Fight

Victoria's POV

I followed Alpha Derick downstairs and met Emma and Edwin in the sitting room, seated on the couch. I met gaze with Emma, but she quickly looked away out of fear.

''Is there a problem.'' Alpha Derick directed those Words to Edwin, totally ignoring the presence of Emma.

''Greetings Alpha Derick.'' Alpha Edwin greeted, but did not get a response from alpha Derick.

''I ask again, why are you here.'' He said in an impatient tone, Obviously, he doesn't welcome their presence.

''Well…'' Alpha Edwin paused and held my gaze for a second before looking away.

''We were told the special one was back, so we came to see her and pay our respect.'' He said, which forced a loud chuckle from my lips.

''Respect to me?'' I asked with raised eyebrows while taking a step further.'' Who would have thought the almighty alpha Edwin will pay respect to the once bullied and wolfless girl.'' I said with a scoff as I shook my head.

''Life.'' I shook my head and took the couch right before him while holding his gaze. Defeat was written all over his face, and never a day would I have thought to see him this way before me.

''Whatever that happened between us was in the past, and I do hope you can forgive and forget about it.'' He apologized, while I just shrugged my shoulders and relaxed on the couch.

''I have nothing against you alpha Edwin.'' I said with a Victorious smile on my face.

''Glad to hear that…'' He murmured in relief and moved his gaze to Emma, who has been quiet all this while. Swallowing nervously, She lifts her head, but couldn't meet my gaze or that of alpha Derick.

''I'm…'' She couldn't complete her words before she was cut off by Alpha Derick.

''I'll prefer you keep whatever you have to say to yourself.'' He said and Angrily stood on his feet.

''No amount of apology will make me forgive you for making me inflict pain on my mate…'' He gritted his teeth and continued,''I haven't dealt with you yet because of the relationship my family and yours share, but don't think I will let you go just like that.'' He said, and moved his attention to Edwin

''I believe that is all for this visit.'' He asked, while Edwin just nodded his head.

''Good, I'll see you in the battlefield.'' Alpha Derick said those words and left. Sucking in a deep breath, I stood on my feet and walked out of them without saying a word.

I got into the room and met alpha Derick seated on the bed with his eyes tightly shut in deep thought.

''Are you okay.'' I asked

''Yeah, I'm just worried.'' He said, while I climbed on the bed, kneeled behind him and gently massaged his tensed shoulders with my both hands.

''Everything will be fine.'' I assured him, while he heaved a heavy sigh and nodded his head.

THE DAY OF THE FIGHT

I was dressed in a black fitted jean, a black dress and black boots, while Alpha Derick was already dressed, waiting for me. I noticed his gaze on me, which I ignored.

''I'm set.'' I said and flashed him a weak smile, which he returned.

''I have something for you.'' He said and took steps closer to me. He opened his hand and I noticed that he was holding a bracelet.

''This is for protection, it belongs to mother.'' He said and took my right hand before I could say a word. I watched him clamped the bracelet on my wrist and placed a soft kiss on it before holding my gaze.

''Please stay alive.'' He said in a pleading tone while his eyes were clouded with tears.

''I will be fine.'' I assured him and gave him a tight hug. I heard his heart pound with fear as he ran his fingers through my hair. We stayed in each other arms until we were being interrupted by a knock on the door.

''Jane is here.'' Anthony announced from the door.

''It's time to go.'' I murmured and released myself from alpha Derick arms. Gently, He cupped my cheek and slammed his lips on mine.

The kiss wasn't hot or sexual, but rather it was warm and gentle. He broke the kiss and placed another kiss on my forehead before holding my hand and led us out of his room.

We got to the sitting room and met Jane already waiting for us.

''Hey Vicky.'' She greeted happily, she was damn excited about this fight.

''Are you guys ready?'' She asked, while We just nodded our Head as a response.

''Off we go.'' She said and held our both hands. Like a twinkle of an eye, we appeared In front of thousands of werewolves.

I settled my gaze before me and noticed the vampires were lined up at the other end of the open field. Their fangs were already out, ready to strike.

''We thought you wouldn't make it.'' Alpha Lin said, while I ignored him and stood at the front line with other wolverines. Curiously, I settled my gaze on the vampire who were few meters away from me and took notice of Bernard in the front row.

