“Are you related to Mr. Saltzman? He suddenly asked out of curiosity, I stilled “you two have the same surnames he’s gaze never leave you, he’s looking the whole time and his attention is only, the way he look at you is different” he wondering
“It doesn't mean we have the surnames we’re related” I simply said
“Hm.. you’re right but there’s really something on his look” he hold his chin and thinking
“You’re thinking too much” I fix our things and ready to leave
“Are you his wife? That's why you’re working for a clothing company and that's another reason why you don't like promotion too?” i stop moving “and your marriage is not in good status or you are his ex-lover or he wants to make his mine again or are both blood related? Like a cousin?” I laugh at him “Are you reading novel books?” i asked out of curiosity
“Ah, yeah.” he giggled “stop assuming, fiction are fiction stop to hoping that the’ll happen in real life” i bitterly answered
“Why are you so bitter? Does your ex have cheated on you?” he widely smiled
I laugh hard on his imagination “ i don't have ex, i’m scared to get hurt”
He laughed “ you’re cute, don't you mind if i’ll be your boyfriend i wont hurt you” he joked “try me, so you can have experience and i wont hurt im loyal” he raise his hands as if his promising on something
"Hey! Aren't you done flirting?!" We saw the head of hiring, her head peered out of the door. "This is a working place not a place for flirting!" She added.
I can't blame her for being bitter. She is an old lady, she watches over everyone and loves to roam the company, so everyone who works here knows her.
“I said that we will leave Ms. tina" Jake answered and helped me with our things. There's a playful smile plastered on his lips and I am too
“Thank you for making me happy, you lighten my mood” I said as we stormed the place and Ms. Tina looked at us suspiciously and she's glaring at us too.
“Ms. Tina doesn't look at us that way" Jake returned and told her "If you want to have a love life, don't look at us that way, okay?” Jake joked on her and Ms. Tina's face became irritated and left.
“You always tease her, that’s why her blood is boiling whenever she sees you” I told him and we’re now heading in the elevator.
He pressed the floor number and when it opened there’s a lot of employees.
“ Do you want to eat dinner outside? it's my treat since this is my first time to talk to you” he starting to have a conversation with me
I smiled shyly “Uhm.”
“I notice you’re not socializing too much and you’re always alone”
“Uhmm” someone noticed me. “ I just like being alone. It gives me peace of mind and I'm really into social groups but I have good friends” I told him.
I’m missing my friends.
“Uhmm” he nodded, “ nice. How about my offer?” we came into the elevator “are you going to reject me? I rarely treat. He concise me.
I nodded at him as my answer. The elevator opened “Okay, see you later. He smiled widely at me before he entered his office. He's a jolly person, my instinct never fails me.
There's nothing if I take his invitations and we’re just friends and a coworker. Also, I am shy to refuse.
Time passed faster and I finished my work peacefully at ease. He waited for me outside the company and we rode his car even it’s just in front of the company, we're going to eat.
“I like their food here. And i’m sorry if i just brought you here to be near” we’re now heading in the restaurant. I already ate here. The foods are all delicious but expensive.
“It’s fine. I rarely eat here and they’re food is really good and the customer service is excellent. This is the most delicious and go-tot restaurant here in the north. He opened the door for me.
“yes, it’s too 90’s vibes. The customer service is really thumbs p” he agreed too.

“I often order their beef here it’s like combination of filipino and korean dish” he told me without me asking him
“I’ll just go with you” I saw our work mate here. This is the restaurant who wouldn't get rid of people. It's always full of customers here. I haven’t eaten here before with such a small crowd..
“Good evening Ma'am and Sir. What are your orders?”the woman asked about our orders and Jake told her
“Do you want anything?” Jake asked me.
“That’s all” I shyly smiled at him.
He ordered something “okay, I’ll just repeat it Sir, one order of dessert de dessert and two orders of beef rolly ala sauce and juice”
Jake nodded to her “Please wait 15 minutes to serve your orders Ma’am and Sir” the waitress politely said before she stormed our table.
“So, what did we talk about?” Jake asked me “you’re a shy type?” he asked me and I nodded “I am right! I notice too, you rarely socialized and I never saw you talking to our block mate”
I answered his questions and I asked about him too. We talked about our personal lives too, he told me too that he was in a band group and that group splitted because one of the members left. He's also an entrepreneur, who's working and earning to expand his business. I am right that he's a bit rich, I can say, the way he talks and acts.
We had fun and we talked about a lot of things. I enjoyed his company. He is not boring and he is talkative, he knows how to get his listener's attention. "Let me take you a ride. Where is your way?" We're not heading in the exit of this restaurant.
