Three Princes and A King

Three Princes and A King

Lilith dropped to the floor, her tears growing louder and louder as they echoed through the walls. Shaking her head, she thought about each of her loves, and the fate of her best friend. “I failed,” she murmured, unable to process the reality of Hectate’s words.

Morrigan rolled her eyes. “Will you get the hell up? I would like to get my dues and your dramatics are holding up the process.”

“Fuck you!” Lilith spat at her. “You don’t deserve any of this.”

Morrigan’s face hardened. “Neither do you, that’s why I’m taking it all.” She bent down, and wiped a tear from Lilith's eyes, and laughed when she turned away. “Don’t be like that sis, I’m just trying to show you the affection you’ve been wanting from me for so long.”

Lilith's breathing labored, and she looked down to the ground. “What else do you want from me, Morrigan. You took everything I’ve ever loved! What else do you want?!”

She leaned in close so Hectate couldn’t hear, “I want your heart, Lil. I’m going to make you watch your best friend die, and then I’m going to enjoy your boyfriends. The emotional damage I’m going to do to you will only make the ultimate gift so much sweeter. Your powers will be mine, and you want to know the first thing I’m going to do with them? I’m going to rip out your fucking heart and keep it on my mantel.” Leaning up, she stood and fought the urge to kick her sister. She turned to Hectate. “No more stalling. I won. Give me what I won.”

Waving his hands, Hectate made the men in the room disappear. “Stand Lilith,” he said, motioning towards her. Shakingly, she stood beside her sister. Motioning his hand again, Samantha appeared in the room. Through teary eyes, she looked at Lilith, the hope in the plunging.

“I-I’m so sorry, Sam,” she cried. “I tried my best, and it still wasn’t good enough.”

Tears streamed down Samantha's face, before she gave Lilith a small smile. Painfully, she choked out. “Tell him I love him, and I love you too.” She closed her eyes, feeling peace flow through her. Her thoughts turned to Chastity, and she gave another small smile.

Hectate raised his palm towards the two sisters. Their bodies jerked forward as purple light pulled from Lilith. She wailed in agony; the pain growing to be more than she could bear. She screamed out loudly, knowing as her life force flowed into Morrigan.

Morrigan chuckled. “I guess I’ll get my wish before I expected."

“YOU A MOTHERFUCKING LIE!” they heard as Jayden darted towards them. Tackling Lilith to the ground, he held her close, taking the pain from Hectate’s magic. “You’re okay, I got you and I’m never letting go,” he said as Hectate stopped.

She looked at him deliriously. “H-How are you here?”

Momentarily ignoring her, he turned to Hectate. “You lucky a brother be hitting the gym because that hurt like shit. I’m angry, and I want to beat your bony ass out of that robe, but I’m trying to be on my classy shit for my lady.” Helping Lilith up, he gave her a smirk. “Ask your fourth how we got here.” he said, pointing to Noah.

She turned, and her mouth dropped at the sight of Noah in his kingly robes. Looking around, she realized the others wore royal robes as well. “What’s going on? I don’t understand,” she whispered.

“I know you didn’t think we would just let you die without fighting for you,” Mason said as he walked towards her and kissed her.

Liam scrunched his face. “And certainly not to that thing who claims to be your sister, but is giving me swamp monster vibes.”

Still confused, her eyes shot towards Noah. He walked towards her and his brothers moved away as he pulled her close. “We love you Lil. This shit won’t change that. We’re here because we fought to be here, and now we need you to fight for us.” He leaned in and his lips brushed hers. “It took me forever to be able to stand by your side, and if you’re just going to willingly lose me…well that’s flat out pisses me off.”

“B-but I lost..I have no say,” she cried, pulling away from him.

He faced Hectate. “Give her another chance.”

“That’s not possible,” Hectate replied, before pointing at a fuming Morrigan. “All or none that are the rules, I cannot change them. I’m not sure how you’re here, but it doesn’t change what is to be.”

