Present Time

She was standing there with empty eyes when Aisha held her arm and dragged her to the corner passing Roman.

"Roman honey, how is it?" asked Tiana. "Fine," he said, shortly.

"Muaza, now please go," said Aisha in a whisper. Roman could hear them due to his fast-hearing senses. "You ruined my day, what for I came here? What I will do when you are dating?" she asked, annoyed.

Roman was all ears.

"Well go anywhere but leave us alone," said Aisha, harshly. Tiana's phone rang, and she answered the call. "What? Okay, I am coming," she said and hung up.

"Honey, we are leaving, Patricia said mum is looking for us," said Tiana and kissed him on his cheek and left. Aisha walks off with her date. Muaza was standing there guilty.

"Hey Muaza, it seems like we both are on our own," he said, chuckling. She felt her heart rushing faster again. He wanted to make her feel better because he had seen tears in her eyes. Aisha always looked down on her. She was her best friend but just of name.

She remained quiet.

"Come on, let's eat something," he said, smiling. She smiled in return.



"Whoa, finally done with the damn project, now let's eat something," said Kashan. They were walking out of the museum.

"Where will we go?" asked Saliha. "The mall," said Kashan.

"Yeah, there is a mall nearby," said Hunza. "Boys are there already," said Hania. "How do you know?" asked Hunza.

"Haeem has informed me," she said.

"Why does he always inform you? Do you guys have something special in you?" asked Hunza.

"What? No way, he is my good friend," Hania said, rolling her eyes into the other universe. "Guys this way," said Hania.

After a few steps, they have already reached the cafeteria. "Hey guys," said Kashan.

"Hey," said Zain.

Emaad and Roman look at him annoyed. "Done?" asked Zain to Saliha.

"Yeah, but I need some written help," said Saliha. "I will help you with that," said Zain.

She looked at Roman instantly who was not paying attention instead he was talking to Muaza. She noticed her now.

"Hey," Saliha said to Muaza. "Hey," Muaza smiled.

"You are a girl from that day who got faint?" she asked.

"Why does everyone refer to me like that?" she asked, exhausted. Muaza chuckled. "What happened to you?" Muaza asked.

Saliha looked at Roman who had a stone expression. She had no idea why he acts like this whenever that day was mentioned.

"Nothing, I haven't been feeling well lately," she said.

"This place is quite boring, what are you guys doing inside when we have park outside?" asked Hunza. "Darlin, you seemed so childish," said Kashan, mischievously.

"Yeah, enough childish to leave her belongings anywhere," said Emaad while looking at her. She looked at him and there was something in his eyes that made her burn.

"I have not left anything," she said.

"Oh yeah? Watch your words," he said, mysteriously.

And the memory from that very morning came into her mind when she took a shower in the room he stayed in. She felt anxious and for the first time he saw nervousness in her eyes, he smiled.

"What have I left?" she thought.

"Come on, let's go out, it is fun," said Kashan.

They all got up but Roman.

"Are not you coming?" asked Zain.

"You guys carry on, I am staying here with Muaza," he said, expressionlessly. Saliha felt something strange had happened to her heart.

"You sure?" asked Haeem, mischievously. "Yeah," he said.

"Why the hell is he staying behind?" asked Hunza. "Maybe she is his new girlfriend," said Hania.

"I don't know how many girls he got," said Hunza. Saliha felt as if someone took her heart in their fist. "Saliha, come with me, I have to show you something," said Kashan.

She nods and walks with him.

Roman turned his face and looked at her leaving and answered Muaza's question.



"Lame, this is lame," said Hunza. "It works," said Hania.

"Oh come on, you gotta be kidding me, how can she tell us about our future?" said Hunza.

"I am telling you the truth, I remember when I came here with my mum, I had an exam in a week, I was worried so this witch woman predicted that I will get good grades, so I did," said Hania.

"Oh come on, it was not because of this witch but because of your efforts," said Hunza. "Really," said Saliha.

"You should try," said Hania.

"I am leaving," said Hunza and she walked towards the other stall. "You don't want to know about your future?" asked Hania to Saliha. "My future is sealed," said Saliha, mysteriously and left.

"Your future is sealed?" muttered Hania, "Hey, what do you mean by that?" she screamed behind her. "Guys, look, look, I got a new phone," said Saliha, excited.

"Whoa, where did you get that from?" asked Hunza.

"Uncle has given me a credit card and I found it in my cupboard this morning," she said. "Wow, finally we talk through the phone," said Hania.

"But I don't know how to operate it," she said.

"It's okay, I will teach you, here, this is how you can make a call," said Kashan. She looked very excited.

"Whoa, this is all amazing," said Hunza while looking at the fireworks, it was evening already and crackers and fireworks looked so beautiful in the sky.

"Whoa, I appreciate that beauty," said Hunza.

Saliha was looking at them in amazement as well but then she felt someone was standing behind her. She felt a shiver through her body. She looked back instantly and gasped.

He dragged her.



"Why do you hang around with her?" he asked, expressionlessly. "She asked me to do it," Muaza said, sadly. "Oh come on, you are not her servant," he said, his handsome face looking more handsome with anger.

"I know, I try to avoid her but she always asks me..." she tried to complete her sentence when he interrupted her.

"Well she used you," he said.

She opened her mouth to say something when Zain walked towards them, he looked tense. "Roman, Saliha............................... " He said. Roman's expressions changed.

"What?" he asked in a dangerous tone. "She is missing," he said.
