“Mom... Mom, are you okay?” Tim asked anxiously.
Mrs. Roberts gradually felt better and said with difficulty, “I... I will be pissed off to death by you sooner or later.”
“Thank God you are better,” Tim said and breathed a sigh of relief.
Mrs. Roberts then slowly sat up with her hand on her heart and calmed herself down. Seeing that Estelle was curling up in the corner without saying a word, she asked, “Did you hurt her?”
“I didn’t exert much strength,” Tim frowned and said.
“There is a big gap in strength between men and women. You think that you didn’t use much strength. But for her, it was a great strength,” Mrs. Roberts scolded him with a sullen look. “I’m fine now. Go and check if she’s okay.”
Tim was still a little worried and said, “I’ll take you to the hospital first.”
“No need. I’ve called Justin before I came, and he’ll be here soon,” Mrs. Roberts said.
“Justin is coming?”

“Mom, here I am.”
Mrs. Roberts felt much relieved when seeing him. “You came just in time. Go and see the girl in the corner. Tim might have hurt her just now,” She said.
Justin nodded and walked toward Estelle, who was squatting in the corner with her head lowered.
Then he squatted down and said gently, “Miss, are you okay? I apologize for what Tim has done to you. He is always reckless. If you get hurt, we will pay the medical expenses for you and compensate for the suffering you have caused. Let me send you to the hospital now, okay?”
The pain in Estelle’s incision had slowly lessened. And despite the pain, she still had a clear head. When she heard Justin’s voice, she immediately felt that there was something wrong.
‘Why does Justin’s voice sound different from Mr. Mysterious’s?’
‘When we met or talked on the phone before, his voice was hoarse and lower and sounded similar to Mr. Mysterious’s. But now his voice is totally different.’
In confusion, Estelle slowly raised her head and looked at him.

“Estelle? Why are you here?” he asked.
Estelle forced a smile and said, “Mr. Roberts, I work in this company. You knew I would come to work today and asked Mrs. Moorsum to pass on your words to me. Have you forgotten that?”
Hearing this, Justin licked his lips and said with a hint of embarrassment, “Sorry. I... I was so anxious just now that I forgot it. Are you okay?”
Estelle nodded and answered, “I’m okay.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes. I felt pain in my incision when I was pulled by Mr. Roberts just now. But now the pain is receding. Don’t worry,” Estelle said softly.
Justin immediately stood up and said, “Let’s go to the hospital.”
With an anxious expression, he took her arm and slowly walked out with her.
“Justin, you know her?”
“Justin, you know this lady?”
Tim and Mrs. Roberts asked altogether.
Justin paused and didn’t know how to explain his relationship with Estelle. After a few seconds, he just said, “Yes, Miss Hudson is my friend.”
Seeming not to believe his words, Tim looked at him and then at Estelle with a meaningful look. “Friend? Or... girlfriend?” he asked.
“The story is a little complicated. I’ll explain to you later when I have time. I’ll take her to the hospital first.” After saying that, Justin turned around and carefully helped Estelle walk toward the door. “Miss Hudson, watch your step.”
“Okay.”
Seeing such a scene, Mrs. Roberts was speechless, and her face turned livid. She turned around, stared at Tim, and asked, “Whose girlfriend is she?”
Considering her condition, Tim didn’t want to make her angry again and told her the truth. “Mom, don’t be angry. Sit down and have a rest. She is not my girlfriend, but a designer in my company. When I went out just now, she happened to be outside, so I asked her to come in and pretended that she was my girlfriend.”

Tim said with a remorseful look, “Mom if you didn’t urge me to get married, I wouldn’t have done that. Besides, I didn’t know that she was Justin’s girlfriend. I thought he still loved Rebecca.”
When he mentioned Rebecca, Estelle obviously felt Justin’s hand on her arm trembling slightly.
“Mr. Roberts, are you all right?” she asked Justin.
“I’m all right. Let’s go,” Justin said.
Estelle then sighed and said, “Actually, we don’t need to go to the hospital. I’m fine now.”
Still worried, Justin said, “We’d better go to the hospital and ask the doctor to check on you. If anything unexpected happens to you, I will be blamed.”
‘Who will blame him?’ Estelle wondered. Justin mentioned a name in the last sentence, but she didn’t hear it clearly.

Estelle still felt something was wrong. She gently pulled off his hand on her arm and said seriously, “Mr. Roberts, tell me the truth. You are not Mr. Mysterious, right?”

“Mr. Roberts, stop lying to me, please,” Estelle said, “If you can’t tell me who Mr. Mysterious is, I won’t force you. I just want to know if you are Mr. Mysterious or not.”
Now that things had come to this, Justin had to tell her the truth. “You are right. I’m not Mr. Mysterious,” he said with a sigh.

“Estelle, how did you find out I’m not Mr. Mysterious?” Justin asked.
“Your voice and the scent of your body betrayed you. Mr. Mysterious’ voice is lower and hoarser than yours. And he wears Cologne every day, but there’s no scent of Cologne on you,” Estelle said calmly.
Hearing this, Justin smiled helplessly and said, “I told him that it would not be easy to deceive you, but he didn’t believe me.”
“Did he ask you to pretend to be him?” Estelle asked.
“Yes, he pleaded with me to help hide his identity, and I didn’t have the heart to refuse him. Estelle, he can’t let you know his true identity for the time being because he has his own difficulties. I hope you can understand him.”