“They’re here because…yeah fuck those rules,” Calchas said, walking from the shadows towards Samantha. “You elders took the love of my life from me, and if you think I’m going to let you take the other without a fight, you’ll just have to kill me now, because I’m not letting her die, unless I die by her side.” He rubbed her face. “Whatever happens, I’m not leaving you.”

“NO!” Morrigan screamed. “I don’t care what you all want to say. Love or whatever bullshit, I won, and that’s it.”

Walking swiftly towards her, Noah's eyes whitened as his face held a snarl. “You won because you fucking cheated, and I can prove it.” He turned to Hecate. “Bring that piece of shit head board member back.”

Confused, Hectate waved his hand and produced Bruxo. “What is the meaning of this?” Hectate asked.

Noah grinned. “You want to tell him, Brux, or should I? How Morrigan fucked you in order to get an answer to the fourth task?”

“No, I didn’t!” Morrigan shouted. “You can’t prove that.”

Noah laughed. “Yes I can, because you’re sloppy and let your hatred for Lilith make you do stupid things.” He turned to Hectate. “Morrigan made the idiotic decision to sleep with our Bruxo here in Lilith’s room at the hotel.” He saw her face pale, and he shook his head. “The thing that Morrigan didn’t consider is that Lilith has cameras set up in her room.”

Hecate waved his hand and produced the image of Lilith’s room. Seeing himself, Liam's face reddened. “Just-uh…scroll past that, we were getting a little experimentive.”

“Yes…well,” Hectate said, embarrassed, before scrolling, accidentally landing on Jayden and Mason. He turned towards them, and they both let out a cough.

“This incubus shit really makes us kinda attack Lil,” Jayden said. “Keep scrolling because the things we did that night, trust me, you don’t wanna see.”

Hectate continued to scroll. He stopped and tilted his head, seeing Lilith and Noah. “How does one-”

“KEEP SCROLLING!” Noah yelled, ignoring the wide eyes of his brothers. “We had a lot of making up to do,” he grumbled.

Seeing the image of Morrigan and Bruxo come into view, he stopped.

“So I just need to say this exactly and this will help me win?” Morrigan asked on the tape.

Bruxo nodded. “Of course, trust me, it is the best idea. Now-” he leaned forward and grabbed her. “About my part of the bargain.”

“But of course, and don’t worry, once I win, you can completely destroy that fucking library, but in the test I need you to say that you’ll keep it.” She kissed him, and he nodded before slowly undressing her.

“Make it go away before I need to bleach my eyes!” Liam shouted.

Hectate turned to Morrigan. “This is cheating, and proves that you haven’t won.”

Noah chuckled. “But that’s not all, is it Bruxo? See, his plan already backfired and put the city in even more ruins. Outsourcing allowed other realms to steal and make knockoff versions of their ideas. On top of that, they use of shitty materials caused flaws with their products. Many of the dolls have already been recalled and multiple complaints have been filed, all centered towards the original company…Bruxo’s company.” He shook his head. “Congratulations, you placed your city in ruins all for some pussy.”

“I-I-” Bruxo stammered, unable to form a rebuttal.

Ignoring him, Noah turned to Hecate. “Lilith deserves another chance. Allow her to clear her mind and think of a true solution.” Saying nothing, Hectate nodded, and Noah walked over and grabbed Lilith’s weakened body in his arms. “You’re not losing me Lil. You’re not losing any of us. For every fight we’ve been through, for all the times we disconnected, you know me, you just don’t realize it, but you know me.” He leaned up and looked at her. “You say that you love me, and I love you with everything in me, but I told you I need to be on the same playing field as my brothers. Show me that I am. Love me the way you love them because if you can’t, I swear to you Lilith, you’ll break my heart.”

Lilith looked deep into his eyes, and hers began to tear. Hearing the beg in his words, she caressed his face. She leaned in and kissed him deeply before turning to Hecate. “I can’t believe I didn’t figure it out before. I know the answer.”