Our gaze met, and I made a telepath with him.

''Lets stop this.'' I pleaded

''Never!'' He responded quickly. Sighing heavily, I moved my gaze to alpha Derick, who was standing beside me. His eyes were locked with Bernard's, waiting for the fight to begin. I turned behind and saw behind me was crowded with werewolves. Some have already shifted into their wolf's form, while some were still in their human form, waiting for the fight to Begin.

I moved my gaze back to the vampires and saw their fangs out, while they await the fight to start.

''Are you ready…'' Those words did not leave my mouth when I noticed Bernard was bringing out blocks of ice. Without wasting a second, He released blocks of ice to us, but I was quick and melt it with the flames in my hands. Angrily, he threw Another blocks of ice in another direction, but I melt it and turned it into water before it could get to us.

Groaning angrily, I increased the intensity of the flames in my hands and unleashed it on the vampires, but he was quick and quenched the fire even before it could get to them. Groaning again, I unleashed another flames of fire, but he extinguished it just before it could get to them.

I knew plan A will never work, so I made a mind link to Jane who was beside me; she got the signal, A plan B alpha Derick never knew.

Without wasting a minute, Jane touched my arm. We teleported and appeared behind the vampires. Before they could notice my presence behind them, I unleashed flames of fire, and before they could attack me, Jane teleported me away, and we arrived back in front of the battlefield. I saw Bernard Angrily quenched the fire with just an ice from his hand, but it was a bit late because hundreds of vampires were already roasted.

''Is this all you got?'' Bernard yelled while the color of his eyes became darker. Groaning Angrily, he began running towards us, while the other vampires did the same.

''May the moon goddess be with us ''Alpha Derick yelled, and we started running forward to clashed with the vampires.

I met eyes with Alpha Derick and saw that same worried look on his face before he looked away.

With loud howls, we raced to the vampires, but something happened. We were almost getting to each other when the ground divided into two parts, separating the vampires from us. With stunned eyes, I saw the ground opened, separating the vampires from us.

''What is going on.'' I asked,

''Mother earth is against this fight, anyone who moves an inch to make an attack will be swallowed up by the earth.'' A seer who stood behind me announced those words in a loud voice that the vampires could hear her.

''Bullshit!.'' A vampire grunted and took a step forward, Only to be swallowed by Earth.

''Goddess!'' I exclaimed in shock,

''She has put a stop to this fight, never will the vampires and werewolves go to war until eternity.'' She declared, while I heard loud grumbles from each side. Sighing In relief, I held Bernard's gaze and saw him burning with rage.

''You heard it, Bernard, this madness is over.'' I said, while he groaned and tried to take a step but ceased his step.

''Let put an end to this madness, we are unique creatures and should work together to make this world a better place.'' I said, hoping my words will bring meaning to the vampires.

''There is no need in fighting and hating each other when we could actually work together and achieve great things.'' I said as I moved my gaze to the vampires who were just a few steps away from me, separated by the spilt up ground.

''Let love and Peace reign, let's stop this hate and love each other.'' I begged.

Silence filled the whole place for some minutes until a vampire spoke up

''I say yes to peace.'' He said and silence filled the whole place again

''Yes to peace.'' Another vampire accepted

''Yes to peace.'' A werewolf howled

''Yes to peace.'' Another werewolf conceded

''Yes to peace.'' thousand of voice spoke out loud bringing a big smile on my face. Everyone kept saying those Words until I heard alpha Derick's voice.

''Yes to Peace.'' He said while I flashed him a big and thankful smile.

''Thank you!'' I mouthed those words to him while we held each other's gaze.

''No to peace.'' I heard Bernard's voice in my head.

''Alpha Derick!'' My wolf yelled those words as a warning to me and without a second thought, I pushed alpha Derick away and stood before him. Like a blink of the eyelashes, a cleaver knife pierced through me.

''Ahhh.'' I exclaimed in pain as the knife pierced right in my upper Left chest, which sent series of pain all over my body

''No!'' I heard the loud cry of alpha Derick and Bernard before I fell on Alpha Derick's arms.
