"You are still working miracles here! Aren't you ashamed?" Aryana said firmly.

I frowned at what she said, and Alpha Henrick immediately stood up to refuse what she said. I guess I didn't like the shape of this woman's tongue. But I knew she was just envious and jealous.

"What are you talking about, Aryana?"Alpha asked and frowned.

"Clara and I are not doing anything bad. Suddenly her foot hurt so I just sewed it up," Alpha Henrick explained.

I raised an eyebrow at her and spoke boldly in front of her. She was very annoyed by what I told her and I smiled sarcastically at her.

"You don't have to explain anything to her, Alpha. You don't belong to her so she has no right to tell you or control what you want to do." I said firmly.

That's not what I'm going for. What I'm going for is you can do it in private, not expose it here in a public place!"she replied emphatically.

My blood heated up at what she said and I was about to attack her, but Alpha Henrick stopped me. She held my hand and boldly reprimanded Aryana to defend me.

"What right do you have to say that word to Clara?!" he asked angrily.

"It's true, Alpha. That woman is really flirting with you!"Aryana insisted.

"As far as I know there is nothing wrong with what we are doing. She's my mate so you don't have the right to say that!" he replied firmly.

Aryana sighed out of annoyance and I simply smiled. I was the one who sided with Alpha Henrick for the second time.

"You can't beat me Aryana. No way!," I said sarcastically to myself.

I heard Alpha Henrick sigh. I looked at him and he did the same to me. I smiled sweetly to calm his hot blood because of Aryana.

"Thank you for always defending me, Alpha," I thanked him with a smile.

"It should be," he replied with a smile.

We smiled at each other and he turned his attention to my foot. He slowly touched it and suddenly I was electrified at that moment. Even he, was surprised by my reaction.

"Does it still hurt?"he asked worriedly.

"N..not anymore," I stammered.

"Are you sure? That's not what I see, Clara," he insisted.

"I'm fine." I said and immediately stood up.

"Wait, take it easy," he stopped.

"Alpha, I can handle this," I told him.

But he was still stubborn and still supported me. He invited me to eat and we went in together and walked towards the dining table. When we arrived, I noticed that he was looking for something. He looked around and I was annoyed. I think that he might be looking for Aryana.

"Who are you looking for?" I asked curiously.

"Uhmm, Nothing," he answered with a smile.

But I wasn't convinced by his answer. I knew he was lying and I didn't think he would lie to me. But wait, why am I being affected? Why am I being hurt?

Maybe I don't want my plan to come to nothing. I know Aryana can be an obstacle. But do I have to feel this pain?

I didn't realize that I was stunned, and he tapped me on the shoulder. I was stunned for a few seconds before I passed out.

"Are you okay, Clara?" I asked gently.

"What a stupid question!" said my mind.

I want to say that I'm not okay because he's looking for someone else. I'm not okay because he can lie to me. My plans can be ruined if that woman continues to enter our lives.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I replied with a smile.

"Are you sure? You've been an idiot for a while," he asked seriously.

"Yes, I'm sure," I answered.

I tried to smile at him and he smiled back at me. It disgusted me to think that he was lying to me just because of that woman. I couldn't stop myself, so I asked him if Aryana was really what he was looking for.

"Are you looking for Aryana?" I asked him seriously.

He was obviously surprised by my question, but I wanted to know the truth. I don't want that woman to be an obstacle to my plans. I can't help but think that she might steal Alpha's attention from me. When that happens, all my plans will be ruined.

"Why did you ask that, Clara?" he asked.

"I notice it's like you're looking for something that's missing," I answered.

Suddenly, Aryana came with Elijah, so our conversation was interrupted. I looked at Aryana badly, and she looked at me the same way. I saw Aries shaking his head as he approached us. He bowed in front of Alpha to pay his respects.

"Alpha, I got bad news. The Rogue, Dragus, threatened to destroy the castle. He even collaborated with his fellow Rogues. What should we do?" asked Elijah.

“I will teach that Shameless Dragus a lesson! I will not let them defeat us! I am your Alpha, and I will die first before he conquers the entire bloody scar!" he answered firmly.

"Prepare the guards for a possible attack by the Rogues. They must be alert and increase the guards outside our castle so that the security foundation can be strong to protect the entire Woundwoods," he ordered seriously.

"Yes,Alpha"Elijah said seriously.

"Alpha, I'm going to say goodbye because I have to go back to my place," said Aryana.

"Wait, don't go out of the kingdom for now. It's too dangerous for you, Aryana," Alpha said softly.

"I know we didn't understand each other earlier but that's no reason to let you go out alone in a very dangerous place," Alpha replied seriously.

I'm disgusted to hear that he is concerned about Aryana. I thought I was special to her, but why is this? Why does he want to protect her, too?

I immediately stood up and walked out and I heard Henrick's Alpha calling me. But I didn't listen to him because of my anger. Why did that woman really show up?

I didn't know that Alpha Henrick followed me, and I was surprised when he spoke behind me. Suddenly my heart beat faster at that time. I was surprised and couldn't move when he hugged me from behind .

"Please, if you have a problem, tell me, Clara. I don't want us to fight anymore, especially since I'm still facing a problem now." he begged.

"Please," he added.

I couldn't stop myself from expressing my feelings and he was surprised by what I asked from him.
