Hans International Corporation was not nearby; reaching their destination took them another half an hour.
Once they arrived, Cristofer guided the children into the building of Hans International Corporation.
The working hour was about to start. At this time, many employees that had just arrived were clocking in at the reception.
They all knew that their boss was like a working machine that always worked all night. Generally speaking, Cristofer would be busy at work at this hour every day.
Therefore, they were very surprised when they saw that Cristofer had just arrived at the company at this hour. And what made them more surprised was that Cristofer came with two children.
“Mr. Hans, good morning,” an employee greeted Cristofer nervously.
“Good morning. Have you had breakfast?” Cristofer replied with a smile.
The employee was flattered and stunned. “... Not yet.”
“You may buy some food for breakfast first. There’s no hurry to work,” Cristofer suggested.
“Mr. Hans, didn’t you say that we aren’t allowed to eat inside the company, and anyone who is caught eating here will be fired?”

He then smiled and said, “You can eat in the company. Just remember to open the window for ventilation after eating.”
“Okay,” the employee nodded and asked, “Mr. Hans, are these two children your... nephew and niece?”
“This is my son,” Cristofer said, caressing Yohan's head, then he shifted his gaze to Yvonne’s cute face and couldn’t help smiling. “This is my daughter.”
“When did Mr. Hans have children? Didn’t he just break up with his fiancée?”
“Who knows? But I’ve heard that Mr. Hans had a girlfriend called Miss Abrams before. Maybe she’s their mom.”

“Yes, I remember her family name is Abrams.”
Hearing the staff members whispering, Yohan, who had been led into the company by Cristofer, suddenly stopped and ran back to the reception area.

Yvonne shook her head.
“You won’t forgive me?” Cristofer asked, looking embarrassed.
“Mom said that anyone who did something wrong should apologize. But if others apologize to us, we don’t have to accept their apologies,” Yvonne explained to him.
“Oh?”
“Yohan once had a fight with a boy in his school. Mom said that it was wrong to fight. In the end, that boy apologized to Yohan. But neither Yohan nor Mom wanted to accept his apology. Later, Mom transferred Yohan to another school.”
Cristofer didn’t expect that such a thing would happen.
He thought Yohan had always been a kind, friendly, and optimistic child. He wouldn’t fight with others for no reason. There must be a reason that he fought with that boy.
“Why did Yohan fight with that boy?” Cristofer asked.
“Because that boy is very bad. He said that Yohan and I are bastards without a father. Dad, what does bastard mean?”
Hearing that, Cristofer was stunned.
Seeing Cristofer was silent, Yvonne continued, “Yohan and I have a dad. It’s just that you can’t stay with us because you have a very important job to do. You have to protect the earth and protect everyone.”

After thinking for a while, Cristofer said, “Tell them that the meeting is canceled and ask them to email me the design drawings.”
Eva was shocked upon hearing this.
“But the African gem supplier will come to talk business with you this afternoon. Aren’t you going to get prepared for it, Mr. Hans?” she asked.
Cristofer walked into the office with Yvonne and Yohan without replying to her.
When Eva was about to follow them in, the door was closed from the inside, and she found herself locked out.

Then she heard Vincent’s laughter coming from nearby.
“What are you laughing at?” she asked.

Cristofer scrutinized the cartoon list on the computer screen for a long time and finally chose Peppa Pig.
