Chapter 62 Lily Wedding
MIA
I turned off the taps as I stared at myself in the mirror with a smile on my face, dressed in my silver nightgown and robe.
I am currently in the bathroom, doing my night hygiene before I go to bed.
It has been twenty-four hours since Axel told me about our wedding coming up on Friday.
My heart can't contain the joy.
At first, I did feel it was too early. Like we are being rushed. But his mom is leaving the country on Saturday and won't be coming anytime soon for some reason.
She told Axel that if he really wants her to attend he has to set a date already. Axel had no choice but to fix it on Friday.
He said there is no need to waste time. Let's just get married already.
My heart has been fluttering ever since.
I am so happy.
I am getting married very soon. And to the man of my dreams.
It is so exciting.
He said we are getting my wedding dress tomorrow morning.
I can't wait to see it.
I smiled, lowering my gaze as the thoughts caressed my mind.
I don't care about the mall or my ring price. After he made me understand why he wants us to get married I badly, I discarded all thoughts.
It doesn't matter the cheap dresses or the cheap ring, the fact that he gave them to me with love, is enough.
Besides, I was never with him for the money.
And if you ask me if he values me, I will say yes. He does value me. Value mustn't be shown only in material things.
Actions show value too.
He defended me against his mother and Amy.
He said he is in love with me.
He really values me.
Material things don't matter.
As long as I am happy, nothing else matters.
My mom and Vicky came to my mind, killing my smile.
I let out a sigh.
I would love to have them at my wedding. They are my family.
But mom, she.....
I rested my hands on the sink as I kept staring at myself in the mirror.
I doubt if she would want to come.
The last time we spoke, she warned me not to call her again or come to her house.
I guess I have to do this without a family member of mine present.
My heart clenched at the thought.
I could have mom walk me down the aisle. Or even Vicky. I don't mind.
I let out a bitter chuckle at my thought.
A tear rolled down my face. I wiped it off instantly.
As much as it hurts, I have to take it. I am walking down the hall alone.
I reached for the taps and turned them on. I washed my face with some water and turned the taps off.
I walked towards the part where the towels are hung.
I used a part of a towel and wiped my face before walking back into the room.
Axel is on the bed, shirtless and under the duvet. He is leaning against the headboard and he is busy with his phone.
I stood at the door of the bathroom, staring at him as a smile formed on my lips while my heart fluttered.
Life with Axel.
The thought is exciting.
I can't contain myself.
I really can't wait.
I don't feel rushed. I really want this.
I want him.
Like he could hear my thoughts, he looked up from his phone.
He smiled. "Hey,"
I blushed. "Hey,"
"Done already?" He asked.
"Mm hmm." I hummed, walking towards the other side of the bed.
I got under the duvet and he leaned closer to my lips. He held the side of my neck and cheek as he claimed them with his, making my heart race.
He moved his lips on mine softly and gently in a way I like.
He pulled away and smiled at me.
I smiled as well.
"Good night, Axel."
He furrowed his brows a bit.
I caressed his cheek before lying on the side, my back facing him.
I adjusted to get comfortable as I covered myself properly with the duvet while closing my eyes.
Next, I sensed him moving closer.
I opened my eyes as his hand moved on my waist and I felt his breath close to my ear and face.
"What do you mean good night, baby? Aren't we going to have some fun tonight?" He asked, placing a kiss on my neck.
I felt goosebumps on my body.
"You smell so good," he muttered, taking my earlobe in his mouth.
I closed my eyes, feeling a weird sensation coupled with fear.
He flipped me a bit, making me lie on my back as I stared at his lust-filled eyes staring down at mine like he could eat me up.
"Let's fuck the entire night,"
My heart dropped as he buried his face in my neck, kissing and sucking.
I stared at the ceiling, feeling a lot of weirdness.
He got on top of me, kissing and sucking my skin.
Big Kai filled my head instantly.
For the first time since Axel proposed.
"No one is allowed to touch you,"
I gulped in terror as Axel trailed kisses down my chest.
"Axel...."
He shut me up by kissing my lips.
I moaned as he devoured my lips.
I got flashes of the way Big Kai picked me up close to the bathroom door and pinned me to the wall.
The rough and possessive kiss he gave me.
The way he threw me on the bed and.....
Axel pulled from my lips as he pulled down my nightie and my breasts all got exposed.
"Axel, wait," I pushed him away slightly as I shifted on the bed while covering myself with my robe securely.
He stared at me with furrowed brows.
I brushed my hair back as I stared at him nervously.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
God, why am I letting Big Kai get to me again?
I am getting married to Axel.
What is wrong with me?
Why do I get scared whenever Axel wants to touch me?
Like I am doing something I shouldn't do and getting killed is the consequence.
"Mia, what is wrong?" He asked.
"N.... nothing."
"I just want to make love to you, baby."
"Um...can we....can we please wait till after the wedding?"
His face twitched.
I stared at him as my heart kept pounding.
He scoffed. "Seriously?"
I lowered my gaze, still holding onto my robe.
