Estelle was intubated on the bed, and the ECG monitor beside showed all her vital signs.

‘Why did she bleed so much? What exactly had happened to her?’ Cristofer thought.

“Excuse me, please. We need to send this lady to the emergency room immediately,” the nurse said as she pushed him away. Then she asked the others to push the transport stretcher into the emergency room quickly.
After the door of the emergency room was closed, the light with the words “In Operation” above the door was on.
It was already after midnight when Rebecca got the news and arrived at the hospital.

“I won’t tell you!” Rebecca responded angrily and then anxiously looked in the direction of the emergency room.
Cristofer felt as if he was almost driven mad. He stared at her, and his countenance shifted softly, “Tell me. Rebecca, I beg you. Please tell me what on earth Estelle has...”
Rebecca quickly pushed him away, rolled her eyes at him in disgust, and said in a deep voice, “I don’t know what was wrong with her either. When she had an attack, she sweated all over in pain, and her face turned pale. She said that she had an appendectomy before, but I think that she was lying. Since she didn’t want to tell me the truth, I didn’t ask more. You should know her better than I do. If she doesn’t want to let us know something, no matter how many times we ask her, she won’t tell us the truth.”
