Chapter 15 Fifteen
ANNIE
Two weeks passed, and I hadn't set my eyes on Dylan. It wasn't that he travelled or anything, but we had not crossed paths and I couldn't dare start a conversation with him — he never gave me the chance to.
He must be busy.
That was what I thought for two weeks. Amy was homeschooling and I sat on the stairs outside drawing imaginary lines on the fine hardwood. To be honest, I never knew I would one day grow so fond of this place that the thought of going back barely crossed my mind, although sometimes I thought… What if?
I heard the engine of what was probably a car roar and then came to a stop. People frequented the estate for business, so there was a possibility he wasn't the one. Or perhaps, I cared not.
“Angel,” Someone called, making me tilt my head to see Dylan Xavier.
This was the first time in two weeks that we had seen each other, and my emotions were getting the best part of me. I jumped on him, not minding if I missed. He had pretty good reflexes. My lips touched the tip of his ear, and a low growl escaped his mouth. I knew I missed him, but feeling the warmth of his body, I missed him more.
“Missed you,” I muttered hoping he would not hear it.
“Of course you do, I'm hot after all”. He had heard me. I rolled my eyes still hugging him , he was still being the bitch he was.
“It's enough”, he said, a gun already at my head.
Gosh, those damn reflexes.
He always used that to scare me and I didn't dare him. I moved away from him, adjusting my dress and dusting invisible dirt from it. “I haven't seen you for weeks now,” I pointed out while playing with my hair. Dylan sighed, kissing my hair with his fingers. He probably didn't want to talk about it and it was better that way.
Dylan held my chin so I could see his face properly. I wasn't short but I couldn't compare myself to his height . Anyone could get lost by just looking at those dangerous eyes , eyes that held both pain, regret, happiness and memories that could never leave.
“Come to bed, toy,” he said. A smile creeped to my lips, exactly what I've been waiting for. Another night of pounding on the wall and orgasm as wet as a downpour. I couldn't resist it just the same as I couldn't say no to him.
Could never.
“Daddy!”
We turned in time to see Amelia running towards Dylan. He bent to reach her length as she ran into his arms. “You're back!”
“How were your lessons?”
“They were good except for that one about serial killers and how psychopaths are made”, she said, frowning her face. I was shocked but didn't show it. Why would a child be taught so much that even I wasn't taught that.
“They're just extra curricular activities”, he said looking at me probably knowing what I was thinking.
“I met with the Winters, baby girl”, he said, caressing Amy's hair. She looked excited at the mention of the Winters. “I declined their proposal”, he said, still caressing her hair. She frowned, making a face, but when she saw how uninterested he was she kept a straight face. “Go inside, you'll start fighting lessons soon”, he said and she ran inside.
“I'm going to meet some people today, but I'll be back before you even remember to remove your clothes”, he said and dragged me to his side. I gasped facing him, our nose an inch away. “Where are you going?” I asked, stepping back, he moved forward, his hands at my back. “My family”, he said and I smiled.
“Can I come?”
“No… wait for me in bed, milkweed”. My face flushed to bright pink, I bit my lips trying to hold the smile from coming.
“But…”
Kiss.
He kissed me and I let him in without hesitation. Dylan could be really sweet at some point but so dangerous most times.
“I'll see you”, he said, slapping my butt and grabbing it.
Sexy.
DYLAN XAVIER
I could remember how this place looked like, even though it's been years since I left. The trees and lushful garden at the east where the sun rises and the house at the west. The house was still as new as it was which meant that mother was probably taking good care of it. I had just finished business with the Winters and decided to head down to meet my former family, the first unit of the society that neglected and rejected me. All those things were in the past and here I was standing close to my Limo with a free mind yet dangerously staring at the door that led into the house.
“Good day, Mr Xavier”. I turned to see an old woman. So this lady was still here.
When I was younger, she was in her late thirties and had pity on me that I hated it. Before I left she had begged me to stay but I turned my back on her and everything that belonged to my family.
I stared at her bright blue eyes that had wrinkles at the side. What was her name again?
“Marilyn, it's nice to see you again. Does my mother know I'm here?” I asked and she shook her head. “She's having a bath at the east garden, I'll let her know, for now let me take you inside”
“I know my way around”, I said, holding up my hand to stop her. She nodded and went towards the beautifully trimmed garden.
I walked into the building, the interior was as graceful as the exterior. I looked around the house and noticed a lot of things were missing. The slave chain father kept to punish us was no longer there, rather replaced with different paintings and art.
I smiled remembering the slave room, father would bring me in and chain me to a heavy stone that looked like a mill and I would keep grinding and he would keep whipping.
I touched the paintings and smirked. “Mother you're so good at this. I hear you're a very popular influencer now”, I said and turned to face the woman who was my dear mother. She looked a lot older but young for her age.
“You look younger, mother, did you do something to your face and your breast seems a little too firm for an old lady”
She eyed me going to the dinning to pour herself some tea. “When Marilyn said your son is here, I thought it was…”
“Lucian, Terry or any of my other brothers”, I said clicking my tongue and going to have a seat. “Lucian is your cousin, but that aside, I thought it was any of your brothers. It's been long since I saw you after you killed my husband”, she said touching her hair. It was blonde with a little dark at the root.
“Right. I killed him, that's what you believe but it doesn't matter or does it? You're living a princess life anyways” . I watched her as she sat on the couch opposite me. “What else should I believe”, she shrugged taking a sip of her tea. “ That aside, did you know your baby sister?”
“The one you got three months after your husband died?”
He could never be called my father.
“ Whatever. She just came back yesterday and since she found out that the great Dylan Xavier was her step brother she wanted to see you”, she said looking at her nails. “She just left for sometime, stay for dinner”
I nodded looking at my phone.
9:00pm
Time had gone really fast.
Dinner was set and it tasted nice, but I was craving for Annie's sauce, her chicken… I was craving for her. I felt my dick harden at the thought of her waiting in bed for me, her body bare and fragile and turned bright red when spanked.
Calm down Dylan Xavier.
“So you're my brother”. I looked at the young girl, her eyes looked just like mother, a very beautiful hazel that I didn't have and her hair auburn probably like her father. She was beautiful unlike me who took the features of the man I loathed.
“Where's Lucian, I thought he was coming”, I muttered picking at my peas.
I suddenly disliked them.
“My daughter asked you a question”
“I think I'm done here, mother, I'll be outside”, I said standing to leave. This place brought back childhood memories that I so much wanted to forget. I stood outside stating at the the east garden, it was always so beautiful at night and one of the many things Mr Xavier, my father loved.
“Hi” someone said and I turned to face the young girl again. I said nothing just staring at her and somehow thanking God she wasn't born when father was alive. “I hate this life as much as you do”, she said and that surprised me.
“So you're not mother's little princess”
“She suffocates me and… I only wished to see you so you could advice me”
I chuckled. “Why take advice from someone so cruel?”
“Be… because, you left and built an empire yourself, I'd love to be like you”, she said and I walked to her and patted her fine hair. “You will, with time. No Xavier loves their family” She looked at me and I knew she didn't understand, but she would when the time came.
“What's your name?” I asked and she smirked. “Kayla Xavier”
“Well Kayla, I have to go”, I said and kissed the tip of her fingers. It was glad to know she was like me… seeking for a different path.
11:58 pm
“Milkweed”, I whispered into her ear and she shuddered. Her eyes flew open as she stared at me a little bit shaken.
“Calm down, daddy's home”, I muttered and she nodded though I could feel her fear. It made me hard... Her fear made me crave her all the more.
I slipped her clothes off her slender body and kissed her neck.
“Daddy's home.”
