Chapter 6 Lil Kai
BIG KAI’S POV
"Now," I averted my eyes as I headed out. She followed me behind, her heels clicking on my tiled floors as she followed.
I walked along the hallway that had huge windows on both sides.
The refreshing wind hit my skin severely thanks to my white tank which left my tattooed shoulders and arms exposed.
Some motherfuckers think they can mess with me by stealing my fucking son.
I'mma show 'em who the fuck Big Kai is.
You don't mess with me.
I am the last nigga you should mess with.
Wherever my son is, he had better be safe and alive.
If a scratch comes to him, I will skin everyone invoice alive and spread their skin on the fucking streets.
Imani led the way towards the area that looks like a cell where I keep and torture motherfuckers who dare to double-cross me.
I furrowed my brows as she walked towards one of the cells and I saw Isadora locked up in one of them and lying on the floor.
This shit can be fucking real.
We stood in front of the cell, staring at Isadora.
"What the hell, Imani?"
"I have my reasons,"
"Fuck your reasons, Girl! Why the fuck would you lock up my baby mama in this fucking place?" I yelled.
"She got crazy, Kai. I had no choice. This was the only place I could think of," she explained, making me grit my teeth angrily.
She clasped her together. "Trust me, she is...."
"Big Kai?" Isadora's voice got our attention.
She is raising her head a bit. She looked my way, giving me a tiny relief as she sat up slowly.
Her long black is rough and a huge part of it is covering her face.
"Isadora,"
She grinned, making furrow my brows.
"It's you. It's Big Kai. It is really you!" she said, chuckling weirdly.
"Why the fuck does she sound like that?" I asked without looking away from her.
"I told you," Imani said as Isadora got on her feet. She began clapping her hands happily and chuckling.
"She has lost it," Imani added.
"Big Kai! Big Kai! Big Kai!" Isadora sang as she jogged towards me.
What the fuck?
"Big Kai!" She snapped, catching me off guard as I took a step back from the cell gate.
So did Imani.
Isadora extended her hands out of the cell gate and towards me.
I looked at Imani.
Imani looked at me as well and shook her head.
I returned my gaze to Isadora.
She is moving her head side to side, grinning happily and singing my name like a fucking kindergarten kid.
"The fuck happened to her?" I asked without taking my eyes off her.
"I have no idea. I met her like this," Imani answered.
"What did you mean you met her like this? That doesn't make any sense."
"I am serious. You can ask Naomi."
This shit is crazy.
My son is missing. Now my baby mama is fucking nuts.
What the fuck is going on?
"If you ask me, Kai, I think she left Jamal like she always does and went to her hidden corner to take hard drugs."
I furrowed my brows in confusion as I looked at Imani.
"What you mean?" I asked.
"Yes, Kai. Isadora had been on drugs. I have told you that countless times."
"The fuck you mean you told me...." I paused. "You never told me anything."
"I did, but you never listen to me. I told you at first that she is not good for you. She is a worthless Hispanic hoe, but you decided to have a child with her. Now look"
"Having a child wasn't deliberate. The shit just happened."
She scoffed, making me move my eyes at her.
She looked at me with that boldness.
"Yeah right. You know, I still don't understand why you can't spare a look at the girls in our race. Why is it always girls from other races?"
I scoffed.
"You heard me, Kai. You had one look at Isadora the very first day I brought her here and the next thing you know she was in your mother fucking bed."
"The bitch came to me,"
"You should have resisted." she threw back.
"This shit you are saying now is not part of the fucking shit going on. My son is missing. Lil Kai is nowhere to be found, and you are....."
"Lil Kaiiiii! Lil Kai! Lil Kai! Lil Kai!" Isadora's squealed, taking our attention again.
"Lil Kai!!!!!!!!"
"Shut up!" I yelled, making her flinch but grinned afterward and began jumping like a kid.
I heaved a sigh.
"I told you she was nuts. Her brain couldn't handle the hard drugs. That is why she is like this. Perhaps the person who took Jamal knew she would be busy. That is how they had the perfect opportunity to steal him without anyone knowing," Imani said, adding to my anger.
"This Hispanic hoe caused this. You should shoot her brains out right now," she added.
I looked at her.
She is glaring at Isadora angrily. She has always been against my relationship with Isadora.
Which is not actually a relationship.
It was a fucking fling.
But it gave me a fucking heir.
I have been so busy building my empire that I didn't think of securing its future with an heir.
Now I have one.
I fucking need to find my son.
He is the only thing that matters to me.
"I will go get your gun so you can end her right now," Imani said, taking steps away.
"That won't be necessary," I said, stopping her in her tracks. "Get the guards to take her to her room and chin her up."
She looked at me with furrowed brows.
"What?"
"Do it now," I ordered, walking towards the entrance.
"But...."
"Do as I fucking say!" I ordered, heading out of the cell area.
I took out my phone from my pockets and dialed a number as I walked. I placed my phone close to my ear, and he picked up at the first ring.
"Yo, OG," Reeko's ever-cheerful voice filled my ear.
"Lil Kai is missing,"
"Say what?"
"Someone is messing with me," I said.
"Just say the word, OG. They'll be gone."
"Tyrell and the boys are on their way to Khalifa's. You know the motherfucker has been a fucking threat to me since I left the hood," I said.
"Shiit. I did tell you to end that motherfucker and his goons back then."
"The moron didn't pay me my money then. But now, I want him six feet under," I demanded, heading towards my room.
"Don't you think you are wrong? I mean, no one would dare cross you. Not even Khalifa. The kidnappers might not be from the hood," he said.
"That's the reason I called. You and the boys, find me answers outside Bricktown. I need my son found and brought to me alive."
"Yes, boss. What do we do to the motherfuckers that took 'em?"
"Undress their skulls and bring them to me. I need new cups for my Martini."
"I got you."
