Raising his head, Yohan looked at Cristofer and said, “But Dad, you look unhappy.”
Cristofer took a glance at Estelle and explained to him in a gentle voice, “I’m not unhappy. Your Mom had a hard day at work today. I just can’t bear to see her so tired.”

Blinking his big eyes, Yohan held Cristofer’s big and warm hand and answered, “I certainly knew her. She used to take care of Yvonne and me every day when we were younger. You also know her, don’t you?”
Cristofer then turned to look at Estelle, who was following them silently.
“The maid responsible for taking care of Yohan and Yvonne before is also called Mrs. Moorsum,” Estelle explained to him.
“You hired her?”
“No... Mr. Mysterious hired her.”
“Humph,” Cristofer snorted and said, “You even told him about Mrs. Moorsum? You love him so much that you told him everything.”
Feeling a little embarrassed, Estelle lowered her voice and reminded him, “Don’t talk about this in front of the children.”

“Dad, what do you mean?” Yvonne asked immediately.

It thought that as long as it closed its eyes, it wouldn’t see itself steal cream, and the others would not see that, either. You are like that cat now,” Cristofer smiled and gently pinched Yvonne’s fair-skinned and cute face. “You thought I couldn’t see that you were eavesdropping?”
“Dad, maybe it’s because Yvonne’s hands are too small that she couldn’t cover her ears tightly,” Yohan immediately said, afraid that Cristofer would blame Yvonne for eavesdropping.
“Then have you covered your ears tightly?” Cristofer asked.
“Yes! Dad, look! I’ve been covering my ears tightly!” Aelis said. For fear, Cristofer didn’t believe him, he covered his ears more tightly.
Amused by him, Cristofer laughed and reached out to take Yohan’s hand. “If you really covered them tightly all the time, why could you still hear what I said to Yvonne just now?”

“I’m not blaming you,” Cristofer said to them, “Besides, I didn’t argue with your Mom. Don’t worry. We will go to your great-grandpa’s place and stay there tonight. He misses you very much.”
“Will Mom go with us?” Yohan asked.
Cristofer looked at Estelle again. Before she could say anything, he answered for her, “Yes.”

After arriving at the parking lot, Cristofer carefully carried the children into the child seats one by one and fastened the seat belts for them considerately. He didn’t stop until he repeatedly confirmed that the seat belts were fastened.
Seeing Cristofer’s actions, Estelle was a little surprised. She didn’t expect that he was so skillful in taking care of children now.
Yohan was eight years old and was heavier than before, so she had difficulty lifting him with both arms. Every time they went out, Yohan would get into the car by himself, and she would just need to help him fasten the seat belt. But just now, Cristofer lifted Yohan with one arm easily.
When Cristofer put Yohan in the child seat, she saw Yohan gaze at Cristofer with his eyes brightening with admiration.
‘It’s said that when a boy is growing up, his father’s role in the growth of a boy is important and irreplaceable. And I think Yohan needs Cristofer more than I think he does,’ Estelle thought.
“Dad, why do you always use your right arm instead of your left arm?” Yohan asked as he reached out and touched Cristofer’s left arm. “You used to hold me in your left arm and hold Mom’s hand with your right hand.”

“Then what do you want me to do now? Close the car door and let you open it yourself?” Cristofer replied. Although he wore a pleasant smile, there was a hint of displeasure in his tone.
Estelle realized that he was still upset about her participating in the dating show. Knowing that she needed to maintain a good relationship with him for the sake of the children, she reluctantly accepted his “service” and got into the car.
