Derek's POV
I carry a weeping Anna back to our room and it takes her forever to stop crying. She looks devastated as we sit down to finish our talk before she runs to the warriors.
Her eyes are red and puffy making me feel bad as she shudders and wipes at her face.
"I didn't know they were undressed and I swear I wouldn't run in a room to gawk at men", she whimpers out tears still trailing down her face. Our poor baby needs sleep. Look at her, my wolf mutters. Yes but right now we gotta talk about the rogues more and our game plan plus the stuff we are changing.
"We know honey, "Liam says, kissing her head as he hugs her.
"Are you both mad?", she won't look up and I feel her worry and fear that we are pissed.
"no baby we aren't but you can't go running in the locker room with a bunch of our warriors you freaked them out and you were the only she wolf in there. Yes you know Vince and Victor but still the rest were panicking over your visit", I said as her shoulders sagged and she sniffled once again.
"I was just excited for them. I overstepped and now they will hate me. I didn't mean to burst in Derek....Liam I swear", her voice wobbled as we stared down at her. Our mate was in tears all damn day and nothing really helped.
"Anna you need a rest baby and we still gotta talk about the rogues and our plans to ensure they stay back and not try to come and get our boy. I'm gonna call doc to give you a little something to sleep and when you wake we can finish our talk", I left her no room to argue cause we could feel her exhaustion and our wolves were having trouble not flipping out.
"ok",was all she said, looking defeated and my gut clenched as my wolf ordered me to hug her or even make her happy. She wiped her face and Liam looked at me not sure how to take in all of Anna's mood swings. She would be happy as hell one second to this crying mess the next. Liam probably didn't know how to deal because his old mate was a crazy bitch and never been honest from day one.
"Baby, he started as he sat and pulled her in his lap. We just want what is best for you and you look like an exhausted honey, really worn down. We are sorry for putting you in the panic room and it taking so long to come get you. The doctor will come check you and our pup out and give you something to help you rest. We need you to rest honey then we finish talking, okay?", Liam kissed her head and she nodded.
A knock a few minutes later had me opening the door for Doc Todd and an ultrasound machine and his hospital bag. He came in greeted us and approached Anna.
"hi Luna I came to check your pup and you", he smiled as he took out stuff he needed.
"thanks Todd",she looked subdued and I hated it.
"Can you lay down so we can see the pup?" he took out the gell and a wand. After placing it on her little belly we heard a fast swooshing and all of our eyes filled with tears..
"It went so fast", Liam held her hand kissing her knuckles.
"Sounds perfect",I look down at my beautiful mate and say "I love you" to her. She blushes and I smirk.
"Sounds good, guys. Would you like to know the sex?", Todd ask looking at us and we all nod.
"it is a girl", he says and Anna bursts into tears. She looks so happy.
"holy shit",I utter out smiling at our mate. She is giving us a girl.
"oh my God baby I'm so happy ",Liam looks stunned but extremely happy.
"a girl",Anna sounds stunned once she composes herself.
"Yes, a girl, congratulations to the alphas and Luna, "Todd says, smiling. He wipes off Anna's belly and removes the ultrasound machine. He checks her vitals, asks questions about her health and gives her a shot to sedate her. She drifts off and we sit to talk after the doctor leaves.
"fuck bro, a girl. Are you happy about it?" I ask, looking at Anna all cute. We cover her and sit close watching and talking. "Yes I am. are you?"
"yes",I say looking at Anna over at least now she is resting. We talk till our stack growls and we mindlink a cook to make us food. After we eat we sit near Anna and keep talking about everything till she wakes.
"guys, her soft voice snaps me back to reality, I'm hungry".
"What do you want?",we ask and her blush makes us chuckle.
"pickles ",she admits and we smile gotta love pregnancy cravings.
"how about a meal baby and we can order pickles on the side", I said watching her blush. Fuck I love every time she does this and it drives my wolf crazy.
"Yes please. Can I have milk and some sweet tea please", she is the sweetest fucking mate I ever seen. Drives me crazy. "Anything else baby?", Liam mindlinks the cooks after she tells us what she is hungry for. Her face lights up as I scoop her up to bathe before her food is done. Her cute as hell giggle lights up our world and makes the day happier. We dress her in comfy clothes and once her hair is brushed the food is there. We watch her eat till she is full and then we sit and talk more.
"Baby the rogues are gonna keep trying to come here so we gotta have a game plan just in case" I start but she growls.
"well we kill them all",her little voice goes deeper letting us know her wolf is talking.
"That is our plan now, let Anna come back", I alpha order and her wolf retreats. Anna looks sheepish and I pull her in my lap. She kisses my chin and my cock goes hard under her and her eyes widen.
