Chapter 29 Time to get serious
Kael looked at her for a while before taking off his shirt and turning the other way. He was sure the last thing she wanted was to be cuddled right now so he decided to give her the space she needed.
After a while, Hazel opened her eyes and turned a bit to see if he was asleep. She couldn't see his face as he was backing her so she also laid back down and went to sleep.
The next morning, before Hazel woke up, Kael was gone. She sighed a little, feeling he left early because of the argument they had yesterday but she soon shook her head, trying to stop herself from thinking about it. She stood up and decided to get ready for the day.
She needed to start training again and she was determined not to let another day pass without practice.
She got dressed in some tights and bra top, one that was very comfortable to train in then she topped it with a jacket.
When she turned around, she was startled to see Dona also dressed like she was going to the gym.
“Going somewhere”?
Hazel asked but Dona shook her head.
“Not anywhere far. I heard the maids speaking yesterday and it turns out alpha Kael has a gym and training room in this mansion. Might as well put it to good use”.
She said and Hazel smiled.
“I was actually heading to train. We can do it together”.
Hazel said and Dona nodded immediately in excitement.
When they got to the training room, the guards and Kael's men who were also training couldn't help but look at the two beautiful women who had just walked in.
One had a dark shining hair tied up in a ponytail with beautiful eyes and just the right amount of curves while the other had grey hair and was a bit bigger than the other which made her curves even more visible in those tights.
One of the men spoke.
“I know she's the Luna, but who is that”?
He asked and the man next to him replied.
“That's Dona, the lady Luna Hazel returned with”.
He said and the man who spoke earlier nodded.
“She's definitely a beauty to behold, might as well make my presence known”.
Unknown to the men who were talking, Miguel was hearing everything they were saying.
Distracted by their words, he looked at Dona and truly, her curves were way too glaring in those tights.
'why is she wearing such clothes'?
He thought to himself.
Shaking his head, he went back to hitting and kicking the punching bag in front of him.
“Hazel”?
Dona called, suddenly looking scared.
“I think I'll go back to the room”.
She said and Hazel looked at her with a brow raised, wondering what happened but she finally read the room and smiled when she noticed that Dona wasn't comfortable with all of the stares.
Moving closer, she took off her jacket and wrapped it around her waist.
“Why would you run away? It's not your fault that you're bless with such nice ass”.
She said and Dona smiled shyly.
“Is that supposed to make me feel better”?
She asked and Hazel looked at the jacket on her waist.
“That's better, now they'll look away for a bit”.
She said and Dona nodded.
“Come on, let's go into the ring”.
She said and Dona's eyes opened wide.
“There is no way! You always beat me whenever we fight”.
She said and Hazel shrugged her shoulders.
“Then you'll have to try to beat me. Don't worry, there are no rules, you can use your powers and I'll also use mine".
That didn't calm Dona at all.
“That's worse Hazel, you're a tribreed, I'm just a witch”.
She said and Hazel looked at her confused.
“I'm not going to wolf out on you, I'm only going to use my witch side. Besides, I've never known you to be one to back away from a fight".
She said and moved closer to Dona.
“Is it… because of them”?
She asked and Dona shook her head.
'i don't care about them, but I can't embarrass myself in front of him'.
She thought to herself. She had seen Miguel when she walked in first and all the motivation to train immediately flew out of the window.
“Then get in”.
Hazel said looking a lot more serious now. Too serious for Dona to refuse.
“Uhm… o… okay”.
She said and got into the ring.
Miguel looked at them, wondering what they were trying to do but he didn't make his stare too obvious.
Getting into position, they immediately drew the attention of the men in the training room.
“Just keep your eyes on me, stay focused and don't go easy on me”.
Hazel said and Dona nodded, folding her hands into a fist, ready to fight as she bent a little.
Hazel smiled with one side of her lips before looked at her with determination.
Hazel was the first to attack but Dona just ran under her, dodging her attack.
“Come on Dona, you can't run away from the enemy, you have to fight”.
She said and Dona looked towards Miguel. Unlike the other men, he didn't seem to be paying them any attention at all.
“Ignore them”!
She said, pulling back Dona's attention.
“Think of it like this, if you don't win, you'll die”.
She said and even though Dona knew she didn't mean it, she nodded, determined to get serious.
'alright Dona, he doesn't even care about you, stop acting so easy'.
She said to herself before her eyes suddenly brimmed with determination.
Unknown to her, Miguel wasn't focused on his workout at all anymore. All he could focus on right now was her.
Soon, the fight got intense as they charged at each other fiercely.
Dona went for Hazel's leg, pushing her to the ground and punching her hard on the face but Hazel didn't stay down for long as she soon used her legs to wrap Dona's waist, switching their positions in seconds.
Now she was on top, and she began hitting.
They didn't look like friends at this point, they looked like two angry animals, ready to tear each other apart.
