As she said those words, heads up! As a lawyer, she walked away without turning back!

‘You are doing such stupidity, Elena. My daughter doesn’t know about martial arts but since that you barked the Mondragon, I’m pretty sure that they are closely guarding her,’ she whispered as she left without looking back again.

MEANWHILE, Elena Gomez clenched her palms and gritted her teeth to suppress her anger. She knew it very well that the btch got her by there statements.

She is really thankful to have him as his boss. According to her mother, he was an acquaintance of her late father that made him to promised a position for her when she will graduate in any course. And that’s what had happened few years ago. Right after her graduation in college, she started working with his company.

“Its been a while since I became a member of your company, Sir. But II couldn’t  remember that I say thank you  to you and your family. How luck I am, Sir, to be with your team. You are not only boss to me but a father. Grateful is understatement to be used. That is why, I will suggest as well to let me work even it’s online. Because I can not be away from my job for a whole month.”

“Sweetheart, where have you been? Did you forget already what the doctor told you?” Her welcomed  her with a worrying words.

“Oh, I’m so sorry, Mom, for always making you worry most of the time. About your question, no I haven’t. But I reported to my boss for my sick leave. Don’t  worry for now, Mom. I’m  not going anywhere for the whole one month. My Boss allowed me to work online as I’ll recover and restore my health,” she explained as she kissed her to the forehead.

“That’s great, sweetheart. Because I don’t you to meet those bastard once again. I’m  currently working for the temporary restraining order and a declaration,” she said once again.

She understand her worries. But what she can’t get is the last part of her mother’s word.

“Hmmm... I know that you are only doing these matter for me, Mom. But I’m afraid that they  will come after you as well. What if you will get hurt as well? No, Mom, please. What they have done to me is not a kind of joke yet it doesn’t mean that they will stay still.” She worriedly begged.

“Sweetheart, that is why I used a word declaration. Because it is a statement from the court that if something gonna happen to us, no other is to blame than them. I am a lawyer, sweetheart,” her mother said as she smiled to her.

Upon hearing it, Stephanie smiled. Her mother was right. Throughout her life, ever since she became aware of her surroundings, it was only her half-sisters who were always in the middle or the enemies of her and her mother.

“You too, Mom. Please be careful in dealing with them. Hmmm, I’m going to my room now, Mom. I will sleep for a while. Those medicines  that I’m taking makes me always sleepy,” she answered.

“Go ahead, sweetheart. I will wait for your dad to come home. I need to consult this matter to him. Remember that he is working within the inner court of this country.”  Mrs Fuentebella-Saavedra immediately agreed to her daughter.

‘If they want to have a dirty fight, I will let them taste anger of a person who doesn’t just speak nor open her mouth if is it need,’ she even murmured.

LATER that night...

“W-what are you doing here,  Daddy?  I miss you so much but Mom is here. I don’t want to lost you but that will happen if you will restrain in sneaking here.” She bite her lips as she uttered those words.