I learn a lot of things.
“I’m in the south” I told him “where is your way?” I asked.
“I'm in the North."
"We're not on the same way" we're finally outside the restaurant.
"No, I insist since I invited you for dinner and for your safety, of course. You can't find a cab at this hour." I nodded at him. I don't want to be hard on myself. I don't want to wait here for hours and I'm so tired. I wanted to rest. My back is aching.
We’re on the road when bad things suddenly happen.

“Ah shit!” he cursed. The car suddenly stopped and we're near the village. “What happened?” I nervously asked, I held tight the grip of the seatbelt. I don't want danger, i’m silently praying he won't do bad things against on me and it’s my first time to be with him.
“I’ll just check it” I waited inside the car and as much as I wanted to ask for help my phone battery died.
He came back and “Tire break. I can’t call someone right now” I looked at him with fear in my eyes “Hey, I won’t do anything to you” he laughs, he notice how nervous I am
“I want to go home,'' I said in a low tone voice. I regretted being with him. Natatakot ako na baka may gawin siyang masama sa’ken at pinalno niya ito.
“You’re safe with me. Do you have a connector? I’ll charge my phone” I shake my hands as my answered, I look outside and there’s no one coming even a car
“We need to ask a help and we’re far away from the village” he said
“I want to go home” I’m really scared we’re just two at this place and it’s a bit dark. I feel more safe with Ken, even he’s always grumpy, I never felt scared whenever I am with him
He laughs towards me “I’ll bring you home safely and whole. You’re thinking too much. Rest assured I won’t do anything bad at you” he tried to find something inside his car
“You’re stupid, If i’m not mistaken there’s a connctor inside the car that can use to charges phones!” I whined. I saw Ken's car that thing
He looked at me unbelievably “ do you think i have that thing? My car is late update” he tried to open his open
“I just walk, village is juts near from here” I open the door of his car and he tried to stop me at i am eager to go home safe and soundly
I want Ken, right, I feel so scared and I’m not safe.
“Hey, it's dangerous and it’s still far” he got outside too and followed me “I promise I won’t do anything bad to you, can’t you see I’m finding a way to ask for help” I walked faster, I’m not really comfortable, I want to cry. He chase me and held my arm but I struggled
“Don't touch me!” he let go of me “I’ll go home alone! Don't follow me!” and I run but he tried stop me
I really want to go home, while I'm running I tried to open my phone. Minutes have passed. I'm seeing a car pass by me and it gives me hope but it disappoints.
Why do we need to feel unsafe at night walking on the road alone? We should be safe. A motorcycle passed by me and they point a gun in forehead , I step backward
“Give me your bag miss, or I’ll kill you” he said as I kept on moving backward but he’s walking forward. The other man he’s with him is smirking on me
“Don’t h-hurt me” I can’t see their faces, they’re wearing bonnet
“Give me your bag now!” I gave my bag because I’m too scared they’ll do bad things to me. As I gave my bag i thought they’re going to leave but they stayed
The other man looked at me from head to toe “Hmm. nice body” his voice is filled with lust and it added in my fear.
“W-what do you w-what?” I asked in and I looked in my surroundings to ask for help, but I’m in a dark place and villages are far away. Why did Ken choose to live in this place? This is not a safe road on the way out. You need to pass a road where there’s a lot of trees on both sides of the road.
“Boy let's go. Someone passed here and we’re dead. I don't want to go in jail again” the one took my bag pulled the shirt of this man infront of me.
“Boy let’s savour the moment” he said devilish and it makes shivers.
I run but they chase me “Help” i ask for help and I keep on running as fast as i could but they’re really chasing me.
“Boy lets go!” the man stopping his friend but they;re still chasing me.
“Boy, give this woman to me. I like her. ``I'm hearing their conversation and they're just near me.
“YOU ARE returning to your old habits again.” Nathan seriously said to Kier.
Kier, did something again. He had a fight with someone in the street. Arm to arm combat, he shoots the man, and thanks God, no one is there. He's using his power as a policeman.
Nathan is with him and they're now on the way to Kier house. He left his car in his house since he doesn't want to waste his car gas. Gas is too expensive. He needs to save money.
They had a meeting and he’s asking for his help. Kier, a friend of his, is really incredible and resourceful, he’s a genius and everything he’s doing. He’s making things possible.
Kier did not answer him and he’s busy with his phone while he’s driving. He’s been calling Shielyn for almost hours since he’s in the meeting.
