Estelle shook her head and frowned.
The truth about Mr. Mysterious’ identity came out so suddenly that she couldn’t believe it.
‘Is Mr. Mysterious really Justin?’
‘Since he still loves Rebecca deeply, why doesn’t he try to win her heart again but come to me instead?’
Rebecca continued, “Estelle, I guess that he doesn’t tell you who he is because he’s afraid that you will refuse him if you know he’s my ex-boyfriend. He doesn’t want you to have any psychological burden.”

Mr. Mysterious then texted her again. ‘Her parents are always very strict with her and don’t allow her to go back home late. It doesn’t matter. I’ll go to the hospital and stay with you tonight.’

Estelle didn’t receive a message from Mr. Mysterious again until it was dark outside.
‘Estelle, turn off the lights.’
Estelle drew the curtains and turned off the light. Then she groped for the knob in the darkness and opened the door, just like what she had done yesterday,
The moment the door was opened, she was greeted with a warm embrace from Mr. Mysterious.
“Estelle, did you miss me?” Mr. Mysterious asked with his voice full of happiness, seeming to be in a good mood.
Estelle didn’t respond to him.
“Estelle? Did you hear me?”
“Well, yes. I miss you,” Estelle said.
“I miss you too,” Mr. Mysterious said as he hugged her more tightly. “I’ve never looked forward to the coming of the night so much. In the past, I would feel lonely and depressed at night. But now I won’t. I like the night most and enjoy it because I can come to see you at night.”
Hearing this, Estelle didn’t say anything or move and just let him hug her this way.
Noticing there was something wrong with her, Mr. Mysterious gazed at her and asked gently, “Estelle, what’s wrong with you?”
“Sir, may I ask you a question?”
“Yes. Go ahead.”
“Do you think... I’m similar to Rebecca?” Estelle ventured. She remembered that Mr. Mysterious once said that he helped her because she was very similar to his beloved woman.
