Chapter 235 We Need To Fuck

Chapter 235 We Need To Fuck
Oliver found a door slightly ajar in Saint's hallway and slowly approached it.

He peeked inside and sighed.

Takeshi was standing beside the window in the empty room, a lit cigarette between his lips.

"Seriously? Smoking in one of Saint's rooms?" Oliver questioned, slowly approaching Takeshi.

Takeshi ignored him, looking out the window like he was the only person in the room.

"Why are you even here?" Oliver asked again, pausing his steps behind Takeshi.

No answer.

He inhaled and glanced at the door. They needed to get downstairs so he could hear what his cousin had been up to with Rode, but Takeshi was being difficult.

"I shouldn't have shouted at you..." Oliver murmured, aware he owed an apology.

"Then why did you?" Takeshi finally turned, locking his hazel eyes with Oliver's blue orbs.

Oliver gently plucked the cigarette from Takeshi's lips, waving his hand in front of his face to clear the smoke Takeshi blew at him.

"I'm sorry," Oliver murmured, using his thumb to quench the light at the bottom of the smoking cigarette.

"I don't need your apology, blonde. I just want to know why you did it. Do you think less of me because—"

"You know I'm not judging your past or your desires—"

"But you just don't want to partake in those desires, am I right?" Takeshi asked slowly, narrowing his eyes.

Oliver sighed, "Are we still talking about the same thing?" He questioned.

"Whatever," Takeshi muttered and shrugged past Oliver.

"He's still bratty," Oliver stared at the door where Takeshi had stormed through and wondered what was really going on inside Takeshi's head.

Who randomly asks for sex from someone he doesn't fully trust? And not just any sex, the BDSM and whatnot.

Baby was a long-learned lesson; he was never offering his heart on a platter to anyone again—it had been broken enough.

With a sigh, he left the room, ready to meet Kai and his traitor boyfriend downstairs.

Downstairs, Kai walked into the living room with an easy smile on his face, Rode trailing right behind him with his face lowered.

"It's nice for you to drop by... with your 'boyfriend', who happens to have set us up with his crazy bitch mother—"

"Cam..." Kai called, his eyes turning serious as he shook his head at his friend. "Don't, please," he said, glancing around the living room at the unpleased faces of the men sitting around it.

"What makes you believe he's not setting us up as we speak? Because you spent a night with him?" Baby asked, frowning.

Rode balled his fists, slightly lifting his face to stare at the faces of his ex-friends. They were all so disappointed in him, and maybe he deserved it.

"Why are you late, Malakai?" Saint questioned slowly.

Kai cleared his throat and gently wrapped his arm around Rode's waist, pulling him to his side.

"It's okay," he whispered softly before lifting his head to the group.

"Firstly... my baby is innocent." He started.

Cam scoffed, barking out a laugh. "Did you guys hear him? He's calling a dangerous mafia boss his baby. Kai has either gone crazy or he's with them," he stated.

"Details, Malakai," Saint ordered.

"Rode is really innocent. It's easy to tell, really," Takeshi climbed down the stairs. "Sup, stepbro?" He waved at Rode as he settled himself on the sofa once more.

"Hey..." Rode murmured.

"I don't believe that," Oliver added, following behind Takeshi.

Takeshi shrugged. "You never believe anything I say."

"Can you not?" Oliver mouthed.

Takeshi rolled his eyes, crossing his legs.

"Someone... anyone... explain something to us. I am honestly dying to hear why Rode went all mafia on us," Wong groaned quietly.

"What he said," Cassian nodded.

"I—"

"I've got this," Kai lifted his hand to stop Rode from running through the long, personal information process.

"I'd love to share everything in detail, but I'll make it short." Kai led Rode to a free sofa and gestured for him to sit.

He pulled his phone from his pocket and pushed his dark curls away from his eyes as he concentrated on the screen.

"The summarized detail is that Anna is a pedophile," Kai said, his voice dropping into a flat, deadly serious register that cut through the low tension in the room like a blade.

The living room went dead silent. Cam's scoff died right in his throat.

Kai didn't pause to let them digest the shock. He tapped a few times on his phone screen before stepping back to rest a protective hand on the back of Rode's sofa.

"She's been abusing, trafficking, and psychologically grooming him since he was nine years old," Kai continued smoothly, his dark eyes sweeping over the frozen, skeptical faces of his friends. "She used a trauma bond, blood oaths, and physical violence to turn him into her cover, her proxy, and her leverage. The night you guys got cornered? He was forced to sign a digital contract under threat of having a bullet put through my head—and every single one of yours."