"Mia, we are definitely going to get married. Friday is just three days away. It doesn't matter when we do it. Now or after, it doesn't matter."
I stared at him.
"It's not like you are a virgin or something. We have done it a lot of times. What fucking changed?"
I almost flinched at his tone. He sounds angry.
God, please don't let this be a problem.
"Mia,"
"Please, Axel. Let's wait."
He scoffed, looking away.
I lowered my gaze.
"Is it like you said before? You still haven't forgiven me?"
I looked at him and shook my head.
"Is that the reason? Despite everything?"
"No, no. I have forgiven you. It is not the reason."
"Then what is the....." He paused, heaving a sigh.
I stared at him nervously. He is pissed.
"You know what? It is fine. Friday. I can wait. I can fucking wait." He said, getting down on his feet.
He grabbed his pillow and his phone.
"Axel,"
He didn't respond but headed towards the door.
"Where are you going?"
"Go to sleep, Mia." He ordered without looking at me as he walked out the door and slammed it shut, making me flinch.
My shoulders fell as I stared at the door.
I rested my back on the headboard and stared at the ceiling.
Flash memories of how Big Kai threw me on the bed and grabbed my ankle filled my head.
The way he discarded my panties and landed his head between my legs.
The flip and his lips on my butt.
I clenched my legs together at the thought.
I closed my eyes and opened them.
I ran my fingers through my hair, getting more frustrated as the thought repeated.
You need to stop, Mia.
Big Kai is not here.
You are back to Axel. The love of your life.
He loves you and you both are getting married.
Get yourself together.
Don't ruin this.
Don't.
FRIDAY MORNING......
AT THE STEELS'S VILLA........
I stared at the beautiful view through the balcony from where I am seated inside the top room, dressed in my wedding gown but I have a white robe securing it from getting stained by makeup.
Two girls are working on my makeup while another girl is working on my hair.
The view is perfect from her. The beach outside the villa and the huge pool in the villa.
The villa is a luxurious one owned by Axel's mom. He decided we have our wedding here and I can't be more glad to have accepted.
This place is very beautiful. Our pictures will look very beautiful.
It is a bright Friday morning and very soon, I will be Mrs Mia Axel Steel.
My heart fluttered at the thought.
I counted the hours and we are finally here.
My wedding day.
A lot of work is going on downstairs. Everything is getting ready. The decorations, our cake, the guests' chairs and I also have bridesmaids.
Axel hired three to join me since I don't have friends.
I would love Mary to join but I couldn't reach her. She doesn't work at the mall anymore.
It's sad. It feels weird to have strangers as bridesmaids. I haven't seen them yet but I heard they are in a different room getting ready.
So is Axel.
I can't wait to see him standing close to the priest, staring at me as I approach.
I moved my eyes to my beautiful flowers on a glass table.
Axel got lilies for me.
He is so sweet.
My future husband.
After everything, I plan to give him the best night he has ever had tonight.
I believe I am ready. No more being terrified or triggered.
I am going to satisfy tonight. That is a promise I have myself.
Satisfying my husband.
I can't wait for that.
But celebration first, Mrs Steel.
A few minutes later, I was done with my makeup and hair.
I got on my feet and walked towards the mirror.
I smiled at the sight of myself.
I looked good as a bride, don't I?
The makeup is not much but beautiful. Nice bridal hairstyle.
I love it.
"I hope you like it, ma'am." One of the girls said.
I turned to them.
"Yes, I do. Thank you so much, guys," I said with a smile.
They smiled at me too.
"You are welcome, ma'am." They said with a smile as well.
"We are leaving," one of them said.
I nodded. "Okay."
They packed their things and headed out of the room.
I turned back to the mirror, staring at myself.
I untied my robe and pulled it down, revealing my beautiful wedding dress.
It is a long A-line off-shoulder dress with a long veil on my back.
It is really beautiful.
I loved it the minute I saw it.
Axel is such a darling.
Gosh, I can't wait to be his wife!
I felt my bladder picking up.
I need to pee.
I leaned down and picked up my dress before walking towards the bathroom.
I entered the bathroom and moved towards the toilet.
I raised my dress with a lot of effort.
Geez.
The dress is quite expensive.
I did my business and was done. I flushed the toilet and walked towards the tap.
I stared at myself in the mirror as I washed my hands.
I smiled at the way I look.
My heart fluttered.
I am thankful for this day. Thank you so much.
I smiled as I reached and turned off the taps.
I grabbed a hand towel close by and wiped my hands.
I placed the towel back and headed for the door.
I grabbed the doorknob and walked out the door, only to find a tall man dressed in a blue hoodie covering his head and black jeans, standing with his hands in his pockets, close to the entrance of the balcony staring at the view.
I furrowed my brows, staring at his broad back.
Is he part of the makeup and hair team?
"Um....excuse me? Who are you?"
He didn't respond.
"Hello?"
Slowly, he pulled down his hoodie and turned around.
I froze as my eyes widened.
My heart sank.
"Sup, shawty?"
Good God.
