Chapter 136

Chapter 136
Sienna's pov

Did Harrison really love me?

He had answered this question countless times, in every way possible.

Lying wasn't hard, and pretending to love me wasn't hard either.

I didn't feel much of Harrison 's love, but I deeply understood his hatred for me.”
Loving someone didn't mean hurting them over and over, deceiving them, using them to satisfy physical needs, or treating them like a toy to be summoned and dismissed at will.

Sex without love disgusted me; sex filled with hate brought me pain.

My dress was already wrinkled beyond recognition, a custom piece he ordered for me.

Two days ago, he praised how beautiful I looked in it, but now I was wearing it while being forced to endure his desires.

He only needed to lift the hem of my dress to humiliate me.

I was leaning against the desk, with the glass window reflecting our tangled shadows.

Harrison 's hand pressed down on the center of my back, his other hand casually in his pocket, and his body moving rhythmically.

He kept his head down, not looking at me, seemingly focused on where our bodies were joined, with a smile that was hard to decipher.

"Why aren't you resisting?"

The sound of skin slapping was loud, and I instinctively tensed up, my elbow scraping the desk, but I bit my lip hard, refusing to cry out.

In Harrison 's eyes, my resistance was just foreplay. Instead of making things harder for myself, I silently prayed for him to finish quickly.

"Speak!"

His grip on my chin was anything but gentle, his unbearable tone spilling from his mouth, but I couldn't answer Harrison 's question.

He didn't like resistance, but he also had issues with compliance. What did he want from me?

"Is it so good you can't speak? You should've said so earlier, I'll give you everything!"

His more intense movements made it impossible for me to think, desperately breathing but still feeling like I couldn't catch my breath.

Whether I complied or resisted, it didn't earn his compassion.

I just needed to act like I knew nothing. I didn't ask questions, but was an obedient puppet, a sex toy meant to please him, and he might show me a bit of patience and gentleness.

Since we were both so miserable, why did we keep entangling ourselves?

My hands gradually lost strength, my cheek pressed against the cold desk, which made me a bit more clear-headed.

Harrison 's chin pressed against my shoulder, our breaths gradually synchronizing.

In matters of intimacy, Harrison and I were still in sync .

"Are you done?" I said softly with my eyes closed, feeling his arms tighten around me.

"If you're done, go out. The guests are waiting for you. If you're not satisfied, keep going. I'll stay with you."

Soon, I felt his weight on me lighten significantly.

Harrison didn't help me up, leaving me to lie motionless on the desk.

The hem of my dress fell back into place, covering my disheveled state.

I heard the rustling sounds behind me; Harrison was adjusting his clothes.

"If you don't want to attend the birthday party, stay here. The guests won't come in."

The bedroom door closed again, but I didn’t hear it lock.
I should clean myself up now.

But the distance from the desk to the bed seemed to drain all my energy.

My phone was still in the car, and I couldn't contact anyone right now.

There were no spare clothes in the bedroom either.

After regaining some strength, I cleaned myself up and stood in front of the mirror to fix my dress.

There was a hickey on my neck that the dress couldn't cover.

Harrison had done it on purpose.

If it couldn't be covered, then I wouldn't bother.

I didn't want to attend the party. Even if I couldn't leave, I needed to get my phone first.

When I reached the living room, I saw someone unexpected.

Elena, in a black dress, sat leisurely on the central sofa, scrolling through her phone.

"You…"

I had many questions, but didn't know where to start, and Elena might not tell me the truth.

Elena looked up, her eyes full of amusement.

"Sienna , long time no see."

Her eyes were lively, her cheeks flushed.

"Looks like you've had a good couple of months."

I stopped at the coffee table.

Having clashed with her many times, I knew better than to let her provoke me or get too close.

Otherwise, I might fall into her trap.

"Of course, with Harrison by my side, how could things be bad?"

Elena put down her phone, a flash of resentment in her eyes.

"But I see Harrison isn't treating you badly either. You're still his wife, and he's willing to touch you."

I knew she had seen the marks on my neck.

"In your eyes, being Harrison 's plaything isn't bad? If given the chance, would you take it?"

It was clear that Elena hadn't left the country in the past two months.

Zach had implied she was hidden away somewhere in Regal City, but it seemed Harrison kept her in a gilded cage.

"Harrison wouldn't treat me like that. He's gentle with me, afraid of hurting me. I want to give him another son, but he says he doesn't want me to suffer. That's why you get the chance to bear his child, Sienna . You should thank me."

Two months apart, and she was still the same.

"Let's put that aside, Elena. You killed my mother and grandmother. Aren't you afraid I'll kill you now?"

In the face of family deaths, our emotional grievances seemed insignificant.

Zach said today I should expose Elena myself.

I didn't know Harrison 's exact plan.

At least I couldn't be impulsive again.

Adrian's death had already taught me a painful lesson.

"Killed? I just talked to them. You have proof it was me?"

I sneered, "I need proof to sue you, but I don't need proof for revenge. If I kill you now, who will save you?"

"You won't do it." Elena said calmly, "If you were capable of murder, you would've killed me when we met two months ago."

"So you admit you framed me?"

Elena didn't deny it, "Whether I admit it or not doesn't matter. You have no proof, so you can't do anything to me."

She was right.

How did you find proof for something like that? The victims were dead, and with Harrison 's help, Elena could remain free forever.

I laughed, "You've killed so many people. Aren't you afraid of karma?"

Elena stood up, circling the coffee table as she approached me. I immediately stepped back, watching her warily.

She kept moving close, "Karma? Before it comes, I've gotten everything I wanted. It's worth it."

"Why did you use your own son? He's your child!"

Elena stopped, her smile eerie.

"Sienna , come closer. I'll tell you a secret."
