Chapter 22

"Well, you can capture me so you can get what you want," I offered him.

He was surprised by what I said and was obviously confused by what I meant. I made him understand the plan I had in mind so that he wouldn't have any more trouble with getting the wolf's fang.I wasn't even sure that Alpha would give that in exchange for my safety. But I know he will do anything to protect or save me.

"What do you mean?" the vampire asked. 

"It's simple. You will capture me and you will ask the Alpha for that fang in exchange for my freedom," I answered with a smile. 

He thought for a moment and smiled at what I said. He liked my offer and accepted it. I smiled at the thought because I'm sure Alpha Henrick will have a hard time with my plan.

"Take me to a place where you can captivate me," I told him bravely.

We walked towards a narrow road but I was surprised when he stopped walking. He looked at me as if he wanted to ask a question.

"How will he find you? Are you sure he will find you?" he asked.

"Of course he will because he promises to protect me as his mate" I answered with a smile.

"Well, your beauty is really attractive. Any man will chase you. Miss.Beautiful especially you are his mate," he said with a smile.

I don't know what my fate is in that place. But I'm sure Alpha will find me right away. I know he has a strong sense of smell and I left traces of my feet so that he could follow me more easily.

When we got to a house at the end of the narrow road, I was surprised when six vampires appeared in front of us.They were very aggressive and were about to attack me but he stopped them.

"They are my brothers. We became orphans because of Sauro's merciless killing of our parents!" he said emphatically.

"What is she doing here?She's a wolf!!" a woman asked aggressively.

"This one's face is familiar to me!" said a woman.

"Shut up!" he yelled at his siblings.

"She will help us to get the fang of the ancient wolf," he added.

"How are you sure?!"A man asked firmly. 

"Wolves are tricky. You shouldn't trust them right away,"the man added.

 “What else can I do? I have no choice but if this woman betrays me, she knows what can happen to her!"he threatened while looking at me.

"That's up to you if you don't want to believe it. You're the one who needs my help" I said sarcastically.

"I'm sorry. They just can't believe you are here to help But I know you don't want to die in my hands," he smiled.

"I just want you to know that I'm not afraid to die. I just did it because I want to," I answered firmly.

"Okay fine.But for now how long should we wait for him?" he asked.

"Just wait and bring me to the prison now," I commanded.

"Wow! I was amazed by your bravery," he smirked.

A few hours ago, Alpha Henrick still didn't come. I'm disgusted to think that maybe he didn't really look for me. I could still be ruined for what I'm doing if he doesn't show up to these vampires.

"Where is he?!" he asked in a panic.

"Maybe you're just deceiving us," he added.

"Why would I do that?! I'm not crazy enough to go with you and stay in this prison!" I firmly replied to him.

"Okay, calm down, Beautiful. I think we should eat first. I'll come back here later," he said goodbye with a smile.

To be honest, I was impatient to wait and also felt nervous. But my annoyance was more dominant as I thought that maybe Aryana, that's why he forgot about me. Is it right that I offer myself to be in prison just to put him in a risky situation?

I just held my breath from what I was thinking. I heard the conversation of the vampires even though they were in the kitchen.Like what I said,my hearing is really sharp as a wolf.

"Are you sure that woman isn't cheating on us? Why is the Alpha not coming yet?" a man's voice asked.

 "Her face is really familiar. But I don't remember where I saw her," a woman said.

"Let's just wait and be ready to face their Alpha. I'm sure he'll be here because I think Alpha because she is Alpha's mate.,"he said.

"Actually I've faced his Alpha then but I choose to run away because I know I can't fight him alone. But now we have to join forces in case he fights,"he added.

I don't know why I still feel worried for him. Even though I know I shouldn't feel sorry for him and I should just torture him.It hurts so much when I remember what he did to kill them. There is no reward for that so I should destroy his life too.

After a while,I heard footsteps outside the house and I heard the vampires panicking. I heard Alpha Henrick's voice and I smiled. I felt a mixture of joy and conscience at that time. I heard that the vampires confronted him outside. I don't know why I'm nervous but I have to be tough because I am the one who made this plan.

I took a deep breath and remembered my bad dream last night so that my anger prevailed more than my conscience.

"I know Clara is here. Get her out!" he said angrily.

"You're right,she's here, but we won't let her out,"the vampire replied sarcastically.

"Don't try me," he threatened.

The vampires just laughed at him. He screamed to call my name.

"Get her out! Clara! Clara!”he called.

I thought of crying so he could hear me from the prison I was in. I heard him panic but he stopped when the vampire threatened to kill me if he persisted.

"What do you need?! Get Clara out!" he shouted.

"I will only let her out if you give us the ancient wolf fang," the vampire answered sarcastically.

"What?! That's not possible!” he said boldly.

"Okay, I'm easy to talk to," the vampire replied to him.

"Wait!" he stopped.

"You will give me the fang in exchange for the freedom of the one you love," the vampire said seriously.

"Alright, take her out first so I can make sure she's really here," he replied.

The two male vampires immediately came in to open the cage and take me outside and show me to him.

When I went out the door I could see his concern for me. His bright eyes softened my feelings. But I still wanted to see him struggling and suffering.

But I was just surprised when I witnessed his burning eyes and I was just shocked when he already held me in just one blink of an eye.My eyes widened when I saw six vampires without a head in front of me. The vampire man I was with earlier was about to run but he failed to run away from him. He begged but Alpha didn't listen to him and tightly held the collar of his clothes.But I felt nervous when I heard what he said to him.
