporary escape from the tight reins, he had on them. He knew the circumstances that brought them to this moment. He didn’t need Jessica to rehash the past and demean Rhyne in front of their son.
“Wow! You finally lost your temper.” Jessica turned to Rhyne, completely unfazed by Duke’s outburst. “I was wrong about something. You are not the no-last-name orphan girl anymore, are you? Mrs. Henry.” Jessica stood up. “Please let me know if there is anything else you need, Mr. Henry,” she said, before storming off to the back of the plane.
“For a moment, I thought we hit turbulence,” Danny said.
Duke turned to his only sister-in-law, flabbergasted at how she managed to find amusement in the oddest thing. “Your odd sense of humour hasn’t changed.”
Danny pointed at herself, and he nodded.
“Even drowning in my father’s finest whiskey, you still found humour in the oddest things.”
“Duke,” Kit cut in.
“I’m just saying that memory or not, I’m glad she still has her sense of humour. I’m also glad she looks healthy.”
“You mean fat and pregnant,” Danny said.
“No, healthy. Kit might not have seen you during that time you were under Chris’ control, but I did. I can confidently say you picked the right Henry son from the start.”
“Are you the wrong Henry?” Rhyne finally spoke up.
Duke glanced at RD. Thankfully, he was snuggled in his seat, asleep. “I’m your worst nightmare. And as soon as my daughter is born, you and Jake will find out how bad I can get.”
“Don’t do that!” Danny yelled from across the aisle. “Don’t threaten her! She’s the mother of your children.”
“Kit and I handle betrayal very differently. He took you back even after he arrived moments before you said ‘I do’ to his twin brother.” Duke shrugged. “He is the nice one. Chris and I use people’s weaknesses and our strength to control them. Yours was alcohol, hers is the fact that she doesn’t have an identity or anywhere to go, except home with me.”
“You should run, right now. I’ll open the plane door for you.” Jessica came back to the front of the plane. “I was bored behind there by myself, and the conversation you are having sounds so interesting.”
“So, you are the girl for Duke?” Rhyne asked.
“No, I’m the woman for him. You are the girl he is going to leave as soon as he gets custody of his kids,” Jessica said.
“I don’t need support from the peanut gallery,” Duke warned.
“I’m just saying that if it wasn’t for Orphan Annie, you and I would be together.”
“That wouldn’t happen,” Danny chimed in. “As much as he says he is not like Kit, I think he is. They want wives who are the opposite of who they are.”
“Duke only married Nola because she claimed to be pregnant. That was his first dumb moment. He was so drunk; he couldn’t remember who he had slept with, so he married the first woman who walked through his door. And this girl just watched as her not-so-best friend took away both her son and lover. It’s an epic drama. We have time, do you want to listen to it?”
Duke wanted to say no, but Jessica had already started spilling the details of Duke’s most idiotic moments.
