I glared at Oswald angrily as a reply. In Oswald's dream, if he thinks his rejection could stop Wyatt and me from getting together.
Soon, Wyatt and I will have to come up with a solution on how to get together if Oswald continues to remain adamant. “Stop talking nonsense. And you can't stop Wyatt's and my relationship…”
Immediately, Oswald leisurely tucked his hands into his pocket and eyed me lewdly. It was as if he was eye-fucking me and stripping off my dress with his mismatched eyes, making me extremely uncomfortable. It was as if he were a hungry predator while I was the prey he caught.
My hair stands on end, and goosebumps form on my skin immediately. I quickly wrapped my hand around myself and glared at Oswald fiercely. “Pervert,” I pronounced in a voice laced with anger and opened the door.
An amused chuckle spilled past Oswald's lips, and he eyed me with a gaze filled with amusement, his hands tucked into his trousers pocket leisurely. “I'll pursue you from now on. Get prepared.” Oswald's voice was deep and filled with seriousness.
Upon hearing Oswald's words, my brows knitted, and I paused my action of leaving the restroom immediately.
What does Oswald mean by wanting to pursue me? I've gotten together with Wyatt; does Oswald think there's still a chance for both of us to get together? In his dream! In no way will I ever leave my sweet Wyatt for Oswald!

I paused in my step and eyed Wyatt, who calmly strode towards the restroom. I tilted my neck and secretly exhaled in relief. Luckily, I came out. What if Wyatt saw Oswald and I together? Won't Wyatt believe that something is happening between Oswald and me? The thought of what might have happened if Wyatt had seen the scene made my heart skip a beat. Lucky me!
“Wyatt?” I called out and stared at Wyatt with a feigned happy smile on my face, which I tried to make sure didn't seem fake.
Wyatt stopped right in front of me and stared into my mismatched eyes. His black eyes lit up slightly as soon as they fell on me. “Took you late. Thought you lost your way.” Wyatt susurrated and wrapped his arms around me immediately.
I froze due to petrification. Oswald's hands just wrapped around me; there's no way Wyatt won't smell…
“Oswald is here?” Wyatt's eyes constricted dangerously, and his thick voice boomed, making my heart thump with fear.
Wyatt and Oswald had just fought, and a few minutes ago, that scum wrapped his hands around me.
I lowered my head and clutched my gown tightly. Somehow, I felt guilty like a cheating wife, but I knew there was no use lying because I was innocent in the first place. Also, except when Oswald hugged me from behind, nothing happened between the both of us. Yes, nothing. Except that Oswald was talking nonsense!“Hubby…”
“Expecting me to hold back when my seductive mate walks around me? So what if she has been with me?” Before I could complete my sentence, Oswald cockily interrupted in a taunting voice. He cocked his head, raised his chin, and leaned against the wall before leisurely staring at the intertwined Wyatt and me with darkened, mismatched eyes filled with indignation.
Upon hearing Oswald's sentence, my eyes widened, my face flushed red, and my body trembled in indignation. I glared at Oswald angrily. What sort of nonsense was he speaking?
If one didn't know better, one might think I secretly came to meet Oswald for a secret lover hangout. That nonsensical jerk! How dare he say such words? Does he want Wyatt to misunderstand us? He certainly does!
Just like I expected, that scum didn't disappear to reflect on himself; rather, his presence is meant for nothing but to scheme how to cause trouble.
"Oswald, stop talking nonsense. I'm not with you!” I retorted in fury immediately. My whole body flushed red, and my eyes glared at him in indignation.
Hurriedly, I turned to Wyatt anxiously to clarify myself. A fierce and cold pressure began to emit from Wyatt, and his face had turned gloomy!
Upon seeing Wyatt's expression, my stomach flipped in fear. It can't be that Wyatt believed Oswald, can it?
I grabbed Wyatt's right arm, shook my head fiercely, and raised my head to stare at him. “Hubby. Honestly, I'm not with him. Believe me.” I spoke up hurriedly, trying to clarify myself.
Wyatt’s jaw clenched, and he stared at me with glazed eyes and a detached expression.
A pained whimper spilled past my lips immediately. Upon seeing Wyatt's expression, my heart seemed to have been clenched tightly, making it hurt a lot.
Angrily, I directed a glare at that stupid scummy Alpha. It's Oswald's fault! If it weren't for him, Wyatt wouldn't be staring at me with such cold, glazed eyes!
Suddenly, a thought clicked in my head. Hurriedly, I raised my hands and grabbed Wyatt's arm again, my eyes widening. “Wyatt, I'm really honest. I promise I won't leave you for anyone else…” I declared sincerely and bit my lower lip anxiously.
If Wyatt doesn't believe me this time, then there's nothing I can do again to show my sincerity. The thought of Wyatt not believing me made my eyes pool with tears immediately.
Hearing my promise, Oswald's gaze darkened, and he took an overwhelming step forward, but before he could take the second step towards us…
Wyatt’s lips curved up, and he bent slightly to kiss my forehead before languidly staring at Oswald provocatively, his chin raised.
“I trust Maia Hayes,” Wyatt whispered in a deep, husky, flirty voice. He untucked my lower lip before biting it sensually.
Joy stirred in me immediately, and my face flushed due to embarrassment.
Wyatt wrapped his large hand around my waist and drew me closer. “Sexy and adorable at the same time, I won't let you go tonight.” He conveyed in a deep, husky tone.
I couldn't help trembling. This lustful Alpha. Does. Does he have to do this every time? My waist, back, and legs will stop functioning at this rate!
"Later, when Mom asks us to stay, tell Mom you have to read for the exam…” Without completing or bothering to explain himself, Wyatt directly carried me up and strode towards the dining room, not paying attention to Oswald anymore.
A few seconds of processing made me realize that I had just been tricked by Wyatt again.
I puffed my cheeks and glared at Wyatt angrily, only for him to smirk and lift his chin domineeringly.

