A Dangerous Kind of Intimacy🔞
The steam curled in the marble shower like smoke from a slow-burning fire. Warm water cascaded down, hissing against bare skin. In the haze of rising mist, their bodies tangled—wet, slick, and ravenous for each other.
Adriano’s lips crushed against Diamond’s, their tongues entwining in a kiss that stole every breath from her lungs. The shower streamed down their bodies, and Diamond clutched at his shoulders, her legs slightly parted as he pressed her back against the cool tiled wall. His large hands roamed with bold intent—cupping her breasts, teasing her hardened nipples with his thumbs, then sliding down to squeeze her ass possessively.
She gasped into his mouth as he lifted her slightly, his muscular thigh nudging between her legs to part them. The kiss deepened, hungry and full of lust. Adriano’s hands trailed down, his fingers finally brushing against the slick heat between her thighs.
Diamond moaned into the kiss as he pushed two fingers inside her, curling them expertly.
“Mmm... fuck,” she whispered against his lips.
Adriano growled softly, his mouth never leaving hers. “That’s it, Bella. Let me feel you.”
A third finger joined the first two, stretching her more. Her moan broke into a whimper as he moved faster, his fingers plunging in and out of her with a rhythm that left her breathless.
But just as she was about to lose herself in the pleasure, it hit her.
A flash—memory colliding with the present.
The sensation of being pinned to the wall… just like this. Fingers thrusting inside her… just like this.
But it wasn’t Adriano’s face she saw.
It was Alessandro’s.
His piercing blue-green eyes staring into her soul, just like they had the day before. His tattoos—sprawled across his arms, trailing to his chest, curling up his neck like inked secrets—flooded her vision. His touch. His dominance. That look on his face when he watched her unravel.
Diamond blinked, trying to shake it off. Guilt flooded her chest.
No. Stop. What the hell is wrong with you?
Adriano didn’t notice. His fingers moved faster, harder. She moaned again—because the pleasure was overwhelming—but she hated that her mind kept flipping back to him.
“Turn around,” Adriano growled, his voice thick with lust.
Obeying, Diamond placed her palms against the wall, arching her back slightly. She felt him behind her, one hand on her hip, the other guiding his cock to her entrance. He teased her with the tip, running it slowly up and down her slick folds, making her legs tremble.
Then, in one slow, delicious push, he slid inside her.
Both of them moaned—his voice deep and raw, hers breathy and full of need.
“Fuck, you feel so good,” Adriano groaned, gripping her hips and beginning to thrust into her with a steady rhythm. “So tight around my cock... just for me.”
The sound of skin slapping against skin echoed in the shower, mixing with their moans and the rush of water. Adriano’s hips moved faster, harder, pounding into her from behind as his fingers found her clit and rubbed in furious circles.
“Adriano!” Diamond cried, her body shaking from the intensity. “Harder—don’t stop!”
He slammed into her faster, his hand never leaving her clit. Diamond threw her head back as the orgasm built—hot, sharp, and all-consuming. Her body seized, then burst, a gush of release flowing down her thighs.
“Cum for me, Bella,” Adriano growled. “Just like that.”
She squirted, her thighs trembling, her scream muffled by the wall. But he didn’t stop. He kept going, rubbing and thrusting until her body spasmed with another orgasm that tore through her like a lightning bolt.
Her legs gave out.
Adriano grunted and buried himself deep inside her with one final thrust, releasing with a loud moan.
Breathless, they stayed like that for a moment—tangled, shaking, wrapped in steam.
He kissed the back of her shoulder, then slid out, some of his seed already leaking from her. He reached down and fingered her, collected it with two fingers, and brought it up to her lips.
Diamond met his gaze as she opened her mouth and sucked his fingers clean.
His eyes darkened. He leaned in again, capturing her lips in a slow, wet kiss as the water poured down on them.
Later, the two of them lay in bed, skin damp and warm under the soft sheets. They faced each other in silence, their hands loosely intertwined between them.
“I really needed that,” Adriano said at last, exhaling.
Diamond smiled faintly. “Stressful day?”
“You have no idea.” He reached up to brush a damp strand of hair from her face. “Serena managed to get into one of Maxwell Chen’s devices—she tracked him.”
Diamond blinked. “Seriously?”
Adriano nodded. “Turns out he’s on a family vacation at some private island off the coast of the Bahamas. Real fancy shit. We’ve been prepping all day—gearing up, mapping out routes, making contacts, setting up contingencies.”
Diamond whistled low. “Sounds like a lot.”
Adriano smirked. “It is a lot.”
He looked at her more intently. “Where were you all day anyways?”
Diamond shrugged nonchalantly. “I went to visit my sister at the foster home.”
Adriano’s face softened. “Em? Damn. I almost forgot about her with all this chaos. How is she?”
“She’s good. Kept asking about you though. Wouldn’t shut up about it.” Diamond rolled her eyes playfully. “Like, hello? I’m the one who came to visit.”
Adriano laughed, a deep, warm sound that made her heart ache.
“That’s cute as hell,” he said. Then, more seriously, “Do you want her out of that place?”
Diamond blinked. “Of course I do.”
Adriano tightened his fingers around hers. “Then let me help you. I’ll get her out.”
“What?”
“I’ll become her legal guardian. We’ll get her out of the system for good.”
Diamond stared at him, stunned. “No, Adriano. You don’t have to do that for me.”
“I want to,” he said. “Don’t you want to be with her again? Permanently?”
“Of course I do, but…” Diamond hesitated. “They’re not just going to hand her over to a—well, a criminal, no matter how much money you have.”
Adriano chuckled. “Serena can fix that. Make me look like a goddamn tech entrepreneur or something. ‘Philanthropist with a heart for disadvantaged youth.’ I’ll pass any background check they throw at me.”
Diamond still shook her head. “It’s dangerous. Your world is dangerous. I don’t want Em getting pulled into it.”
He pulled her close. “You really think I’d let anything happen to her? To you? I promised I’d protect you, remember? That promise extends to her too. She’ll be guarded. She’ll be safe. She’ll never want for anything.”
Diamond was quiet, chewing her bottom lip.
“So?” he murmured, his lips brushing her temple. “What do you say?”
After a long pause, she finally whispered, “Okay.”
Adriano grinned and kissed her. But as his lips moved against hers, Diamond’s mind spun.
This is gonna be a problem. This is gonna be a VERY big problem.
A few minutes passed in silence before Adriano spoke again.
“You sure you still want to come on this mission?”
Diamond raised an eyebrow. “Of course. I’m not backing down now.”
Adriano sighed. “Figured you’d say that. Fine. But when the shooting starts, you’re staying out of the line of fire.”
Diamond groaned. “Must there always be shooting?”
Adriano smirked, cocking a brow. “I’m a Mafia Prince, Bella. Of course there’s always shooting.”
She laughed, shaking her head. He laughed with her.
The moment melted into something softer. More intimate.
Then his expression grew serious again.
“One week and six days,” he said quietly, his voice dropping low. “That’s how long we have to hit all five of our targets.”
His jaw tensed.
“Tomorrow, we start with the first.”
He looked out the window toward the night sky, his eyes hard.
“Maxwell Chen,” Adriano said. “We’re coming for you.”
