Eric's POV
"What was the reason you wanted to help again?" I asked as Oliver huffed picking up a box in a green sweatshirt.
Oliver puffed out his cheeks blushing as he carried the box in. "I told you I just wanted to help out."
"So get good with my son?" I chuckled and he huffed placing the box down.
"Okay that... and to spend time with you." he mumbled and I smiled walking over to him then kissed his head.
Lenny came in with Van making a face. "Who is this man in front of us?" Lenny asked smiling and Cam chuckled as Oliver blushed while I rolled my eyes smiling.
"The same man you've known for a pretty long time." I said.
"A changed man." Lenny said and I grinned as he rolled his eyes now but was smiling.
Lenny glanced at Oliver and smiled. Oliver waved awkwardly before looking down. Van began to run his eyes.
"Ugh it was like just yesterday I was changing Vincent's diaper." Van said.
"Van." Marion laughed as she came downstairs with Vincent who groaned.
"Dad I'm in college do you have to talk about that?" Vincent grumbled as Sammie laughed and Nhemo hopped on his back.
We all ate fried rice with shrimp and Lenny was the first to finish and Nhemo had fallen asleep. Lenny excused himself heading outside. I raised an eyebrow as Van soon followed him. I began to get up and Oliver glanced at me.
'I'll be right back' I mouthed and he looked down nodding.
I headed outside but walked back a bit when I saw Lenny and Van in the porch.
"I feel like he's my nephew.... he has the last name of me... and he resembles my sister slightly." Lenny said and I listened closer.
"Well maybe you should talk to Eric and Oliver about it. Eric knows about the boy and talking to the boy more directly could help Len." Van said kissing his nose and Lenny blushed nodding.
"Umm well I'm know detective but I can help." I said stepping out and Lenny jumped as Van chuckled.
Lenny huffed crossing his arms. "Don't do that, you scared me." he pouted.
"Oops." I said shrugging and smirking making him roll his eyes.

"Night boys!" Van said and Sammie and Vincent waved as we walked out to our cars.
Oliver was walking close to me. I chuckled softly shaking my head. "Your very anti-social." I said and it clicked in my head that so was Lenny
"Yeah yeah, not my fault." Oliver huffed as I unlocked the car.
Lenny ran over huffing and panted slightly. Oliver blinked and so did I.
"Oliver right?" Lenny panted and Oliver nodded standing close to me. "I um." he stood up. "Has your mother ever talked about having a brother?" he asked and Oliver raised an eyebrow.
"Mom never talks about her family, why?" he asked and I glanced over for Van to find him putting a sleeping Nhemo in the car.
"Oh.." Lenny nodded smiling sadly and I frowned. "Well it was nice speaking to you for a bit, bye you two." he said before going to Van's car.
Oliver and I eventually got in my car and I began to drive him home.
"That man is strange." I realized Oliver was talking about Lenny and I laughed.
"Not really, he's a nice guy." I said and he yawned.
"Well why was he so curious about me all of a sudden?" he asked.
"Lenny thinks your his nephew." I said and he blinked.
"Oh... hm.. well why would it matter if I was? I haven't seen him in years if he was. I doubt I'd want to go on little walks and want gifts now." he said and I frowned.
"Oliver, his only family is Van and Nhemo." I said softly and his eyes widen.
"O-Oh I'm sorry I didn't know." he said looking down.
I parked near his mansion-house. I glanced at him and he still stared down at his lap.
Poor or rich we all got struggles.
"Hey, it's okay." I said starting to run my fingers through his hair but he pulled away.
"Night Eric." he said softly and opened the car door getting out as I sighed when he shut it.

"It says it right here." Lenny said jabbing at Oliver's name in the letter.
Van nodded rubbing his back as I stared at it not that quite surprised. I took the letter and read it.