Recalling Wyatt's talk about our night scene. My face flushed, and I smacked my lips together before glaring at him again.

I smacked my lips together and glared at him in grievance. “What?”

I couldn't help eyeing his face due to how handsome he looked. Although Wyatt looked lean and a bit different due to the amount of work Oswald had been making him go through, Wyatt’s current state didn't affect Wyatt’s peerless handsomeness at all; rather, it added a certain charm to his handsomeness.
This man will always look handsome, no matter how.
Even models will be put to shame when they come across Wyatt's well-sculpted and impeccably handsome face and figure.
I pursed my lips and quickly looked down, afraid that the scheming Wyatt would find out what I was thinking about me having no intent of doing according to his words.
I buried my head in his chest, and a thought suddenly flickered through my mind. Wyatt is so cold like this; was he a happy kid when he was young, or has he always been an iceberg since he was young? I find myself curious to know the answer!
Thinking like this, I raised my head and stared into Wyatt's eyes determinedly. “Can you bring me to your room? I want to check it out.” I raised my neck and blinked my eyes while biting my lower lip.
Suddenly, my vision darkened due to Wyatt's palm covering my face.
My face scrunched up immediately, and I quickly extended my hands to remove Wyatt's hand, but before I could, his finger familiarly untucked my assaulted lower lip from my teeth before he removed his hands of his own accord.
Wyatt gulped, his Adam's apple bobbled, and his black eyes darkening. He lowered his head and bit my lower lip slightly. “Enchantress, we can check it out after the meal.” He stated in a husky tone.
This lustful man! My face reddened, and I quickly buried my face into Wyatt's chest. Does Wyatt have anything else to think about? Huff! “Ok,” I replied, my voice thin and tiny due to embarrassment.
As soon as we arrived in the living room and Wyatt placed me on my feet, Natalie beamed and beckoned at me excitedly. “Maia, come. I want you couples to sleep here for the night; you have no problem, do you?” She asked me, her beautiful eyes filled with anxiety as if she were afraid that I'd reject her.
My eyes lit up, and I shook my head immediately. “I have no problem…. Ouch!” My happy reply was cut off with a painful cry due to Wyatt's subtle action of pinching my waist.
My face whipped to the side, and I glared at Wyatt in grievance.
Wyatt turned to meet my gaze with a straight face. I pursed my lips and smacked them together. Such a two-faced bully. Inwardly, I accused Wyatt.
‘Tricking? Good.’ Wyatt suddenly mindlinked me, his voice having danger laced with it.
I couldn't help shivering slightly due to petrification, but in the next minute, I took a deep breath to snap out of my fear.
Anyway, I believed Wyatt couldn't do anything to me here, and once we arrived home, I'd fawn over him and pamper him so his heart could soften.
Thinking like this, I calmed down immediately. ‘I…’
