Primordial Sacrifice 2

Primordial Sacrifice 2
She was looking for the eye. I needed to do something. Ethan could handle himself and the best I could do was lessen the chances of him getting hurt.
Blue flames tickled my fingers with frost biting my claws. The rapid snapping of bones followed as white fur pushed through the skin of my arms and legs to cover my beast-like limbs.
“Release,” I breathed out to myself, throwing my hands forward to push the frost and flames at Vorare, who had pushed a rabid Khalid off him.
Tyler had seemingly blended into the air himself before appearing on a street pole holding his frame with an arm.
The flames swirled into a storm that swallowed Vorare, and icicles protruded in massive sizes out of the heart of it, stabbing through Vorare like knives.
Chanting followed as the wind whistled. I recognized the call of it recognizing the way the sorcery danced in the air. Cressa and the Melbringers arrived from our north with milky white eyes, root tendrils, and shadows that danced with them.
They were still missing the eye.
A roar shattered the ice as they melted in pools of black like tar. I recoiled at the sight of Vorare pushing through like I hadn't stabbed him.
Ethan responded this time traveling through the seconds to stand behind Vorare. In the blink of an eye, his arms stretched through Vorare's Ribs before twisting to yank his arm through the gash.
I tried not to be sick from the horror of Vorare swallowing his arm whole to produce another. Suddenly he spoke, “You.” It was excised in the most morbid way despite Ethan consistently tearing more pieces of it faster than he could regenerate.
Ethan snarled as teeth protruded through his Jaw and he sank them into Vorare's neck before ripping his head off.
In any normal case, that should be a win but Vorare only cackled. “A true Primordial Alpha,” Vorare announced to himself.
Why was he looking at Ethan like that? Like he'd found something he'd been hoping for.
My fear was doubling and my powers were fraying wilder. Lightning struck my left arm. From instinct, I dragged it out to strike Vorare, who was healing his head too fine.
He groaned but he stood regardless.
“This is going nowhere!“ Khalid bellowed as he struck with his claws too, pulling Vorare's legs from under him but all that came apart in his palms was black tar.
Tyler's grunts followed with Ethan's pulsing strength growing thicker as he fought at a speed I could barely keep up with.
Worse of it was that I could feel Ethan's perplexity and an underwhelming sense of danger that he was questioning.
“What should I do? Nothing is working,” I whispered to myself hoping to hear something in my head over the alarming fear that was swallowing me. “I need help, please,” my voice echoed in my head this time as I held my necklace.
I needed to hear from her again. I needed to hear from my mother, Gaiyetre but she was gone! Along with the woman who raised me, and both my fathers. And now if I couldn't do anything, Ethan would join that list.
The loss. I wouldn't be able to handle the loss. My hands trembled as I watched the fight, unable to muster enough will to do something.
Right as I was about to lose my mind, I felt a piercing pain cut into my shoulder through the back and suddenly I felt weaker. “Poor Harlyn, trying so hard has never really worked in your favor,” Becca's voice purred in my ears.
I swung my elbow to hit her, but she caught my arm, twisting it out of place, and I cried out. A kick to the back of my knee and pain traveled through my body when I fell to the ground.
Another slash twisted into my back and I cried out. She was using the Ivory Knife.
“Harlyn!“ My name rang out in different pitches. Ethan suddenly appeared in front of me, but before he could move, Becca's hand thrusted out, slamming a force to throw him back.
Ethan fell to his knees and the parking lot grew silent.
I wasn't healing as fast and my power could barely numb the pain. So it tore through my mind. “Stop!” I tried to fight back, but with another slash of the knife, and I could barely move my body.
My eyes moved to catch a grim-looking Becca with knife cuts all over her arms and a proud, grim expression. “Don't worry, at some point after the fifteenth cut, you start getting used to it,” she offered casually.
“Don't you dare touch her,” Ethan bellowed with a growl but Becca only scoffed at him.
“You don't get to speak mutt.” She raised her hand his way and squeezed the air itself, yet it seemed to pulse between her palm and from the way Ethan's breathing grew erratic. I  knew she was somehow hurting him.
Her other hand rose, and equally, Tyler and Khalid fell in the middle of their sneaking approach. I felt them coming, I hoped she wouldn't but clearly once again, we failed to recognize the threat Becca posed in the face of another.
“Now, as it should have been done,” she grabbed my hair harshly before dragging me with it across the ragged floor of the parking lot.
From the ominous sound of endless twisting and swirling, I knew she was approaching Vorare. I tried to kick back, to push my body against the effects of the knife, but neither of my natures responded.
“Let go of me!“ I protested regardless reaching to pull my hair out of her hands.
She tossed me like a rag doll across the floor, which peeled my skin with every graze. “There you go, one lupomancer for dinner!“ She pointed at me with a satisfied smile burrowing her eyes into Vorare. “She should be enough for you.”
Tears streamed down my face from helplessness. Where was everybody else? I couldn't feel Abigail or the Melbringers that were seemingly there minutes ago.
Was I really going to die like this?
“No,” Vorare suddenly uttered. “I want the Primordial Alpha.“
  My chest sank further. What?
“He'll be the one to free me from my hunger.”
My fears came to reality. Vorare wanted Ethan