He pressed a button on his phone, and everyone's phone pinged with a notification.

"You want proof? On your phones are the records from yesterday and the night at the garage. And, attached to it is the document that shows that Anna is the owner of the garage with Georgia, and Lawrence as associates."

Saint stared at his screen with narrowed eyes. Indeed, Kai delivered.

"Rode didn't betray us," Kai said, looking directly at Saint, then at Cam and Oliver. "He sacrificed his own freedom to keep us breathing. So if anyone in this room has a problem with him being here... I love you guys and all, but if you're pushing your friend out over a misunderstanding, I'd gladly leave with him."

"Told you so," Takeshi smirked at Oliver.

"You should have told us..." Cam murmured.

"Years of friendship with you and you hid something like this from us... not cool," Baby frowned, crossing his arms over his chest. He looked over at Rode, his expression softening just a fraction. "But I'm really glad you're not the villain." His lips tugged into a smirk.

"I'm fucking relieved," Cam sighed, letting himself relax against the backrest of the sofa. "I'm not gonna lie, Rode scared the shit outta me." He chuckled nervously.

"Well... I'm sorry for doubting you, man," Oliver said, giving Rode a gentle, reassuring smile.

Rode looked up, blinking slowly at the sudden shift in energy around the room. He let out a ragged breath he felt like he'd been holding for a decade, his tense shoulders finally dropping as the suffocating defensive walls around him began to crumble.

Saint stepped forward, his expression softening as he offered a rare, genuine look of remorse. "I'm sorry for doubting you, Rode," Saint said, his voice firm yet warm. "Knowing what you were carrying... I should have trusted your character. Welcome back."

Rode offered a small, weary, but entirely sincere smile, finally letting himself truly relax into the cushions beside Kai, who gave his knee a comforting squeeze.

"So," Wong leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees, breaking the heavy emotional air, "now that we know you're on our side, how do you plan to take down Anna and Georgia?"

Rode looked across the room, his jaw tightening slightly at the mere mention of their names. "She thinks she has complete control because of that digital contract and the garage setup. But her network is entirely dependent on the digital logs and the main server hosted out of her estate. If we hit the server while cutting off their financial flow—"

"Save it for the big day," Saint interrupted smoothly, cutting him off with a wave of his hand. He leaned back against the kitchen island with a confident, chilling smirk.

Rode tilted his head, narrowing his eyes in confusion. "What big day?"

"The day Baby and I play the big match against the Ironwood Ravens," Saint explained, his eyes glinting with a dangerous, calculated light. "I want them to think they've won. I want Anna and Georgia sitting comfortably at the top, feeling completely untouchable. And when they least expect it—right in the middle of their celebration—we expose every single file, every transaction, and every trafficking record straight to the authorities and the public."

Cassian nodded slowly, a dark grin spreading across his face. "Let them dig their own graves a little deeper first. Give them enough rope to hang themselves."

Just as they started to chat amongst themselves, excitedly hashing out the preliminary strategy, the front door rattled violently on its hinges. Before anyone could react, Kora arrived, storming uninvited into the house with wild eyes and a frantic, erratic energy, instantly demanding that everyone leave her sight.

Takeshi scoffed loudly from the sofa, eyeing her up and down with sheer amusement. "What's your deal? Are you the patient reported missing from the local asylum?"

Kora glared daggers at Takeshi, her chest heaving as she pointed a trembling, manic finger toward the door. "I said, everyone out! Now! Get out of my house!"

Baby smiled, completely unbothered, as he leisurely crossed his legs. "The last time I checked, sweetheart... this is not your house."

Kora suddenly turned smug, a triumphant, unhinged smile spreading across her face. She crossed her arms, lifting her chin high. "Saint is my husband, and I have come to consummate our marriage. Right here, right now."

The room plunged into an immediate, awkward, and stunned silence. Even the air seemed to freeze.

"Just like that?" Cassian asked, raising an eyebrow in pure, unadulterated disbelief.

Saint rubbed the bridge of his nose, letting out a long, exhausted sigh as he stepped forward to manage the disaster. "Kora, calm down. We need to talk. This isn't how any of this works."

She cut him off instantly, stepping closer with a wild, desperate look in her eyes. "No! We don't need to talk! We need to fuck... now."

Takeshi chuckled darkly under his breath, leaning his head over toward Oliver. He whispered sarcastically, "They remind me of us. Oh, wait... there is no us." He rolled his eyes dramatically, scoffed under his breath, and looked away.
