“It’s rainwater,” Mr. Mysterious responded, trying to smile.
“Really?”
“Really.”
“Dad, don’t lie to me,” Yohan said seriously. “Let’s make an agreement. I will believe every word you say, and you will never lie to me, okay?”
“Okay,” Mr. Mysterious said, smiling through tears.
“Dad, you really didn’t cry?” Yohan asked.
“I did. But now I’ve stopped crying,” Mr. Mysterious said.
Yohan hugged him tightly again, coaxing, “Dad, don’t cry. I’ll always have your back.”
Seeing the interaction between them, Estelle was touched, and her nose twitched.
She gently caressed Yohan's hair and said gently, “Yohan, let go of your Dad. He needs to take a shower and change his clothes.”
“Okay!”
Yohan obediently let go of Mr. Mysterious and said with a smile, “Mom, I’ll put Yvonne to sleep. You can go and help Dad take a shower!”
Estelle was taken aback by his unexpected suggestion. “What?” she asked, surprised.
“Hee hee, Auntie Rebecca told me that if I want a younger brother, I should let you and Dad take a shower together! Mom, I really want a younger brother!” Yohan said with enthusiasm.
“Estelle?” Mr. Mysterious, who had stood up straight, was gazing at her with his eyes full of burning desire.

Under Yohan's expectant gaze, Estelle took Yvonne back to the children’s room and put her in the crib.

Estelle felt a mixture of anger and embarrassment, and she glared at him in response to his unexpected remark.

“Nothing? Then why are you blushing?” Mr. Mysterious asked deliberately.
“I’m not blushing!”
“Really?”
Estelle had been feeling uneasy being so close to him. Now that she was seen through by him, she felt more embarrassed and gently pushed him. “You... stay away from me...”
“Ah...” Mr. Mysterious moaned in pain.
Feeling anxious, Estelle hurriedly walked up to him and said, “Did I push your injured arm? Does it hurt? Take off your jacket, and let me check...”
Before she could finish her words, Mr. Mysterious held her in a warm embrace.
Holding her tightly with his right arm, Mr. Mysterious said with a chuckle, “You are as naive as you were at school.”

Estelle felt bad for him and touched his arm as gently as she could.

“I removed it.”
“How could you remove it? If you are injured, you won’t be able to hold me... or our children in the future,” Estelle expressed her concern.
Mr. Mysterious pecked her on the cheek and reassured her, “Don’t worry. I can still carry you with one arm.”
“But I want you to hold me in your arms,” Estelle gently pushed him away and created some distance between them.
Looking up at him with a serious expression, she continued, “You must remember that you are not alone anymore. You are my fiance, the father of our two children. Our children and I need your protection.”
“I understand,” Mr. Mysterious nodded gently, “Don’t move. Let me hold you for a while.”
Estelle stood still, allowing him to embrace her.
“Did your benefactor cause trouble for you again? Did Ron tell you that Geoffrey came to me today and took Yvonne away without my permission? Thankfully, Geoffrey only sent someone to drive Yvonne to the Hans’ Residence and didn’t do anything else. He made it clear that your benefactor doesn’t want us to be together. He wants me to leave you...”
“Do you want to leave me?”
“I...” Estelle bit her lower lip and said, “I definitely don’t want to leave you. Our current life hasn’t come easy. How can I just leave you? But... Your benefactor seems very powerful. He could easily take Yvonne away and knows where Yohan goes to school. I’m really afraid...”
“Don’t be afraid,” Mr. Mysterious said, gently kissing her forehead. “It’s all over now.”

“What happened today? Did you make another deal with your benefactor? Last time, you repaid him with an arm. What did you promise him this time? Your other arm? Or a leg?” she asked anxiously.
Mr. Mysterious sighed and gently rubbed her nose with his finger, saying, “You’re thinking too much. He’s a businessman, not some gang leader from a movie.”
“But your arm...” Estelle insisted, “I’ve only heard of people repaying their benefactors with money, gifts, or favors. But I’ve never heard of someone giving up their arm as repayment. What he did to you is like something from a movie.”
“It’s not that dramatic,” Mr. Mysterious reassured her, “My benefactor has helped me a lot. Without him, I might not be alive today. So, I do owe him a great deal.”
“Since he saved your life, you should repay him for his kindness,” Estelle agreed.
“But I no longer owe him anything. Once the lawsuit ends and we bring Melody and Gretchen to justice, we’ll leave with the two children and your mother. I’ll arrange for someone to help you manage your company, ensuring your father’s hard work remains intact. You can trust me on that.”
“Alright,” Estelle responded. “But what about you? Have you considered your own future?”
