Episode 18

★Silva★

Can you believe the offensive language that she spoke and consider it as a legitimate word? After uttering those words, she moved aside, and I turned to face her.

"I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you are asking me to do to Lucia," I asked Diana as she stepped back.

"I'm not asking you to do anything to her. I just want you to remove her from this pack in any way possible," she said as I smiled slightly.

"So you want me to betray the Alpha?" I asked.

"You have betrayed him so many times, even without any compensation. So why wouldn't you do it now that I am offering so much for it?" She said, causing me to look down and shake my head.

I couldn't blame her. This was all my fault from the beginning. I had been deceived by this daughter of a bitch!

After a moment of reflection, I looked up at her again. "And you know that your father is capable of cutting off my head," I said.

"You know how much your father loved Lucia. He could cut off my head if he finds out the truth later," I said to her.

"We have been living in lies for a while now, but he has never found out," she replied.

"So how is he going to find out about this one? Are you going to tell him?" She asked, and I stared at her for a while.

"You know that you are trying to make us play with fire, right? Are you aware of that?" I said.

"Together, we will put out this fire," she said as she stepped closer to me and looked at me.

I turned silently and started making my way out, but I couldn't help but mutter to myself, "I wonder how the hell I am going to make this work."

As I walked away, Diana called me back, "Silva!" she called, and I turned to look at her.

"Come here, and I'll explain how to make it work since you seem to be having trouble using your brain," she said as she stepped closer to me. I just stared at her, unsure of what to do next.

"Just tell him that you caught the wrong person and that she is not the daughter he is looking for," she suggested. As I considered her advice, I realized that this approach might not work. After all, the girl had our pack's mark on her arm, and Alpha Jesse already knew the name of the mother, Ulva.

Which makes the both of them believe that they are daughter and father.

"I'm not sure how we can deceive him about all of that," I said. "She has our pack's mark on her arm, so how am I supposed to hide that?"

Diana looked down, seemingly deep in thought. After a few moments of silence, she looked back up at me and suggested, "Why don't you tell Alpha Jesse that you gave her the mark and that you're sorry for deceiving him?"

This approach might be more honest and straightforward, and it could help to mitigate any potential conflicts between me and the Alpha . It's worth considering as an option.

"And you did it because he threatened to harm you if you didn't bring her back," she explained, and I began to consider her words. She had a good point.

"But what about the family background they've already shared?" I asked her.

"I don't understand," she replied.

"Well, your dad already confirmed that she's the daughter of his missing wife," I explained.

"I asked, 'How are we going to approach this?'" I said, while she smiled and walked around. I suspect that this girl has a manipulative nature, always looking for ways to benefit herself.

"Can't you see why I said you don't use your common sense? Why not let me do the thinking for you?" she said, as I continued to look at her.

"Just go to him and tell him that everything that happened was an act, and that you were the one who told Lucia everything she acted,"

"And you couldn't let that continue because she is planning evil against the pack" she said, as I nodded in agreement.

"I have everything I need, but am I seriously going to betray my master?" I thought to myself. However, as Diana pointed out, I have betrayed him before, so this wouldn't be any different.

After pondering in her room for a while, I stepped out and immediately ran into Arianna, who appeared to be in a hurry.

"Are you alright?" I asked, to which she nodded in response.

"I'm fine. The sick patient is awake. Lucia told me to inform you to call Alpha Jesse," she announced, and I didn't waste any time.

"Okay, we'll meet you guys there," I said as I headed towards Jesse's room.

★LOGAN★

Let's forget about the tears streaming down my face.

I am elated to have survived, even though I am currently disoriented and unaware of my location and purpose here.

Nonetheless, this experience has strengthened my resolve to avenge the death of my family at the hands of that beast. I am determined to extract his heart and present it to him prior to his demise.

In the midst of my lingering sorrow, two men entered my hospital room.

"Here he is, Alpha," one of them said, pointing at me. Perplexed, I rose from my bed and looked at them with confusion. I didn't recognize any of them, not even the girl who had been staring at me since.

The Alpha approached me and took a seat next to me. "I am Alpha Jesse," he introduced himself, and memories of my mother's stories flooded my mind.

Is everything my mother said becoming a reality? It's so surreal.

"I am the Alpha of this pack, and you are currently at the Impulse Pack," he informed me.

He continued, "We discovered you injured in the bush, and we recognized your mark as one of our own," he said raising my hand to reveal a mark on my arm. He pointed to his identical mark, confirming the truth of his statement.

"What happened to you? Who are you, and who did this to you?" Alpha Jesse inquired, observing my tears.

"I am Logan, and the son of Theo..." I began, but was cut off by the Alpha.

"Wait a minute," he interjected, causing me to pause.

"What is your mother's name?" Alpha Jesse asked.

"Sylvie was my mother's name," I responded, watching as Alpha Jesse's gaze turned to Silva.

They cast suspicious glances at each other, but I was unsure of what was transpiring.

"Where is your mother now?" Alpha Jesse inquired.

"My mother was hanged to death," I replied in a low, pained tone, tears streaming down my face as everyone in the room gazed at each other.

"By whom?" Jesse pressed.

"By a despicable vampire who considers himself the grandmaster and the most powerful vampire to ever exist."

"He goes by the name, Rubin. He raped my sister to death," I revealed, causing Alpha Jesse to stare at me in disbelief before turning his gaze to Silva.

The other two girls gasped in shock, covering their mouths with their hands.

"Do you happen to know his whereabouts?" Jesse inquired.
