“Come here.”
Those were the only words he said, but they made me weak all over. I stared at him with wide eyes, my heart still beating fast like it could burst out at any minute, my fingers intertwined but still shaky as I tried to control my body from submitting.
I felt confused. The car wasn't that large and he was just a seat away from me, but why do I have this feeling that it’d be dangerous if I went closer?

I rubbed my palm nervously, my eyes still locked with his, but I didn't move.

Alpha Marcus still sat there, but the aura around him had changed. Those energy-filled eyes locked on my eyes and made my eyes burn with fire, then they moved slowly down to my nose. My nose twitched and I inhaled a bit of his scent which did more harm than good. It felt like he was caressing my nose, twinkling it and rubbing it.
I tried to hold back the sound that wanted to escape, and I did.
His eyes moved, and went down to the most dangerous spot—My lips.
Those eyes of his gazed at my lips deeply. My lips burned until they parted, my tongue moved but it didn't come out. I felt my mouth become numb from his gaze, my heart beat continued to rise, and my mouth felt like it was being kissed by him.
The tension seemed to rise in the small space, and when I thought this should end, Marcus didn't stop there, he suddenly stopped crossing his legs, then came closer to me which startled me into closing my eyes deeply.
