With a trace of surprise on his face, Victor asked, “Is that your fourth child with her?”
“The third,” Cristofer corrected. “Estelle had a miscarriage and lost the child three years ago. It was a significant emotional blow for her. Later, she adopted Christina. If she ever wants to come here to mourn for the baby, you should be there with her as the baby’s father.”
“You have quite a list of requirements. I can’t remember all of them,” Victor impatiently remarked.
“You must remember them. If you can’t, write them down and save them in your phone’s notes. However you do it, you must remember these instructions! Otherwise, I’ll take everything away from you and make you lose it all!”
Raising an eyebrow, Victor didn’t entirely believe his threats. “The Hans family’s assets are the result of your hard work over the years. Can you really bear to destroy it?”
“I can give them to you. So, yes, I can destroy them if needed. As long as Estelle can have a good life, I’m even willing to sacrifice myself,” Cristofer said firmly.
Shaking his head, Victor sighed, saying, “You’re beyond help.”
“I owe her a lot, and I must repay her,” Cristofer stated. “I’ll be keeping a close eye on you. If you mistreat her, you’ll face the consequences.”
Putting his phone back in his pocket, Victor tilted his head and said with a nonchalant smile, “I thought you wanted to talk about my life over the past years. I didn’t expect you’d invite me here just to teach me how to get along with your beloved woman. Aren’t you curious about me?”
“I am curious about you, but it’s not crucial right now. You want the Hans family’s assets, and I want Estelle to lead a happy life. Whether I know your identity doesn’t affect our goals, so I don’t consider it essential to uncover who you are.”
Victor smacked his lips and nodded, saying, “Fair enough.”
“Be kind to her and the children, and you’ll achieve your desires,” Cristofer advised.
“Let me ask you something, though. Since I’ll be with Estelle in the future, we’ll share a bed daily. Don’t you mind it if I sleep with her?”
Upon hearing this, Cristofer clenched his fists, and veins bulged on his forehead.
“And there’s the possibility that we might have a child together. Can you handle that?”

Observing Cristofer’s reaction, Victor chuckled and continued, “She loves me deeply. I believe she’d be willing to have a child with me.”

“Plus, our child won’t carry the Hans last name. I dislike that family name.”
“Enough!” Cristofer snapped, cutting off Victor’s words abruptly.
Surprisingly delighted, Victor responded with excitement, “Are you angry? Excellent. I’m thrilled to see you angry.”
“What in the world do you want?” Cristofer asked, his brow furrowed and his gaze fixed on Victor.
“I want every member of the Hans family to suffer! I’ll be happy as long as you’re unhappy,” Victor said coldly, his smile vanishing instantly. “Our parents handed me over to that bastard York, who then sold me to a family in a poor, remote area for fifty thousand dollars. Both of us are descendants of the Hans family, but you’ve enjoyed a good life and everyone’s love since birth while I had to shine shoes for fifty cents a day when I was young! All my pain and suffering stem from the Hans family!”
“Our parents believed you were dead and asked York to bury you. They didn’t know you were still alive,” Cristofer stated firmly.
“Of course, they didn’t know. It was York who lied to them, claiming I was dead. But why did they believe York so easily? Now, they’re all facing the consequences. York has been beaten by his enemies and lost part of his liver. Your parents died in a car accident. Your grandfather is seriously ill and nearing death. Frankly, I wanted to kill you, but I can’t. So, I’ll settle the score by taking your beloved woman away from you,” Victor said with a sinister smile. “Rest assured, I’ll ‘take care’ of her very, very well.”
Frustrated by Victor’s words, Cristofer grabbed Victor’s collar and glared at him. Through gritted teeth, he said, “If you want revenge, come after me. Don’t harm her!”
Without getting angry, Victor put on a vicious smile and said, “Calm down. I won’t hurt her or your children. I have many other ways to get even with you. For example, you will be heartbroken if I sleep with her, so I will record the whole process of us having sex and send the video to you so that you can see how she enjoys it and how much she loves me...”
“Shut up!” Cristofer shouted, flying into a rage in an instant.
“Hahaha, you’re so angry! I love how you’re reacting!” Victor taunted. “Feeling jealous now, are you?”
“If you dare to harm her, I will ensure you suffer a miserable fate!” Cristofer warned, his expression darkening.
“My life’s purpose has always been to exact revenge on the Hans family. Now that I’ve accomplished that, I don’t care if I die. Don’t threaten me. And just a reminder, think carefully if you’re truly considering killing me. After all, if I die, your beloved Star will be devastated. Can you bear to see her in pain for the rest of her life?” Victor teased with a smirk.
Cristofer wasn’t at home, and Estelle felt empty and distracted today.
Eva was helping Estelle pack her things efficiently in the bedroom with her sleeves rolled up. She asked Estelle, “Mrs. Hans, are you really moving to the Grand Hotel in Hadale City? Didn’t you have an argument with Mr. Hans? Weren’t you two getting along well recently?”
Estelle was about to respond but didn’t know how to answer.
Before she could say anything, Eva sighed and said, “You both don’t realize how lucky you are! If I were in your shoes and could be with my loved one every day, I’d treasure that and never argue. If only I could be as fortunate as you. My boyfriend is so distant; he hasn’t contacted me in almost two years. I even suspect he’s married to someone else.”
Hearing this, Estelle, who was sorting her clothes on the bed after taking them out of the closet, spoke up, “Eva, have you ever considered ending this relationship and starting anew?”
Eva chuckled and joked, “Yes, I have. I even fantasized about marrying Chris Evans. But sadly, he won’t marry me!”
“Eva, I’m serious,” Estelle said gently. “Perhaps you should think about moving on and starting a new relationship.”
