Chapter 177: The Last Hours

Chapter 177: The Last Hours
The Texas landscape had flattened out into endless scrub and pale dirt as they reached the outskirts of Presidio. Mid-morning sun beat down on the hood of the car.
Oliver sat straighter in the driver’s seat, one hand on the wheel, his eyes flicking between the road and the rearview mirror more than usual. Del could tell he was running through the crossing plan over and over in his head.
She knew this was it. Once they crossed the border, there wouldn’t be another real chance. Whatever she was going to do, it had to happen here.
After a few quiet miles, Oliver’s right hand left the wheel and settled on her thigh, just above her knee. At first, he simply rested it there. Then his fingers began to move, slowly squeezing the soft flesh of her thigh, kneading it gently before rubbing up and down in long, soothing strokes.
Del glanced down at his hand, then over at him. “Oliver… what are you doing?”
He didn’t look at her, eyes fixed on the road. “Just touching you,” he said quietly. “Helps me think. My head’s been all over the place since we left this morning.”
His palm slid a little higher, squeezing her thigh again, this time a bit more possessively. Del shifted in her seat, pressing her legs closer together.
“Oliver, come on,” she said. “You should probably keep both hands on the wheel. We’re going pretty fast.”
“I’m fine,” he muttered, though his grip on the steering wheel with his left hand tightened. “Just relax for me, okay? This actually calms me down.”
For a while, he stayed on her thigh, rubbing and squeezing the muscle there. Del could feel the tension in his arm, like he was using the contact to steady himself. But gradually his hand began drifting inward, fingers tracing the sensitive skin closer to the inside of her thigh. He squeezed there too, then let his palm rest fully between her legs, cupping her through her pants.
Del’s breath hitched. “Oliver… seriously. This isn’t a good idea right now.”
He let out a shaky breath. “I know. But you have no idea how much my mind keeps racing. Touching you like this helps.”
His fingers started moving again, rubbing slowly along the seam of her pants, right between her thighs.
Del tried to keep still, but warmth was already spreading through her body against her will. She could feel her body reacting.
After a few minutes, Oliver pressed his palm harder against her center, rubbing slow circles directly over her through the fabric.
“Fuck…” he murmured. “You’re getting really warm down here.”
Del swallowed hard, her thighs tensing. “Oliver, we shouldn’t be doing this right now. Not while you’re driving this fast.”
“I know,” he said, but he didn’t stop. “But…your body is pushing back against my hand like it wants more.”
Del’s stomach tightened. “Oliver, come on. What if someone sees us?”
Instead of answering right away, he leaned slightly toward her, eyes still on the road, and spoke in that soft, coaxing tone he knew worked on her.
“Listen to me,” he murmured. “You’re practically throbbing against my fingers, Del. You can pretend you don’t want it, but your body’s telling me something different.” He pressed firmer. “Unzip your pants for me, baby. Let me take care of you properly.”
Del hesitated, biting her lip as the constant rubbing made her hips twitch involuntarily. After a long pause, she finally gave in and she reached down and unzipped her pants.
The moment the zipper came down, Oliver slipped his hand inside her panties, fingers gliding through her slick folds.
“Fuck…” he breathed, clearly relieved. “You’re soaked.”
He pushed one finger slowly inside her, then added a second, stretching her open while the car sped down the empty highway at seventy-five miles an hour. His breathing grew heavier, his anxiety visibly melting away as lust took over.
“That’s it,” he groaned softly, curling his fingers to stroke that sensitive spot inside her with every thrust. “Dammit, you feel so fucking good. So tight and wet around my fingers.”
The wet sounds of his fingers moving in and out of her filled the car. Del gripped the edge of the seat, her breath coming in short gasps. Every time he curled his fingers just right, a sharp wave of pleasure shot through her. The risk of him driving this fast while doing this only heightened the sensation.
“Oliver… slow down a little,” she managed to say, her voice shaky. “You’re going way too fast.”
“I can’t,” he groaned, adding more pressure with his thumb as he started rubbing circles on her swollen clit. “All that anxiety… it’s gone when I feel how wet you are for me. I’m so fucking hard right now just from touching you.”
He kept working her — fingers thrusting deep and fast, thumb never stopping its perfect rhythm on her clit. Del’s thighs started trembling harder as the pleasure built fast and intensely.
“Oh god…” Del gasped, her voice breaking. “Oliver— fuck, I’m—”
The orgasm hit her suddenly. Her back arched sharply off the seat as a broken, high-pitched cry tore from her throat.
“Ah—!” Intense spasms ripped through her, her inner walls clenching and fluttering wildly around his thrusting fingers. Sharp, electric pleasure exploded from her clit, shooting down her legs in hot waves that made her toes curl tightly inside her shoes and her hips jerk uncontrollably against his hand.
“Oh my god—” she whimpered, her voice shaky and overwhelmed as the pleasure kept crashing through her.
Oliver smiled with dark satisfaction as hot, slick wetness flooded around his fingers. He didn’t slow down, stroking her through every spasm, drawing out her climax until her whole body was shaking.
When the waves finally began to ease, Del slumped back against the seat, breathing hard and ragged. Oliver slowly eased his fingers out of her and gently cupped her over her soaked panties, giving her soft, soothing strokes as she came down.
“Easy, baby… that’s it,” he murmured tenderly. “You did so well. Just breathe for me.”
Del closed her eyes for a moment, still trying to steady her breathing. Oliver kept gently rubbing her through her pants, his touch now slow and comforting rather than teasing.
“I love you, Del.”
She didn’t say anything, but her heart throbbed fast and louder.
“You okay?” he asked, glancing over at her with genuine concern.
Del swallowed, her voice a little hoarse. “Yeah… I’m okay.”
Oliver gave her one last gentle squeeze before pulling his hand away completely. He wiped his fingers on his jeans, then reached over and brushed a few strands of hair away from her damp forehead.
“You ready?” he asked, his tone shifting.
Del stared straight ahead at the road that would soon lead them to the border. She slowly zipped up her pants with slightly trembling hands.
“Yeah,” she said quietly, though she meant something entirely different.
