Jason
I lived my life thinking that things would get better if I stayed with Kendall and that I would become a happy person. Since I met her again in London and we ended up remembering the times when we were teenagers dating, my feelings were all troubled, and the love that felt for Kendall in the past had come back strong to the point where I no longer wanted any woman other than her. Not even my wife.
I didn’t see any reason to stay married to Laura since I didn’t love her. Laura had always been my friend, and I ended up marrying her because I was frustrated with Kendall when she decided to break up
with me to make her life an adventure permanent, so Laura was available, and my parents wanted me to get married soon for legal reasons to take over the company and everything.
er
In other words, I had married Laura for the wrong reasons, it hadn’t been for love, but when I saw Kendall again, it was as if I had been so sure in my life that I loved that woman. But after I n her, things started to fall apart too quickly and I realized that K wasn’t the right woman for me.
“Do you want me to cook for you?” She asked once, looking shoc For God’s sake, you can hire the best cook in the entire world to co make your dinner and you still want me to break my nails and b my skin in the kitchen for you?”
“It’s not all about the money, Kendall. It’s just that Laura didn’t mind cooking for me, it was her loving way of taking care of me. So I don’t see why you can’t either, sweetie.” I tried to explain it to her, but Kendall acted like I insulted her.
“I’m not your ex-wife, Jason. She and I are two different people and

sexist by wanting me to cook for you just because I’m your wife!”
“I’m not being sexist, you’re raising the wrong issue here, Kendall,” I tried to explain. By God, I just wanted her to show me some affection like my ex-wife always did to me. I sighed and designated. “Look, you’re right. Laura and you are different people, and I shouldn’t have compared you to her, but please, I need you to remember me from time to time. You always seem to be more concerned about shopping and going on trips.”
That was so true, but Kendall felt offended by my words. “So now I’m the gold digger? For God’s sake, Jason. If Laura is so perfect for you, then why the hell did you break up with her?” She screamed and walked away angrily.
To be honest, that question of hers touched me, and that’s when I started to realize what a mistake I had made. Kendall didn’t get better with time, she just got worse. We didn’t sleep together anymore and didn’t even see each other as often, I no longer had any desire to be with her because she proved to be a greedy woman who only liked to support her fancy life greedily
A while later, I discovered some bad things about Kendall that me open my eyes and realize how stupid I had been to end my marriage to get back with her. I found out that when Kendall lef during college and left the country, she had stolen a lot of money from her rich uncle and went to venture into Europe, and when th money ran out, she started seducing rich men and scamming the for survival. I felt like an idiot when I realized that I had just been scammed by her, even though we had a past together.
Just thinking that I had left Laura to be with a woman like her made me more frustrated. So the same year we got married, I wanted to separate from her, filing divorce papers to get rid of her, but Kendall was smart and perceptive. Of all the scams she pulled, I was by far

Kendall wasn’t just going to pull a small scam, she was going to pull a scam that would make her a billionaire.
The thing was, there was a clause in the marriage contract that I had signed at the time I was blinded by her, a clause that granted practically all of my fortune to her if I wanted to separate from her. I would even give up everything I owned if my fortune wasn’t my
family’s legacy, but I couldn’t destroy an entire empire that my ancestors built so hard just because of my recklessness, so I still had to stay married to Kendall.
But there wasn’t a day in my life that I didn’t think about Laura. I was so sorry, and the regret hurt my soul. I had been a victim of Kendall, thinking I loved her, but that wasn’t the truth because it was Laura, whom I truly loved and always had, but Laura seemed like she would never forgive me.
“Then what will you do?” my friend Terrence asked on the other end of the line. “Are you going to give her up for good?”
“How do I reverse this situation since she acts as if she doesn’t me anymore?” I asked exasperatedly. This was very difficult
with.
“Look, Jason. Laura is practically in the best phase of her life. an independent woman who’s gaining notoriety around the world, doesn’t need you, and you know it. You’re at a disadvantage, frie you’re now just her asshole ex who rejected and abandoned her cruelly, and you have nothing to offer her. Even that guy who’s her partner has more chances with her than you, and just so you know, they’re getting closer,” my friend said.
I liked Terrence because of his loyalty and sincerity, but I didn’t always like him when he was that sincere. I adjusted myself in my car seat, uncomfortable with his sincere words.

“Do you think Laura would marry him?” I asked quietly, afraid of the answer. From the way that guy was taking care of Laura at lunch, I’d say he’s trying hard to win her heart. Laura could be a firm woman and determined not to enter into any more relationships, but always. having that good-looking man around who seemed to care about her, she was going to give in one day.
“I’d say you don’t have good advantages right now,” Terrence said.
“I know, Terrence, but I’m not giving up!” I said it firmly, which made Terrence chuckle.
“Then what will you do?”
“Laura was once my wife, I will do everything to awaken the love she felt for me before.”
“Do you think just because you’ve already been married to her gives you an advantage? I’d say it’s a big disadvantage based on your breakup,” Terrence challenged me.
“Having married her before is a great advantage. I will make her remember why she once loved me. Richard Carter is playing a game with Laura, the game of seduction, but I’m going to teach him how this game is played when the woman in play is my Laura,” I finally said with such firmness. I wasn’t going to give up.
