Chapter 55 Chapter 55: I Must See Her Today
After a while, the pill finally took effect. Estelle shook the bottle and found that there were only a few pills left.
It had been only a few days, and she almost finished all the twenty pills.
She said in a weak voice, “Mr. Hans if I win, let me see Yvonne. As for the custody of her, I will try my best to regain it.”
When she stood up, she was too weak to stand steadily, but she looked firm. She took out a cue from the shelf and held it in her hand. “Let’s start the game.”
Rebecca had been following her for fear that she would fall to the ground and said worriedly, “Estelle, are you okay? Be careful.”
“Don’t worry. I’m all right,” Estelle said, patting Rebecca’s shoulder.
During her pregnancy which lasted nine months, she had to endure the sharp pain in her lung every day.
Compared with the pain in her lung, the pain in the surgical incision was insignificant.
When she was pregnant, she could bear the pain for the sake of Yvonne. Now to get a chance to see her daughter, Yvonne, she could also endure the pain.
“Mr. Hans, who will start first?” She asked.
Cristofer had been staring at her with his eyes full of pain, confusion, and doubts.
“Lady first.”
Estelle nodded and said, “Thank you.”
After saying that, she bent down and finished a perfect shot.
Then she hit the balls into the pockets one after another. Soon, only the cue ball and two objective balls were left on the table.
Estelle stood up and took a deep breath to calm herself down. Then, she bent down again and aimed at a point far away from the balls.
Rebecca looked at her anxiously and asked, “Estelle, you are mistaken. The two objective balls are there!”
Ingemar explained, “Miss Hudson will take advantage of the rebound angle and hit two balls into the pocket together.”
“What?”
“Wow...”
“Will she make it?”
“But it’s too risky. If she fails, Mr. Hans is very likely to turn the tables and win.”
At this time, Louis, who couldn’t watch this, strode over and pressed Estelle’s hand.
Then he said, “Estelle, you just need to hit one more ball into the pocket to win. Why do you still want to take a risk?”

“It’s okay. It’s all in the past, and I don’t care about it. I just want my daughter,” Estelle said as she pulled her hand out of Louis’, aimed the ball again, and hit the cue ball.
The ball spun and rolled extremely fast and hit the table’s cushion. Then it hit the two remaining objective balls.
The next second, an objective ball went into the middle pocket.
The rebound force pushed the cue ball away, and the cue ball rolled towards the other objective ball.
Finally, the last objective ball fell into the bottom pocket, meaning Estelle won.
Many people in the crowd gasped in amazement.
Estelle put the cue back on the shelf and said softly, “Mr. Hans, I win.”
Cristofer looked at her without saying anything.
“I want to see my daughter today,” She said.
“You can’t see her today.”
“Why?” Estelle said in a hurry. “We’ve agreed that as long as I win...”
Before she could finish her words, Cristofer interrupted her and said, “Yes, I said that as long as you won, I would let you see Yvonne. But I didn’t say when I would let you see her. I’m busy tonight. Let’s make it on another day.”
Hearing that, Estelle was so angry that she slapped him in the face. She used so much strength that her hand was numb and painful.
“You are so despicable as to make a fool of me!” She said with hatred.
Cristofer touched his left face and frowned in pain. Then he sneered and said, “Yvonne’s birth is also the result of you making a fool of me. So we are even now.”
“I wanted to have a second child because I want to save...”
“Because you wanted to save the bastard you gave birth to for another man, right?”
Cristofer interrupted Estelle and snapped, “You came back from abroad and lied to me repeatedly just to get pregnant and save that bastard! Estelle, what do you take me for? A tool? ‘Cristofer is smart. If he wants to, he can figure out everything. But he didn’t. He just didn’t want to believe me.’
“Borrow?” Cristofer shook his head, looked sharply at her, and said, “Today in the jewellery store, it was you who bought that pair of rings that cost about half a million dollars. Miss Miller didn’t have enough money to pay for them at all.”
Estelle was stunned for a second.
She did spend a lot of money today buying that pair of couple rings. But the money was from Mr. Mysterious, not the Hudson family.
Cristofer said, “Millions of dollars are not a small amount. The money you spent was the Hudson family, right?”
Hearing that, Estelle thought, ‘The Hudson family? The Hudson family is long gone! York occupied everything in the Hudson family. The Hudson family has become the Grantham family! My father passed away, and my mother and I were kicked out of the Hudson’s House. Everything in the Hudson family doesn’t belong to us now.’
She wanted to explain to Cristofer, but the next moment, she restrained herself from doing that.
She didn’t want to explain everything to Cristofer anymore.
She had explained to Cristofer countless times in the past six years, but it was all in vain. The result of her explanations was that Cristofer humiliated her repeatedly.
Moreover, she didn’t want to get Mr. Mysterious involved in this matter.
Mr. Mysterious was her saviour who pulled her up from the abyss of suffering. She didn’t want to bring any trouble to him.
“Why don’t you say something?” Cristofer asked.
Estelle sighed and said, “What else can I say?”
“Do you still want to see your daughter today?” Cristofer asked.
“Yes,” Estelle said firmly, “I must see her today.”
“Then come with me,” Cristofer said.
