The Next Day

Lilith watched Jayden walk into the hotel. His muscles taut, he looked at her with a sinful grin. Approaching the counter, he tilted his head but remained quiet.

"Jayden…” She stumbled out.

"Lilith…”

Her eyes immediately purpled. His grin widened at her response, and she looked at his sharpened canines. "You feeling okay?” She asked.

He shrugged. "Could be better, but it is what it is.” Lilith couldn’t help but continue to look at his mouth. He licked his lips. "What’s going on in that mind of yours Lil?” '

"NOTHING!”

He laughed. "You sure?” He leaned out and placed his hand over the top of hers. “I’ll play nice for now, but only because I need to talk to Samantha.”

Lilith’s skin prickled. "O-okay…” She escorted him towards the long corridor. The moment they hit the dimly lit area, Jayden pulled her into his arms. Clasping her face, he kissed her passionately making her moan in response. He took her hand and placed it onto his erect manhood.

"Jayden-woah…” Samantha murmured wide-eyed. She looked at Lilith, who shook her head acknowledging the change. "Lilith, can I speak to you for a moment?” She pulled her arm. "Why the hell does Jayden look taller and more-“

"Fuckable than his usual fuckable self?” Samantha nodded feverishly. "I told you something weird is going on! Liam was the same way. He ripped me apart yesterday and I still couldn’t stop going at it with him. His body was all..." She inhaled sharply at the memories. "Fuck, let me not think about it. It’s like this new aura around them, it makes me all horny.“

"Shit, you’re not the only one.” Samantha pointed to the other Succubi who were slowly encircling Jayden. Eyes purpled, locked on him, Lilith could hear the wisp of their calls.

Jayden chuckled and again she could see his sharpened canines. "Sorry, but unless your name is Lilith…not interested though very flattered.” He turned to her. "Now, are you two going to keep whispering, or is it my turn to speak to Sam?” Samantha joined him at his side, and he handed her the container. "I was hoping that you may be able to tell me what this is without asking where it came from.”

She looked it over. "Maybe. I’ll need to try a few things.”

Giving her an appreciative smile, he leaned into her. "Thanks, and don’t tell Lil.”

Samantha felt a shiver go down her spine and her face immediately reddened. "Okay” She blurted out, before darting towards the machine.

Jayden joined Lilith by her side and pointed. "How’s this going?”

She smiled. "Great. Here look watch.” She beckoned for Samantha to turn it on. As she hit the switch, Jayden’s body jerked. He held onto Lilith, and she could feel his nails in her back. His eyes closed; she saw his body reacting to the sexual energy pulling from the machine.

“TURN IT OFF SAM!”

Samantha turned it off, and Jayden breathed in deeply. His body stiff, he let out a small growl before opening his eyes. Lilith and Samantha looked at him. "Lilith, maybe you should take him outside for some air.”

Lilith grabbed onto Jayden, and they vanished from the hotel. Walking into the room, Melanie turned to Samantha. "What was that noise?”

She shook her head. "Honestly, I don’t know. Jayden was acting pretty weird around the machine so Lilith vanished him out.”

"Acting weird how? Has he been the only one? What about Lilith?”

Samantha arched her brow. "Just weird. I think the sound waves are too high frequency or something, but I’m sure he’s fine. Nobody else including Lilith reacted any way but normal”

Melanie sighed in relief. "Oh okay then.” The more Samantha stood next to her wife, the more uncomfortable she felt. Like every alarm bell going off at once, she moved slightly away. Hiding the container deeper inside her jacket, she gave Melanie a small smile. "I’m going to take a nap.”

Melanie nodded absentmindedly.

I need to find where those two went

She waited for Samantha to exit the room and vanished to look for Jayden and Lilith.

Lilith's lip parted in ecstasy as Jayden held her throat. She sat on him in the back of his car, the two enthralled with one another. Sahir jerked her hair and smashed her face against the wall. His eyes red, he glared at her. "You really are fucking stupid. You should have stayed hidden especially after all of your fuck ups.” He grabbed her face hard between his fingers and snarled at her.

"No...” She tried to scream but he quickly vanished them away.

"What’s the matter mistress?” Mason asked rubbing Lilith’s back. After confirming with Samantha about the another 2 A.M surge, she sent her to find as much information as she could about the princes and the king.

"I-I just wanted you to stay the night with me that’s all.” If she was right, Jayden would appear next in her dream. If that was the case, Mason would experience some type of change. She kissed his fingers. "You sure you’re feeling alright?”

Mason laughed. "For the millionth time yes I’m perfectly fine Lil.”

He kissed her shoulders and she turned and kissed his cheek. "Let’s cuddle tonight okay?”

He smiled. "You know I would never say no to that.” Pulling her into his arms, he whispered against her ear. "I didn’t want to worry you, but we can’t find Noah.”

Lilith popped up. "WHAT?!”

He patted her arm. "It’s just…Liam and Jayden said they’d been feeling weird so they tracked me down and made me come back from the college. When we tried to find Noah, they said he’d left the conference early. He’s not at his penthouse and his pilot is still in Houston…”

Lilith covered her mouth. "Do you think Sahir…”

He shook his head no. "I don’t know how to explain it Lil, but Jayden and Liam said they can feel that he’s not dead. I tried to ask how they knew, but they just kept saying they knew and that they were going to find him and that I REALLY needed to be here with you. So I was really happy you beat me to the punch.”

Lilith settled back into his arms, her mind still on her four favorites. Pulling out her phone, she tried to call Noah whose phone went straight to voicemail.

Eventually hearing Mason’s soft snore, her body started to calm.

Lilith's body jerked up and she looked to the clock.

2 AM

She felt Jayden’s mark on the other side of her neck. Lilith placed her hand between her legs and shook her head.

Fucking hell. Dreams are as fufilling as real life.

Reaching over, she realized Mason was sitting up. His breath ragged, his eyes closed. "Mason…are you okay?”
