Female protagonist. A 24 year old affectionate girl, living her dream of being an astrophysicist. She is a single child of her parents and lives with them in Bangalore.
Karan Talwar
52 year old, father of Khwaab. He is a lawyer by profession. His wife and daughters are his lifelines. An honest man, behaves strictly but is a softy at heart.
Kirti Talwar
50 year old, mother of Khwaab. She is a physics lecturer in a university. Khwaab inherited her interest in physics from her.
Aakriti Talwar
Khwaab's first cousin. A 22 year old naughty girl who is sweet to her family and sassy for outsiders. Her parents passed away in a plane crash. Considers Khwaab's parents as hers.
Sia Anand
A 24 year old cheerful girl. Khwaab's friend, met her in college. Works in an IT company in Bangalore. Her parents live in Patna.
Rahul Khurana
A 25 year old, sharp minded man. Sia's colleague and met Khwaab through her. Believes to be in love with Khwaab at first sight and waiting for a chance to confess about his feelings.

Armaan’s close friend. Happy go lucky guy, drummer of Stardust and helps his father in the business.
Amaya Chauhan
Female version of Armaan and his close friend. Her sole purpose to live are, her music, friends and boyfriend Abhinav Dixit. Doesn't have good rapport with her parents.
Rebecca D’Souza and Shaurya Bhasin :- A madly in love couple. Soon going to tie a knot after being in relationship for three years. Good friends of Armaan.

Boyfriend of Amaya. A sweet guy with a cute dimpled smile. A professional photographer and met her during one of their shooting project.
