"Imani recorded the bitch stabbing my mother three times in the kitchen. I fucking saw the video, shawty. That bitch was that deadly and I didn't fucking know." 

I let out a scoff of both disbelief and amazement. 

"Imani shot the bitch before I could even see the damn video." 

What in the world, Imani? 

"Till now,  I don't understand what the bitch had against my mother for her to kill her like that. I should have kicked her ass outta ma house a long time ago." 

"Wait, Kai. You are telling me that Imani showed you a video of Naomi stabbing your mom?" I asked. 

He sucked his teeth. 

"I fed Naomi's body to my damn dogs, girl. I saw the damn video." 

I let out another scoff. 

"The shit was crazy. You should have seen it, girl. I needed you back then. Why did you leave?" He asked, moving closer and reaching for my face but......

The door opened, revealing Lucifera. 

Imani. 

"Kai, what the......" she trailed off the minute she saw me. 

Her face fell into a frown. 

I stared at her sternly. 

She is a freaking good strategist. 

"What you want now, Imani?" Kai asked. 

"The boys have been called to the stage. They need you right now." She said 

He turned to me. 

"I have to go. But we are picking this up right after, okay?" 

I nodded. 

He leaned closer and kissed my forehead. 

I smiled at him. 

"You look hot in that fine ass dress by the way," he said, winking at me as he took steps back and walked out of the restroom, leaving me with the viper. 

"What the fuck do you think you are doing, bitch?" Imani asked, walking towards me. 

I folded my hands, staring at her boldly. 

"As if you not doing your side of the bargain which is you leaving this fucking country wasn't bad enough, you had to go to Marcel's. And you damn knew fully well that Marcel would meet up with Big Kai somehow cause they are fucking hood kings. You went there just to be able to see Big Kai again after our fucking deal, you sorry ass pathetic bitch." 

I raised my brows. 

"Now you are at all the events he goes to and  dragging him to a damn restroom, what fucking game are you playing, huh?" 

I scoffed. 

She moved closer. 

"Have you forgotten what I would do to you for this?" 

I shrugged. "No, I haven't forgotten. I remember our deal perfectly well. I tried my best to obey but your brother and I are just stubbornly meant to be." 

"Shut your mouth, slut." 

I raised my brows. 

"I see you no longer have that fear in your eyes anymore." 

I shrugged. 

"I'mma show him the pictures right after this event. You just watch and fucking see." she snarled. 

I let out a chuckle, making her face twitch. 

"What pictures, huh?" I asked. 

She scowled at me. 

"You mean the one you took of me or the one you had Naomi in as a video and already showed it to him?" 

She froze. 

I smirked. 

"How the fuck do you know that?" 

"Does it matter?" I asked. 

"He told you, didn't he?" 

"Of course, he told me, Imani. You are worse than the devil. You killed your own friend just to get on Big Kai's good side? Really?" 

"Shut up." 

"First you killed his mother, used her as bait to get rid of me. Then you used foolish Naomi who must have thought you two were a bloody team." 

"I said shut up!" 

"No, you shut up!" I snapped, taking her aback. 

"You don't have evidence anymore to keep me away from my man." 

She clenched her jaw. 

"You have no idea how much I have suffered being away from him. How much HE has suffered. Well, I know you don't care about his happiness, you selfish incestuous murderer." 

She gripped my neck instantly.

"Shut your bitch ass up, bitch! Shut up." 

I pushed her hand off me, making her take a step back. 

I massaged my neck and we glared at each other. 

"I'mma kill your ass, white whore." 

"You can't do anything, Imani." 

She clenched her jaw. 

"You will die of pure jealousy. Big Kai will never love you romantically. He might be blind or might have let you deceive him but I am going to end that. He will see the demon that you are very soon." 

She scoffed. "Before he sees that, he will see yours first." 

I stared at her. 

"Don't be fooled, sweetie. Just because you found out I gave him another evidence doesn't mean I still can't give him yours." 

I kept staring at her. 

"I can still show him and tell him you were Naomi's accomplice. The pictures are fucking convincing, you know."

My heart picked up. 

"He was unhappy about the fact that he didn't have the opportunity to kill his mother's murderer. He will be delighted to kill the accomplice, don't you think?" She asked, smirking. 

God, she is beyond evil. 

"And I will gladly let him do it. Not even the fucking love he has for you would stop him from killing your sorry ass." 

I looked away as I thought about it. 

"I am heading back to the event. Wash your face and think carefully before you do something stupid."

I looked at her. 

"Ciao." she chuckled devilishly as she walked out of the restroom. 

I rubbed my temples as I thought about all she just said. 

I looked up, closing my eyes and opening them. 

"Damn you, Imani." 



NEXT DAY......

EVENING HOURS.....

AT THE DINING ROOM......

"How was the event though?" Marcel asked as we ate. "I didn't get to ask earlier today." 

"Short. Mia had to drag me out of there and we came back home." Brandy said as I moved my fork on my pasta, void of appetite. 

"Is that true, Mia?" Marcel asked. 

"I just had to leave. I don't want to be there anymore." I said without looking at him. 