Dear Lenny,
Ollie is walking for a young age. His father is kinda upset his mother didn't give their son his last name but who cares. Ryder and Ollie don't really get along that well unless their sleeping..... I heard your sister's husband got a huge promotion. And their moving..... far far away. They were already not that close by. Well hope you come.... maybe to see them? To see us? Sorry this letter was so short, children crying.
~Love,
Father
The letter even mentioned Ryder. I closed it putting it back in its envelope.
"Is it okay if I show Oliver this letter?" I asked and Lenny nodded as Van pulled him close.
I nodded putting the letter in my back pocket and made my leave. I headed to the university and some students were in the hallways. I waited by Oliver's class and decided to check what class it was. It was a class about business. The bell soon rung and Oliver was the first out of class with Wyatt by his side as usual.
Oliver and Wyatt were talking until they saw me. I raised an eyebrow as Wyatt turned to Oliver wiggling his eyebrows. Oliver blushed looking down. I chuckled guessing what they were talking about.
I followed Oliver to his dorm which Wyatt did the same. As soon as we walked in Ryder was smirking at Oliver then glanced at me then back at him smirking more. Wyatt was laughing and Oliver huffed.
"Alright you two, I have something important to talk about. So the teasing can stop." I said and Ryder booed as Wyatt pouted making Oliver roll his eyes as he closed the door making it lock.
I handed Oliver the letter. Soon Wyatt and Ryder were by his side reading it also. I shook my head at the two but mostly Wyatt. Oliver stared up at me and so did Ryder. Wyatt gasped slapping his cheeks.
"Who's Lenny?" Wyatt asked looking up at me.
"Yeah." Ryder said blinking.
"He's a friend of Eric's." Oliver said softly then looked back down at the letter. "This must be grandfather's writing... I can tell it's so..... old."
Wyatt nodded in agreement as Ryder glanced back down at the letter. "So boys, minus Wyatt;" I said and he gasped. "Want to go talk to Lenny?" I asked and they nodded.
"Why can't I go?" Wyatt pouted.
"Because your annoying." Ryder said and Wyatt shot him a glare.
"Well be back." Oliver said and Wyatt huffed but nodded.
I opened the door for them and Oliver waved at Wyatt before I closed the door. We went outside and headed to my car. I unlocked the doors and Oliver got in the passenger seat while Ryder huffed getting in the back. I started the car and made my way to Lenny's house.
"How come your in the front and I'm older?" Ryder grumbled.
"I'll be nineteen in three weeks." Oliver huffed crossing his arms as I smiled softly.
"Speaking of your birthday is their anything you'd like?" I asked and he blushed muttering as he looked away making me raise an eyebrow.
"Oliver forgot how to speak, don't worry about him." Ryder said and Oliver turned to glare at him.
I shook my head at them as I parked in front of Lenny's house. Oliver took off his seatbelt and I did the same as Ryder was the first to get out. Probably because he wasn't wearing a seatbelt. We eventually got out also as he stood on the porch. I got up the stairs with Oliver onto the porch then knocked the door. The door soon opened and Lenny stood there yawning then blinked.
"Sup." Ryder nodded at Lenny as Oliver glared at him.
"Hi, sorry about Ryder." Oliver said and Lenny glanced at them then me.
****
"Your mother married him?!" Lenny gasped as Oliver fidgeted.
"Um... yeah." Oliver said softly as Ryder rolled his eyes drinking a can of soda and I did the same.
"Well your father was a better man.... and I'm sorry about...." Lenny drifted off his sentence.
"It's okay." Oliver said nodding.
"So how come your father didn't know where you were? Nobody did." Ryder asked and Lenny gulped looking down at his tea making me frown.
"I-I... um..... did father take good care of you?" Lenny asked softly and they blinked then looked at each other then back at him.
"Yeah." Ryder said.
"Of course." Oliver said.
"Why...?" Ryder asked raising an eyebrow.
I wanted to make them stop there. But was it my place? Van would probably had but I'm... not Van.
Lenny looked up smiling with tears going down his face. "Father wasn't a very nice man when I knew him."
