“Sketch? Nowadays, we designers all finish our design drawings using design software. No one will draw sketches. Does she come from the Middle Ages?”
“She can’t even use designing software. Is she really a designer?”
“Fifteen minutes? Even with software, one can’t finish the design of so many pieces of jewellery in such a short time. How dare she say that she can do it without software? Is she serious?”
For a moment, the meeting room was full of noises. Some people whispered and laughed at Estelle, and some spoke loudly to show their disdain for her. They all didn’t think much of her.
Only Bob, probably because of the relationship between Cristofer and Estelle, talked to her politely, “Miss. Hudson, are you sure you can draw the sketches of the whole set of jewellery within fifteen minutes?”
“If I’m not sure...”
Bob mistakenly thought Estelle was saying she was not sure, so he asked anxiously, “Then why did you say you could do it?”
“If I’m not sure about it, I won’t make such a promise. I fight, no fight unprepared. This is my principle of doing things,” Estelle said. “Please trust me. However, after she got the drawing tools, there was still a problem. The meeting room was full of people, and there was no empty seat.
Estelle then walked to the wall and pressed the sketch pad against it. “Bob, please tell me the size data.”

There was indeed a lot of size data, and it took Estelle two pages to write down all of them.
The set of jewellery contained a lot of gemstones of different sizes. In addition to them, she would also need to memorize the hook’s diameter, the length of the necklace, the size of the brooch, and so on.
It took Estelle three minutes to memorize all the data. After that, she concentrated on drawing sketches.
“Pass me the pencil compass, please.”
Bob handed her the pencil compass immediately.

“Yes, yes,” Bob said and handed her the eraser.
Estelle took it and erased some of the pencil marks, revealing a small blank area.
“What is she drawing?”

While the others were laughing at Estelle, Tim gradually sat up and fixed his eyes on the design drawing with a serious look.
Estelle only had a black pencil, so logically speaking, she couldn’t colour the jewellery.
However, she managed to make her two-dimensional drawing look like a three-dimensional image with her only pencil. She coloured the pendant of the necklace black and then used the eraser to erase the redundant marks. In an instant, the drawing showed fine effects of light and shade. And from afar, the pendant looked like an obsidian, vivid and lifelike.
After finishing drawing the necklace with the most complicated details, she drew the earrings and the brooches.
After a while, Tim looked at the time and said, “You have one minute left.”
Hearing this, Estelle hurried to draw the ring. And at the last second, she added pendants to the earrings.
“Time is up,” Tim said.
“I’ve finished,” Estelle said as she took off her design drawing from the sketch pad and handed it to Tim. “Mr. Roberts, please have a look.”
Bob was the nearest to Tim. When seeing the design drawing, he was stunned and said, “Oh my God, Mr. Roberts, this is so amazing.”
Estelle not only finished the design drawing within ten minutes but also modified the inappropriate parts of the previous design.
“It’s a nice painting. But is it the right size? I don’t think that she can measure the size more precisely than the designing software.”
“She was just playing to the gallery in this way.”