I moved a glass of water to Vicky who is seated next to me. 

"Is it because of Big Kai?" Marcel asked, making me look at him. 

He is sipping his drink. 

I moved my eyes to Brandy. 

She shrugged slightly, telling me she didn't tell him anything. 

"I knew he would be there. He had many boys who rap." Marcel said. 

"No. It is not because of him. I just wanted to leave. That is all." I said, returning my gaze to my meal. 

"You got some nerve talking to our Marcel like that," Nicole said, making me look at her. 

"Yeah, it is very disrespectful and I can't believe you are letting her, Marcel. What the heck?" Shelly asked. 

"Mia isn't a stranger here. She is my best enemy's girl. Show some respect." Marcel said, making them scoff. 

I looked at Marcel. 

"Apologies, Mia. They are just being them." 

"I am sorry if I sounded disrespectful," I said. 

"It's okay." 

"But, girl, what's up with you and your man? Why are you always like this when it comes to him?" Brandy asked. 

Imani's words filled my head. 

"He didn't get the chance to kill his mother's murderer. But he will be glad to kill the accomplice. And his love for you will not stop him from killing you." 

I clenched my fork as Big Kai came to my mind. 

"You ma life, girl. Don't push me away." 

I looked at Brandy. 

She is looking at me with concern. 

"Brandy," 

"Yeah?" 

"How much do you love Marcel?" I asked, making her look at him. 

He looked at her too. 

She moved her eyes to me. 

"Very much, why?" 

"What would you do if someone tried to separate you two?" I asked. 

She scoffed and pointed her thumb at Nicole and Shelly. "These two bitches would be dead by now if I weren't a Christian." 

I smiled as I heard scoffs from Nicole and Shelly. 

"They know what I put them through when they tried to get between my man and me. They are just here cause of their babies. Trust me, their ass will be gone very soon." 

"You wish," Shelly said. 

"Yeah, I'd like to see you try," Nicole said. 

"Marcel," Brandy called. "I swear to sweet baby Jesus, you....." 

"Yo, Shelley, Nicole, don't talk shit about Brandy, you feel me?" Marcel ordered. 

They rolled their eyes. 

"See that?" Brandy asked me. 

I nodded. 

"He knows what I can do. I still haven't forgiven his ass for cheating on me with these roadside bitches though." 

"Baby, come on," Marcel said, reaching for her hand. 

"Fuck off, motherfucker." she muttered, stopping him from touching her as she focused on me. 

"So what I am trying to say, girl, is I will fight for my love and get rid of whoever wanna get between me and the love of my life. That's my man." 

I smiled. 

"You feel me?" 

"Yeah, I feel you," I said, smiling as courage filled me. 

"Good. Now you go get your man. Vicky and Glen gonna see some cartoons before bed. You ain't gonna worry about nothing. You got plenty of time to do what you gotta do to get him." she urged. 

"Thank you so much." 

"Go!" 

I leaned closer to Vicky and placed a kiss on her temples. I got on my feet and headed out. 

"Say hi for me!" I heard Marcel say. 



KINCAID'S MANSION.....

NIGHT HOURS......

I walked into the building and I found no one around. 

It is just eight pm and everyone seems to have retired to bed. 

And the door is open. 

I furrowed my brows as I looked around. 

No maids or guards. 

Where is everyone? 

I looked towards the kitchen. 

It is empty. 

I headed up the stairs and walked along the hallway. 

"Jay Jay," I moved towards my former room door. 

I reached for the doorknob and grabbed it, while knocking. 

"Coco?" 

The door is locked. 

I guess it is locked from the inside. 

I knocked again. 

"Coco, are you in there?" 

No response. 

I furrowed my brows. 

Is she asleep or not in there with Jay Jay? 

Or is Jay Jay in there alone and asleep? 

But why is it locked? He can't lock himself inside. 

Or did someone lock it or something, I don't understand. 

I looked ahead as Big Kai came to my mind. 

I will be right back, Jay Jay. 

I headed towards Big Kai's room. 

"Kai?!" I called, slicing the quietness of the place. 

"Kai?" 

No response. 

I got to his door. 

I found it a bit wide open. 

What the.....

I saw Big Kai seated on his sofa next to his nightstand. 

He is shirtless but looks....

"Big Kai," I called, walking towards him. 

I got closer to him and crouched down, placing my hands on his lap as I studied him. 

His head is down 

"Kai," I called, reaching for his chin and raising his head. 

He opened his eyes dully. 

God, what happened to him? 

"Kai," 

"Shaw....shawty?" he said dully. 

"What happened to you?" 

"Shawty....loo....look.....ou...out." 

"Wha....." 

"Look out!" He pushed me to the side instantly, making me hit the bedstand with my shoulder. 

I whimpered as Big Kai got smacked hard on the face with a baseball bat instantly. 

My heart dropped as his body limped and fell on the floor. 

"No!" 

"Look what you have done, bitch!" Imani took my attention. 

"That was meant for your fucking ass!" She raised the bat to hit me. 

My eyes widened. 

"Ugh!"
